I need to change my entire exhaust soon. This seems like the easiest way to get to the slip-ons. I just need a buddy to help me lift the body. Thanks! I'm originally from CT and would pay you to do it but I moved to Florida 20 years ago.
Great video Doc....I really needed this two months ago . Installing my Suspension Technologies rears ...On my 23 Tri-Glide oWhat a pain in the AZZ never again . And yeah we did it the hard way OFC . Trying to torque the upper bolts what a middle finger . However the bonus was hearing my wife say it was like riding on a Cadillac.
Doc, I was told it was (really difficult) to take off the back half and then "replace it" on the Tri-Glide ,,, if it was that easy to take off and replace it honestly would have saved me allot of F-Words .
@@DrHarley That's exactly what the dealer said o i would never ... it's impossible ,,,then ha had some lame come out from the back saying these's only a couple of basic things ya can do on these new Tri-Glides,,, MFrs
Dr.Harley, so, I gotta ask, where did you get the passenger handles form? I have the same design from Siouxicide Choppers with the sissy bar, handlebars and the engine guard that all have that signature point at the junction. Any assistance would be appreciated.
@@DrHarley Thanks for the reply. So, any chance you could query your friend for this info? I hate to burden you on this but would be greatly appreciated!!
I have a 2023 road glide 3. It bottoms out on more bumps in the road than I like, and it significantly jars my spine, sometimes badly. They made adjustments to the piston under the seat, but I still get painful bumps. Is there a way to improve the system so I don't get such painful spine collisions? I weight 450 lbs, by the way.
Yes, that suspension from the factory is OK at best. I suggest that you call Rollin throttle and they can set you up with a replacement that will be able to perform and provide ridding comfort.
Excellent work thanks again brother!!
My pleasure. Thank you for including me in your project
great job doc...thanks for showing how the rear end is removed on them.
Great Job Rob! Glad you are doing well.
🛑🛑 Nice Work! 😀👍💯
Interesting to actually see the underneath of a trike.
Great video Dr.Harley. Thanks for sharing with us ✌️

Yes that's the easiest way to get it done. It can be done with the boy still on. However, it's such pain in the back side.

I wish it could have come out sooner. However. I did that job last weekend.
Suspension Technologies FTW!!
Thank you so much. Taking my trunk off this weekend. Cheers!!
It's easy. Make sure that you have a helper. They are not heavy. It's just awkward to do on your own.

The dealerships like to make it sound so much harder than it is.

Honestly it's not my RG3. It was a friends bike. So I am not sure we're he found them.
