Hey there, I was wondering . . . I have a M50NV - can I swap the rotating assembly from the M54B30 with dual m50nv intake cams ("hot cam" setup)? Do you have a tune that would work for this?
Hakene30 hi, if I want to do this swap can you sort the dme for me with the service you provide? In the video you say 93-95 e36 needs a chip swap for the dme. I have a 1992 e34. Do I need a chip swap as well or a different dme? Also I’m not sure what camshafts I should use for my build. I have a 1992 non vanos m50. Can I use my stock cams. Or should I use the m54b30 intake and my m50 intake cam placed on the exhaust side. Having trouble ascertaining how to go about it if I don’t upgrade to the s50/s52 cams. Thanks for your help in advance.
I've combed through the forum for this build and I can't find it to be sure... There shouldn't be any major differences doing this in an m52TUBb28, right?
It'll work but you don't have to change your intake cam to m54b30 own because the m50b25 intake cam have same lift and duration with the m54b30 intake cam
Thank you, you saved me a bundle. Just a quick FYI, I was looking up parts and found out the m50 2.5 and the m52 2.8 use the same oil baffle.
