I honestly wouldn’t even classify it as a souls game. I like the souls format but Sekiro was able to create a completely new experience that made me hopeful they would deviate a bit more. I was pretty disappointed with Elden Ring. Still think it does some things really well though.
This isn’t a “how to beat Isshin as effectively as possible guide” I’m just messing around with stuff to see what’s possible. I’ve never seen anyone jump off his head and parry the mortal draw attack mid-air, obviously that’s not as efficient as just doing it normally but it looks badass 😅
