Matt's End Tables - Part 1
Вставка
- Опубліковано 2 жов 2024
- Matt is a friend of mine from pottery class. He asked if I'd make him a couple of end tables and I said sure. What I asked what he wanted he showed me a photo of a Mission or Arts & Crafts table. This is one of my two favorite styles of furniture. The other is Shaker. So I rounded up some quartersawn white oak from my hardwood supplier, West Penn Hardwoods and got started. This turned out to be a long video so I split it into two parts. I hope that you take the time to watch them both.

Love your video's. These end tables look great! My wife has requested mission style end tables and I stumbled on these videos. I was wondering if you sell plans by any chance?
Thanks for the comment. I don't have any plans for these or any other projects. If you Google mission tables I'm sure you'll find articles that include plans. Good luck with you project. Take care. Steve
@@slindsley1951 no problem. I usually don't have plans anyway. I hope mine look half as good as yours - happy wife, happy life. 😃
Lovely end tables Steve! Thank you for sharing the video with us.👍😎JP
Thanks JP!
Your very welcome Steve!😎
I have built all the furniture in my sons house in quarter sawn W/O , love the craftsman and arts and craft style. I replaced the chisels with high quality units. Made a tremendous difference. I have a Steel City tool. Works very well with the new chisels. Tables look great, keep up the good work! Enjoy watching. Rs.
Ralph - You can't beat quarter sawn white oak! I'm sure your sons will be passing on the pieces you've made for generations to come. Thanks for watching and commenting on my video. Take care, Steve
Like. I'm in the middle of a table. I don't guess you have a drawing?
John - I'm sorry but I don't have a drawing. I made a few sketches but that's about it. I'd be happy to answer any questions for you. Take care, Steve
@@slindsley1951 Was just looking for dimensions. Especially the drawer opening. Ge you some dwgs and you could sell
John - the drawer was 3 inches tall so the opening was 1/8 inch wider. The drawer was sized to fit between the front legs. Hope that helps. Anything else please let me know. Steve
❤💯😎👍👍
Thank you very much!
I just discovered sriracha sauce for the first time. It's a sauce sent from the heavens. Same with the Sriracha ketchup by the same brand. I could take a bath in this stuff
Adam - I"m a fan of the sriracha mayo. Goes great on a sandwich. Take care. Steve
