The ethereal body will hardly have detached itself from the physical body before these souls receive their first great surprise by experiencing that conscious existence and life have not therewith come to an end. The first result will be confusion followed by unimaginable anxiety, which often gives way to a state of gloomy resignation or most dreadful despair! All resistance is then in vain, as are their lamentations and their pleading; for they must reap what they have sown during their life on earth. -Abdrushin, The Grail Message "The Regions of Darkness and Damnation" Radiant light! Dazzling purity! A blissful feeling of lightness! All this speaks for itself so clearly that it is hardly necessary to go into details. The less the ethereal body, i.e., the cloak of the human spirit in the beyond, is burdened with some base proclivity, with any kind of desire for material things and pleasures, the less will he be attracted by them, and the less dense and therefore the less heavy will be his ethereal body which is formed according to his volition; and through its lightness he will be all the more quickly uplifted to the more luminous regions corresponding to the lesser density of his ethereal body. Abdrushin, The Grail Message "The Regions of Light and Paradise"
I agree with the first half, but the rest sounds quite negative. I tend to be of the belief that we experience whatever we hold in mind once cross over, because the spiritual and ethereal realms are less dense than the material, so things manifest much more quickly and we have more direct creative power. I also think there is an element of "like attracts to like". Dr. David Hawkins in his works describes the levels of consciousness, of which there are many, and each person gravitates toward a certain overall level of energy and emotion. I would imagine we are drawn to worlds and experiences after death which are a mirror to our overall state of being and stage of spiritual progression. This is all just conjecture, of course. Edit: I'm just seeing your edit and the second paragraph with more positive descriptions. Interesting material, thanks for sharing.
Hi Conor, Congratulations for your video! I'm 27 and I highly appreciated it. When I was 10, I experienced something I partially forgot, but I never made a connection with anything spiritual till quite recently. But this experience (which is not really a NDE, because it does not match most accounts of it) is not my point here. Personally, I wasn't much learned in the spiritual matters before I began my practice with the daily workbook of "A Course in Miracles", 222 days ago (I'm at lesson 223). What you say about the better world with blooming flowers, singing birds and triumphing nature retained my attention. According to the Course, it seems that this type of images are a precursory sign of advancement toward God and what he kept safe for our Higher Self. However, these images themselves come to pass when it's time for us to see the Light of God. One giant step is already done when we succeed in recognising truly and deeply that our senses do not represent the truth to us, and aren't more real than dreams. They may appear to be useful for our bodies, but what is our body, we do not know, precisely because our senses belie us. It takes courage not to trust our senses when it comes to discovering reality, but only because we still fear that without the dreams our senses made, everything will crumble down, and death take its place. But death is of the time, and time, according to the Course, does not exist. At least, it may not be exactly what our dream tells us. Once the dream is really over, we can never come back, because we fully recognised its unreality. If you want to discuss on it with me by e-mail, feel free, and if you don't, feel free too! 1:26 interestingly, are you aware that in Islam, ‘hell’ is not a permanent destination? From what I understand the sinner serves their sentence in hell and then continues on to the true afterlife and are permanently marked on the forehead as one who’s spent time in hell?
Interesting, I was not aware of that. It resonates with what I feel to true, however. My understanding of 'Heaven' and 'Hell' are that they are not literal places, but refer to states of consciousness. Heaven being a very joyous one, close to God / Source which is love, joy, and peace. Hell being a very low stage cut off from Source energy, associated with fear, lust, shame, guilt, anger, etc. As I alluded to in another comment here, I believe "like attracts like", and so when we die, whatever is our predominant state of being, positive or negative, we will tend to gravitate in that direction, drawing worlds and experienced to us that are a reflection of our inner state. We effectively have free will to choose to either evolve in an upward spiral or to degenerate downwards based upon our thoughts, words, actions. This is how I see it at least. Thanks for your comment.
@@TheWayWithinUs makes sense to me 100% Conor, in fact this whole vid was again brilliant and comforts and talks to me deeply 🙏🏻 I wonder, have you read or seen summaries of the ‘Tibetan book of the dead’? There’s a reading of the whole book on UA-cam, there were similarities between that and what I gathered from your perspective, whilst I was watching this upload I felt I would be remiss if I didn’t mention it, I imagine you’d find it interesting. Keep up the fantastic work thanks mate 👍🏻
@@arnielee9855 I've heard of it. I wanted to read it at one point many years back, but never got around to it. I might have a look at it. The reading list is quite long atm. 📃😁 Thanks.
