Hello, do you have any videos on the LEDs on the DJM600? I have an issue with mine, lights don’t seem to want to stay on, they fade out to nothing or don’t come on at all. Thank you
Awesome vid mate. I actually have this job to do later. super helpful. You made it look easy. I thought you might of used low melt solder using an iron. But hey i'm used to repairing phones. Will deffo be looking at your technique once apart. You have a new subscriber. Nicely edited vdeo
I have a DJM500 that needs a master potentiometer in the rear by the RCA jacks. DCS1036 is NLA everywhere I've checked. Is there a cross reference you recommend?
can you help me sir, i have problem with my djm 600 all line input is not working no sound at all but if i removed the 3.5 jack on my cp there is respond meter from Vu led meter... can you give any advice thank you very much
Hi Sir i just want to ask my djm 600 has a problem everytime i switch to stereo mode its show only left vu level, all the channels are showing this problem, Can you give advise to solve the problem. thank you very much Sir..
I have a problem with ina djm500 in all the channels I get one of the master channels with more gain. with the pan potentiometer I can adjust it to be the same. but if I pan it to the center the knob always one channel sounds more. greetings from Argentina
Nice! Helps me get to trim or terminals for ch 3 and 4. Something buggy, can it be beers spilled? Probably. Mixers often in a happy environment. Thanx 4 good informative video
Wish I got deeper into fixing gear. All I did was guitar petals and fixing synths/guitars/bass’s(electric), and turntables. Wound up fully focusing on audio production and engineering.
Great video mate I've got issues with my 600 at the min no sound coming from phono output with powered speakers into the xlr outputs yet get sound through line out on all channels any help would be great cheers Rick.
Thx for your videos and your time. I have some issues with the djm 600 that I can't deal with. But I like this mixer so much. Do you mind if I ask you some help? Thank you.
The power switch has failed on my DJM500, and I'm have quite a difficult time finding a replacement. Would any of the switches be interchangeable from other models?
HI, So I am sorry to say they are differant enough that none of the others will work including the djm 600 switch which is very close. I will have a look tomorrow and dig out a part no for you.
@@DJlegionuk I've got two Pioneer part numbers for the power switch. PSA-009 and DWR1245. Everywhere I've gone to says they're not carrying them or sold out long ago. Almost tempted to do some retrofitting at this point...

Hello friend, I am very upset with my pioneer 600, my crossfader only works on the right, it does not cut to the left, even having everything well configured, and I just installed a new crossfader but it is the same, any ideas? Thanks for the channel Are you a good person
HI, how do you have the cross fader select switches setup ? if you have ch1 to the left and ch2 to the right only ch2 will work, but what if you switch that so ch2 is on the left and ch1 is on the right does the problem still stay on the right side ?
does it still work or does the lights come on and it just locks up ? not much you can do about it really. Check to see if it has the correct voltages, look for any loose connections. check the PCBS for damage, dried liquid. I do not get into repairs of the boards so do not not much more.
@@DJlegionuk Honestly I haven't tested it with my gear. I just plugged it into the wall, everything lights up and stays like that. Only time it alternates is when I go into "test mode". Hmm too bad. I did email Pioneer, and they simply said it's an internal issue, and to send it in. But who wants to do that with such an old mixer.. haa
@@adonist7 have you downloaded the service manual and looked at faults ? Actually I just looked and it does not, it just has how to get into test mode, but nothing to say possible reasons for faults.

@@danielmcfarlane5832 Sorry I am not sure, the Mains transformer is on the right at the front and the regulators are just to the left of centre on the base so nothing on the left side would generate any heat.
i saw your other question, you have no audio on line inputs, what about cd inputs or phono inputs, what about mic inputs. do you have audio in headphones, on the record out, rca master or xlr master. This is not related to my video and is way beyond replacing a switch, I do not think I could help without having the mixer to test a lot of things.
@@DJlegionuk Sir all line inputs except for microphone, before it was working only channel 1 and 2 while 3&4 are not working, i was using headphone as my output. channel 1 & 2 are working before while playing my music it suddenly cut off the audio and the Vu display also is gone. i use dvd player to play my music. thank you sir

oooOOOOoooo....
Fixing mixers is a lengthy process, ...compact & intricate, extra care has to be taken, ...much respect to pioneer & design team
Great video! How do you replace the beat selector buttons, one goes up but the other doesn't go down when you press them. Thanks!
They are on that brown PCB I removed and you just need to de-solder and replace.
I have the same issue. Was looking for a repair vid as a guide to getting to the PCB before i jump in. Thanks DJ Legion great vid
Hi Sir, great video, thanks for that!!
what can be if i hear a slight buzzing on the headphones?! Maybe some places to solder again ?!

I got an old DJM 500 for free. It has a broken toggle switch like this one. Is it the same part #? I love these old analog mixers.
yes i am sure it is the same part.
This was the first Pioneer mixer I got. Amazing beast, scratching with the native crossfader sucks but true DJs can always make it work. 😉
