When the boys are traveling, just re-use the commercial plastic p.b. jar. Flexible, washable, seals. Can put the p.b., hazel nut spread in same jar.

Grapeseed oil (any seed oils actually) are highly inflammatory so avocado and true extra virgin olive oil are a better bet as far as staying healthy. Your pantry looks great!

@@modernhomesteadalaska It's true , including tomatoes are the same way.
There many foods, I can't eat because of High Inflammatory. It makes me miserable , no matter if I stand,
walk, etcc. I stick with Costco's 100% Italian Olive Oil , I feel much better and doesn't affect my stomach.
I am NOT speaking about ALL people , but when you age, your stomach can't handle certain foods,
it's like everything changes. I learn this the hard way, back in January 2013 , I had to change, what I ate.
Some people will get a big suprise when they become into there 50's and up.

I absolutely love powdered buttermilk and have also purchased regular powdered milk. I refuse to buy milk from the store at current prices. I love your working pantry!

For gout you should have no dairy, gluten, sugar (natural or otherwise), and no alcohol.
Also, for the peanut butter for the kids. Amazon sells larger reusable squeezy pouches.

Hi Jessica! I will be rewatching this video. Wow! Aaron has gout…my Asian family has a history of gout…for my Mom and Dad we avoid high fructose syrup and organ meats. But my Mom had flare ups a lot after her heart surgery and they put her on Allopurinol long term the standard medicine. But this other medicine Colchicine worked much better and was on it awhile and never had a flare up since this drug was taken. But we also give her apple cider vinegar daily and that helps. But ask the doctor, my Mom ended up having some test that indicates her body can’t metabolize protein well so we watch her protein intake. Well we will be moving into our new house where I will have some land to have my garden here in the city. Just stressed to get all the things for garden and vendors are all sold out…but I am happy to have found your channel as I will have new friends in Alaska to share my seeds, my dehydrated fruits and veggies ( once I learn how to do this) and my freezer dried goods( once I obtain this and learn how to do this). But I love your kitchen…I will have lots of space to store…and I have looked into Azure delivery here in the city only a few places…lol! My first project is to get one of those Cricut machines and make all my labels and to buy my storage containers. I’m so excited to follow you on this journey and I will let you know how my progress is also. I already know what to send you family for this holiday season…thanks Jessica for sharing all your ideas. Be safe and healthy!

You are so amazing, thank you fir sharing. Aaron is on only for flairs the medication starting with the c. His believe it or not is mostly stress related. Oh man before he was here full time, every time he had to leave us to fend fir our selves he had a flair. And as soon as he got here full time in April, he has only had one and was able to take care of it medication free. It’s crazy how painful it is for someone! I’m so happy for you and the new home! I pray many blessings over your home!

Cherries and walnuts are both great to combat gout. My husband eats them daily. He can't eat turkey, pork or oats. Oats have lots of purines which inflame gout.

My husband also started taking ACV in the morning and we think it may also help his gout and has helped him lose weight...that test sounds interesting!

Could you use your food saver to make single serve pouches of PB? Or just put some in snack bags that seal well. You can also use the little Rubbermaid containers. If you have a used Nutella jar you can use that.

Thanks, that was a great video. Fusilli is pronounced fu as in food, and silli and in silly, so foosilly = fusilli. Wow, I know that things are expensive in Alaska, but they actually compare yo NZ mostly....I sure wish I could get cheese 🧀 that price!!
