- Seiko presents "Melodies In Motion"; a wall clock elegantly encompasses by a brown buried pattern case; it includes 10 colorful sparkling LED lights, a light sensor, volume control, Glass Swarovski Crystals, electronic easy set feature and on/off switch with 6 D batteries included.
On the hour the clock plays 1 of 6 total Hi-Fi Broadway Melodies, complete with intro seque and outro music.
1) "Tonight" "from the Broadway Musical WEST SIDE STORY
2) "Melody" from the Broadway Musical CATS
3) "The Phantom of the Opera" THEME SONG.
4) "Danced All Night" from the Broadway Musical MY FAIR LADY
5) "America" from the Broadway Musical WEST SIDE STORY.
6) "The Hills Are Alive" from the Broadway Musical THE SOUND OF MUSIC

I saw 2 of those pop up on ebay but have never searched for many seikos until this january since I originally only planned to have 2 seikos(which I have) and one Rhythm clock... now that I am back in the melodies-in-motion clock hobby again I am going to collect more including some of Seiko's older clocks. I am either going to get this one or LS223B depending on availability since LS223B is a Japanese model, LS223B is the exact same clock as this, but it's appearance looks MUCH richer.
The segue intro music is the beginning of “So Long Farewell” from The Sound of Music and the segue outro music is “One” from A Chorus Line! :)
My grandma has this exact clock! She used to play it all the time when I was younger. The memoriesss ❤ I actually went over to her house a couple weeks ago to play it but the batteries went out while it was playing 😂 I still kinda feel bad because I was worried I did something lol (luckily she said it was just the batteries that need changing)

@ Haha yep it did. Because everyone was outside and I said I was going to the bathroom and I saw the clock on her wall and I thought for old times sake I'll just play it. And when I pressed the button, first there wasn't any music and when the clock lowered all the way and the doors opened, it kinda slowed down and just stopped 😂 and my grandma came in a couple minutes later, luckily she was understanding and she put new batteries in. But I thought that because it was so old, I thought it went out completely
Hi Eve, i am a viewer from the UK and i own this exact clock! I used to watch videos of it online when i was younger and it is much bigger in person! All my friends love it! Have a great christmas, and there are some videos of my clock on my channel!

I live in Las Vegas, NV. I assume you would pay for the shipping? you contact me and we can work out the details- if you are seriously interested in buying this clock. My mother gave it to me as a re-gift. She is an independent insurance agent and this was one of the gifts she won for placing 2nd in too sales from her parent company. I have never really liked the clock and although I have owned it for approx 6 years now, I never have used the hourly chime and incredibly, the SAME batteries that originally came with this clock when it came from the factory. So, the clock is in immaculate shape. If U R seriously interested in owning this Seiko Melodies in Motion clock, I'm serious about selling it. Hopefully, I will hear back from you &

The clock is in IMMACULATE condition. I have never used the hourly chime and incredibly the batteries that came w/ the clock are still working - after 6-7 years of owning it. BTW: it was a " re-gift" from my Mom who won it for winning too sales in her Insurance company.

One just got added to eBay earlier today. I found this video when I googled to find out why this particular model was so special and cost more than the other Melody in Motion clocks I found listed. Pretty cool, but too rich for my blood.

I didn't doublecheck and I do have the right reference and model number. The person that corrected me on this which you can see if you scroll down the page, was the one who gave me the quick model number which is the same I gave to you and also mentioned that this model is the older model which in my book would mean that it is a little bit more coveted. To own because it is the original older model but in immaculate shape

This is a qxm123brh an older version but it sounds better than the newer version
QXM223BRH is another clock, not this one. It is a newer version of this one but the older version (which is the one in the video) is much better than the newer version.

There is no need to program the clock. See video at 00:30 and you will see that on the side of the clock there is a ON/OFF switch. Since the clock is battery powered, you simply set the clock to ON position and it plays the 6 songs listed in the order that's displayed on the face of the clock. One show tune every hour.
