    I’m excited to start my treatment soon. I was given options for different brands of aligners but after being hesitant and trying to decide what’s best, the same office was able to price match Invisalign treatment to their cheapest option and saved me $2000. I think unlimited trays, comfort, materials , precision and effectiveness are all worth going thru Invisalign. I appreciate your in depth videos of your own treatment and how it’s going.

    Thank you for your update. I happy that you talked about your bite; other UA-camrs don't mention it. I am currently using Invisalign and at the beginning of my journey (May 2021) I never had bite issues until now. My teeth are all aligned by now but I having this big problem with my bite. It's so annoying when I am eating, especially when I am eating meat, pasta or salad and veggies with thick skin. I am really worried that I started this journey to align one bent tooth but now the function of my teeth is screwed up. I am only hoping that eventually the bite will be perfect again; otherwise I will regret doing this Invisalign teeth alignment. Looking forward for your final review, especially on the bite issue. Invisalign braces were a nightmare for me. In the process of Shifting my teeth, the braces tore off four of my crowns. What was left of the tooth underneath could not be saved and had to be removed. I went for what I thought was the next best thing, implants. Another huge fail! In less than 4 years, one of my implants fell out and another is loose. After spending close to $20,000 , my mouth is a mess . I have lost all faith in the dental community.

    Thank you for your helpful videos. I am in my first week of aligners. Food gets stuck in my teeth which used to not ever before and each time I eat a meal to brush is not sustainable. Also brushing immediately after a meal can damage the teeth enamel due to the acidic environment created in the mouth. Flossing several times a day also is not sustainable and may create gaps in my teeth. Please could you advise me on what to do? Did you face food getting stuck in your teeth due to the attachments as well? If yes, did you brush and floss after every meal?

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  2 роки тому +2

      Food can get stuck in between the teeth and around the attachments. The position of the teeth are being moved and you will find that things that didn't happen before do now. This is ever changing as the teeth move.
      Brushing after every meal has to become sustainable. It is a key part to successful treatment with clear aligners.
      Yes, technically brushing after every meal can damage the enamel due to the acidic environment. However, failing to brush and having the aligners over the teeth for long periods of time is considered more damaging. This is because the food/bacteria is trapped between the aligner and the tooth creating an excellent environment for plaque and potential long term damage to the teeth.
      After eating, you can rinse the mouth out and drink water to help reduce the acidic environment. It is important to brush and floss.
      Flossing, done correctly does not create gaps in the teeth.
      I have brushed after every meal. These have been odd exceptions where maybe I was out, and waited half an hour until I got home, but this is perhaps 2 or 3 times in nearly a year of wearing them.

    I’m curious about your opinion on toothpastes. Why should I chose an expensive toothpaste instead of a budget one ?

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  3 роки тому +1

      We don't generally recommend expensive toothpastes. In many instances a basic/cheap toothpaste is fine.
      For particular needs such as sensitivity, a more premium toothpaste might be better. The premium paste may have a better range of ingredients that could help improve and maintain the teeth better.

    • @Denchanter
      @Denchanter 2 роки тому +1

      He’s certainly right about the sensitivity toothpaste. I’d add that the whitening Colgate 3D is good. Make sure you don’t rinse after brushing. Even better if you use at night with a retainer.
