My project list just got so much longer by looking at this video! No idea when I'll have the time to knit all these projects, but I'm so excited! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for mentioning Irene Lin! She is already quite established, but I always thought she deserves more recognition. A knitwear designer popping up in my head that was not mentioned in the video is Spektakelstrik? She was the very first designer from whom I purchased a pattern, and I keep returning to her! I also like the sort of fun, funky design, and her style is exactly that.
One of my favs is Lærke Bagger! She has a really interesting way of combining colours, and like James N Watts, brings a really unique flavour to knitting. I was familiar with some that you mentioned but not others, so thanks for the reccs!
Hi there is a book called romantic nits I had it about 10 years ago it’s a beautiful book you might be able to find it it sounds perfect for you hope you can look for it on one of those sites that sell books are half price or somebody maybe you’ll be able to find it I think you would really enjoy it enjoy the show about mirrors that I need to know about and happy knitting and happy 2023
Wowow I came out of this video with at least five new projects I can't wait to try. Definitely not at a level where I can attempt the Fantastitch Sweater, but now I have a big ol' lofty goal haha Found your videos recently and have been really enjoying them!
Hey Harry ! Thank you for the recommendations, there were quite a few designers I haven't heard about in this one that are really good. Another fav I have is Augustins, it has a very romantic feeling to it. Hopefully one day, you'll be the one mentionned in a video about knit designers. Oh and side note : I love your earrings in this video.
Oooo I haven’t looked into some of these designers!!! I love Fabel knitwear 😍 haven’t made anything yet from her but everything looks absolutely gorgeous. Definitely a goal of mine. Some of my favorites are Andrea Mowry, Ozetta, ParknKnits, and Laura Delgaard. I think you’d love Laura Delgaard with all her quirky designs!!
Great video as always 🤗 If you love Fabel knitwear you'll also adore Marzena Kilaczek, I found her a couple of weeks ago and her designs are incredibly feminine, dainty and romantic. I can't wait to make her posy cardigan 🥰
I'm working on my first Petite Knit pattern. I have not tried any of many of those maker's patterns yet but I didn't start knitting until October of 2021. I have a lot of patterns purchased and in cue on Ravelry. I have enjoyed knitting patterns from Jessica McDonald. I have also knit a Ranunculus and working on a second. I recently knit the Rock It Tee from Tanis Fiber Arts and it was a fabulous pattern. I am also currently working on a tee pattern by Isabell Cramer. I have a few Joji Locateli patterns in cue too. I have a couple of patterns that are tunics and very feminine by Pelykh Natalie. I believe she is a Ukrainian designer. They are summer, light weight tops that I have some Holst garn Tides yarn that is a wool/silk blend that I think will make a beautiful drapey fabric.
There are so many designers I wanted to add but couldn't fit in a single video! Let me know who are your faves 😍
@thenakedknit !! She does beautiful bras
Fabel Knitwear is one of my favourite designers too! I love her designs because she has a really distinct style, very romantic and feminine
100%! I absolutely adore her designs!
I'm making the Rift pattern right now!! Many of these are new to me. Thank you for sharing!
You are so welcome! I'm so happy I could help!
