東京迪士尼海洋 驚魂古塔 (故事版) Tower of Terror (Story)

Tower of Terror is one of the most thrilling attractions at Tokyo DisneySea. It is probably the world’s most elaborate design for a Drop Tower ride. The abundance of cast members, guiding and showing guests around, help enforce the illusion that guests are on a paid tour at the Hightower Hotel.
Harrison Hightower III was a very rich explorer. He traveled around the world to collect various kinds of artifacts. Most of these art pieces were stolen for personal gain and stored in his hotel. On an expedition to Africa, he saw an idol named Shiriki Utundu. Hightower took the idol away from the local tribesmen. There were rumors that the statue was cursed, but Hightower didn’t believe it. He even mocked the idol, using its head to put out his cigar.
On New Year’s Eve, 1899, as Mr. Hightower was taking Shiriki Utundu to his hotel's penthouse apartment, the elevator inexplicably came crashing down to the ground! The idol was the only thing found in the elevator. Hightower mysteriously disappeared without a trace. After this "accident", people began calling the hotel the "Tower of Terror."

哈里森海陶偉三世是一個非常富有的探險家。他周遊世界各地收集各種文物。這些藝術品中的大部分都是為了個人利益而被盜取的，並存放在他的酒店。有次去非洲探險時，他發現了一個Shiriki Utundu的雕像。 海陶偉從當地的部落人手中奪走了這雕像。有傳言說這雕像受到詛咒，但海陶偉不相信。他甚至對這雕像不敬，竟用它的頭弄熄雪茄。
1899年元旦前夕，當海陶偉先生帶著Shiriki Utundu到他的飯店頂層公寓時，電梯莫名其妙地轟然墜地！雕像是電梯裡唯一發現的東西。 海陶偉神秘地消失無踪。在事故後，人們開始稱這飯店為“驚魂古塔”。
