While many people are complaining about the climate, it’s encouraging to see the people who are actually doing something about the environment off their own bat instead of just mouthing off. People like these are leading by example. Unlike the jet setting forums and political spectacles that achieve very little.

Rest in peace, condolences family and friends, this video becomes a huge inspiration for everybody, we have the duty to fight back climate change and weather gone insane, our planet is like a baby, it needs affection, care and keep it quiet, clean and happy otherwise...we are in big trouble. Wishing you organize for the Summer season, camps for creative projects, kids are having fun gardening all schools and students volunteer and build up oxygen factories because.. our planet needs us now more than ever and Chinese people is crucial for this action now, we can make this world a better place

He is a hero!
Some people get the idea to steal, or seize, or colonize, or exploit, or enslave, in order to make themselves rich at the expense of others. But you will know that such petty evils are foolish and unnecessary, when you understand that even a destitute old man has the power to make life blossom in the desert. Nothing you take from others can compare to the power this old man has within himself.
His purpose was to green the desert and he succeeded.
I hope someone can make a good drama of the old man's life. Other people must have labelled him "crazy and foolish" at the time. His own family must have opposed him too - why must he make the whole family hungry just to plant trees in a desert. People so often forget how the perseverance and faith of one person can make a huge difference to the world.
Happy that he has a grandson who shares his vision. Hope that the "百岁林“ will be realized soon to honor this man and many others like him who started combating desertification with their bare hands and their own money decades ago.
