Finally, someone is paying attention to allied trucks and the kind of bodies they carried. The US CCKW 6X6, for example, had many, many variants: troop carrier, cargo carrier, kitchen truck, armorer truck, mechanic's truck in different variants, eye doctor, eyeglass fitting and repair, dental truck, mobile surgery truck, pontoon bridge truck, crane truck, radio truck, generator truck, dump truck, etc., etc. etc. A lot of them looked the same from the outside with a large van body, so I'd be happy with 1 type. Maybe a radio truck to go along with the radios van they just released! They could reuse the molding of the radios, double them, and include a van body with the US 6 Studebaker! You go ICM. You're quickly becoming my favorite 1/35 model company!
Apologies, I missed the live video due to a late finish at work. A very interesting catalogue of releases from ICM this year, thanks for sharing Peter.
Hi Peter had to wait till my catalogue turn up before l watched this video 😄 and l must say it makes for a good read now l am waiting for my Tamyia one to turn up good review, will look forward to seeing your other reviews 👍
Not only are icm on top in terms of amount of kits released per month, they’re one of the leading manufacturers for detail and overall fit too, quantity and quality all bundled together!
Take Note Airfix! Some nice stuff. Henschel! (What scale?). Some very interesting figure sets.👍 If you could show more of the pages described in front of the camera, or perhaps zoomed out a little Peter!
@@Peter-Oxley-Modelling-Lab Bwhuhaha! Actually, on the Henschel, I did a check on their site. It's 1/32 - so that's a nice size to go with my Cr42 Falco when I get around to building it, and a nice Spanish civil war themed companion to my Trumpy Ju87A. I can see me having to buy all their biplanes if I can sneak them past 'er indoors.
It's amazing how many kits they are releasing with everything going on in their country and the quality of the kits, sorry Tamiya one kit a year isn't going to cut it.
Thanks for another interesting and informative video, Peter. I did enjoy your Eduard Zero rant, which echoed my thoughts on their kits. I can't wait for the B-26 Marauder to appear, but I guess I'll just have to be patient !
Excellent review of the 2024 ICM Catalogue. I first made an ICM. 1/35 Bergepanther some twenty years ago. The company has come on in “leaps and bounds” in the last tens years, especially in 1/35 armoured vehicles and 1/48 aircraft. I have just bought the 1/35 WWI FWD Type B U.S. Army Ammunition Carrier and will anticipate your future review of the model. I was going to purchase the ICM 1/35 Sd.Kfz.251/8 Krankenwagen; however I think I will hold back until the triple set becomes available. Peter could you please ask ICM if they will re-release some of the 1/35 diorama bases such as the North African Street, Normandy Cross Roads and French Street? Do they plan to release any new 1/35 diorama bases? Please could you suggest some examples such as, The Colmar Pocket diorama, Operation Nordwind diorama and an Operation Market Garden diorama all 1/35. Many thanks
re: FWD Type B. I think that Bruce Crompton rode in one of these four-wheel drive vehicles in France (yes, it drives!), courtesy of his friend and collector Michel Lorraine. the episode is sure to be easy to find on TV catchup.
Hello Peter. Received a "reply" to a message I sent to you last week or so. Definitely a phony message offering a "business opportunity" or something to that effect. Provided instructions on where to get in touch with said scammer!! Beware Mr. Oxley, something is amiss, Jim
Wolfpack does a B-17c in 1/72 (no I never heard of them either. Korean co.). Italieri also did an RAF Fortress MkI in 1/72 which can still be found on a certain online marketplace. I think that is a rebox of the old Academy/Minicraft kits dating back to 1988
Oooh, that tank busting JU-88p-1 really does look the biz.!🫠..Thing is I’ve got a few of ICM’s 1/48 JU-88’s to build..🤔..Saying that, why not another and especially a tank buster JU-88..🤩 After the tempting JU-88,you show the catalog.!.Seriously though,I’m not buying too many kits this year and set a limit..I do want the 1/48 Airfix Bulldog..The rest that’s tempting me now comes from ICM.!.The 1/32 HS-123 has been on my list, when it appears. But the 1/48 Blackhawk is a must and hope they release a Seahawk.!. ICM are truly great as are all kit companies from the Ukraine and under Russian fire.!.But ICM shows the way to all model manufactures.🇺🇦👍 Good to see you back after your illness Peter..Watched your video and video rant on the Eduard Zero.!.Glad the Tamiya Mosquito in 1/32 gave a silver lining. All the best to you and all✌️😃👍
OMG!!! The CH 54 with military cabin pod. I want that.........Make it a medical helicopter. Please Peter can we have a review would love to see the detail in the cabin

That really would be great Alan.

Some great kits there. Especially the mobile church.

1/48 I think! Damn you, Sir…after your eagle eyes spotted my Zero leg issues, I had to rebuild it! 😤 (Lol🤣)

Thanks Peter for the review, ICM have certainly got some great kits coming out for 2024!
Impressive array of kits.

It`s very strange that you don't have 54 and 55 pages with 2 100% new models(35426 ‘Burma Jeep’, Mark I Model 1 and 35435 Humvee M1097A2) in it 😮
Don't worry, I will be reviewing soon. 😉
The Carrier on the box is HMS EAGLE you can tell as she has 2 smokestacks built into the Island and she has a battleship style tripod.
And a badge on the bridge with an eagle on it.
(I have Eagle eyes) 🔍

I will pass those requests on, Sir! 👍🏻

Wine?....try sliced lemon, honey, hot water and, most importantly, a good splash of scotch. Works a treat.
Wine was great (given we ran out of 3 bottles of the finest Glenlivet Scotch) …😉
Glenlivet's very good, if you get a chance try Auchentoshan Three Wood.

Peter, Does anyone make a kit of the earlier models of the B-17.? The B of C models? All I see are F and G models. Thanks in advance.
I think Anigrand craftswork models did a 'B' in 1/144?

Well OK but where are the red stars on the soviet plane's and equipment or we are now starting to edit history?
Think that fly was jealous of the helicopters....
a Barossa Shiraz is a better choice for winter...
Agreed!
That G4 is 1:24 😮
We need t84 oplot and t64BM bulat 1/2 from ICM
It will go great with the koozak2
