Your evaluation of this car is a win for both you and Rivian. Clearly one of your best delivery/performances, and Rivian hits this one (GEN II) out of the park!
Great review Drake! Those horsepower numbers are just insane! Rivian really did some great upgrades and I'm looking forward to seeing them produce even more new vehicles. Hope that you are doing great!
Ok, I get it, the new Rivian drives nice, it's fast, feels like a real luxury SUV. Now, what about the computer screens. Can you use the touch screen while going over some serious bad roads, or do you touch some where you didn't want too. I have touch screens, and they can be a pain in a moving vehicle. I like knobs and buttons, which are tactile, and easy to find. Buttons on the steering wheel are good, until there are too many. How easy does the map scroll? How well do the verbal commands work? Does the battery have a cooling or heating system? How well does the SUV do in a crash? You only need so much fast to merge onto the freeway.
@@TestTranslator I was hoping for Captains Chair and the original R1S initial choice of 5 or 7 seater. I guess I’ll just have to either remove the second row seats or just leave the 3rd row down for gear
@@drakemoschkau only in motion or just sitting there. I guess in motion can be attributable to suspension change. I have the R1S gen 1 but I am ordering a gen 2. From the video the seat looks exactly the same

Test drive the. vehicle, you are your own best judge
But they are still keeping the 3rd row?
Yep! R1S is a 7 seaters
You are thinking of the R2, that one will not have a third row and doesn’t come out until 2026.

What's the R1T color @ 2:48 ?
They say the CT looks ugly, well these things definitely look like shit to me.
What world do we live in now Where 0 to 60 is in 3.2 seconds is not good 😂
I know, like tf 😂
We are spoilt but will take it
Can’t believe you got so many facts about this car wrong. There were a lot more updates than you mentioned.
Also the seats are the same.
I know they say the seats are the same, but I find them far more comfortable.

I just picked up my gen 2 in addition to my gen 1. The gen 2 rear seats are in fact different. Not sure about the front
