Thank you for talking about Pro & Cons. Of life on board a Navy Ship. The miss step that you almost DIED on. ( You said it) was "O" so important that happened and you showed it filming. On board Navy ships many hatches, water tight doors, high steeps to go over. To me in my Humble opinion you showed the most important thing, keeping yourself from injury on board. So many narrow Ladders going down and up. Must be always aware of your footing. That was a great thing to show, even though you did not talk about it. Safety at Sea.
In one of your last videos, you mentioned a lot of different rates. You mentioned their abbreviations. If you want, can you elaborate on the different rates, and talk about what they do?
So living on a ship is not optional, I could not live in the Barracks? So I don't get to have free time right after work like going to the movies, catching a drink, or going to workout at a different facility?
If you’re not on deployment yes you eventually get off of work and have your time off but when you first get to the ship you’ll be living on the ship until you get a barracks room unless you’re E5+ and usually there’s a process to get a room. I got a room when I first got on the ship pretty quickly cause I did all my qualifications quick and still took about 3 months then we went underway for 2 months so I technically lived on the ship for 5 months before getting a barracks room
@@KelloTheArtist How your liking it so far? Your considering renewing your contract? So getting a barrack room won't be that easy right away I need to go up in rank in order to qualify?
@@rodolfomorenoiii135 if you get your requirements done and there’s space in the barracks it shouldn’t be too bad of a wait and some bases is automatic (japan isn’t one of them) but E5+ you have a housing allowance… I do not plan to stay it being on a ship can really be a make it or break it and gives you a nice perspective on comforts and sacrifices you will and will not wanna make
@@KelloTheArtist I wonder how come there are people who just want to do their 4 years and leave while others do 20 plus years, what's the secret? Do you witness racism and bullying in the military? Has the military change you as a person like mentally wise?

Yes, I’m actually working on a video right now for my rate but if you have specifics I can makes a separate video or incorporate it
I'm in between air force and navy...Would you choose another military branch to work in if you could?
I would do Air Force if I had to start over.
@@KelloTheArtist Thanks! 🙂

You do have the option to room with people that live off base or get your own place out of pocket but that’s in your hands not just given by the navy
