Getting your rig up in the air without breaking the bank, this 2-1/2" Rough Country kit will allow you to run 35" tires, and perform much better out on the trail.
Installation is a straight-forward bolt-on process for your 2018-2020 Jeep JL Wrangler, and this kit includes the required shock extensions and sway bar end links to get you back off-road in no time.

This is the best gosh dang video for spacer lifts I've seen, and I've watched 27 different videos. Talk about straight forward and to the point, perfect and for people looking to run larger tires and run moderate off-road trails this is all you need!
Agreed!!!
I just finished completing this on my wife's 2020 Jeep Wrangler JL Rubicon and I'd say probably 50 of the last views were mine alone thank you very much for the walkthrough I also did this on the ground with Two Jacks and two jack stands and it took me two and a half hours
Hi, we have a 2020 JL Rubicon as well. Did you also leave the stock shocks, and how has it worked out for you, any issues? Appreciate any feedback
How did it hold up?
I just completed this installation on my new 2020 JL and after watching all of the vids on UA-cam about how to put this kit on...this was the vid that most clearly and concisely explained it. So, your vid was our reference point as we moved through the project (we had the laptop on a table in the garage and started/stopped the vid as we progressed to each step). Note, the paper instructions that come with this kit are impossible to follow and the pictures are black and white 1" thumbnail size, no way you can see what they are doing in the pics. Thanks for this vid! (btw, the install took two of us 5 hours to complete)
Nice!! 35" on a 2" lift....Nice!!
Thanks!
2020 Willys Unlimited. Take pictures before removing anything. Front Passenger (Not Shown in this video) is the hardest without a lift. Had to rent a spring compressor. Also spring perch is encumbered by the lower sway bar so used a low profile ratchet w a long handle to blindly bolt the bump stop to the concave underside of the spring perch.
That one thumbs down is from a jk owner
hahahah
What they dont tell you is that longer control arms or control arm relocation brackets are a must! The Jeep will drive like ass until you add those. I wish they would come standard in a budget kit
Looks great!
Thanks for watching!
Looking great!! Would I be able to fit 37" tires with this one?
So the instructions say to disconnect the track bar from the Frame side as well as disconnect the driveshaft? Did you not have to? Also I have read you need to loosen the upper and lower control arms so they don’t bind up. ?
I wonder is there any torque spec on these bolt?. Other videos say yes and others do not mention it. I got my kit today and in a few days going to give this a try.
Can you show how to adjust the pinion angle with stock suspension
I know this is old, and someoneelse asked the same question without an answer. Do you need to undo the track bar mount? You didnt, what is the difference if you do or dont?
Will this kit hold up , if you plan on going off reading, trails, mud? And if I plan on putting a steel
Bumper and wench?
awesome video as always...
Appreciate that, thanks for watching!
WOW, great choices for mods. looks amazing. does the 35s slow down the jeep JL?. I just bought a JL coming from JK that was horribly slow with 35s and a 2.5 inch lift.
Question: Am I able to install a 6” suspension lift, and then also have this 2.5” spacer lift in combination?
I’m new to lifting vehicles and just curious.
Can you do a spacer lift kit with a lift kit together?
How come you don't need a spacer for the lower control arms?
How is the ride and handling compared to stock?
Also, are the fender flares stock or the aftermarket Rubicon version?
Would I need different sway bar links for a 2020 rubicon
How does this kit hold up over time? Anyone have any issues over time?
Great video, do you need to remove the track bar?
No
I think the people that remove the track bar are the ones that end up having to get an alignment afterwards
Does this kit fit the JLU Rubicon?
What size and width are the wheels
I noticed the instructions say to take off the driveshaft... is that not really necessary?
We've done this lift a few times and never needed to remove the driveshaft.
What tires are these?
Is that a sport or a sport s?
It's the (sport) it comes with blk steel wheels. the (sport s) has silver alloy wheel.
I’m new to the Jeep world. Just purchased a 4 door JL. Is this a lift AND spacer kit? I planned on buying a lift kit and spacers but if I buy this am I getting both in the same package?
Alan Jackson this is essentially both. It’s a lift kit utilizing spacers instead of longer coil springs.
Nice job but that repetitive background music is really f---'n annoying.
You can swear on the internet
No way. I love the background music. 😍
DO NOT USE THIS KIT, ITS POOP
