My Papaw was a Ford Man,He had a small Farm a 640,8N and I mean used them forever!! I'll never forget when the New 3910 Series 2 showed up...he was proud of it,I cut n bailed a lot of hay with it.
Nice looking unit. I have a 1986 3910 4wd and as you said they just don't make them like this any more. Noticed one thing, your fuel gauge isn't working, had the same problem, it's the sending unit in the tank. Enjoy this tractor, it's a keeper and a real worker.
Great job on the refurb! I'm in the process of restoring my grandfather's 1990 Ford 4610 SU II. I have a decal kit but several decals it didn't include were those, for example, on the starter, the right rear axel, and several other small warning labels. Did you have any issues getting those??
Sorry as I missed your post somehow Sam. I ended up finding the complete decal set at my dealer. Like you I had bought another set that looked horrible and didn't come complete. I also sent back a (old stock) OEM set that had aged and would't stick appropriately. Since alot of the OEM parts are now dried up you will need to find a good aftermarket supplier. Look at the kits on eBay closely and also ask your dealer. Wish I could remember the manufacture of the kit I bought as that would make it easier. Just been to long and I have no idea now. Good luck on your search.

Beautiful tractor. I just picked up an 82 for 3500 hundo (2400 hours). was missing most of the 3 point hitch components and needed a new nose cone and grill. I think I'll have about $4500 hundo in her including new paint when I'm finished. Thanks for posting!
