Man this looks sick! Glad to know bases are still a thing. I love how they added more moves to keep enemies airborn for longer, like that little "kick uppercut" you can do and of course the special abilities. I also really liked that "Symbiote bomb" you can drop to clear the area under you of pesky enemies. Your videos and BeeG's one are hyping me up! Sucks that you have to beat the game once to unlock Ultimate though. I guess it's another reason to replay the game while we wait for NG+ :D
Thanks a lot! The air combat changes are fantastic (just have to be on guard for those electric air grenades the Hunters use like in this video). It is unfortunate that we have to go through the game once to get Ultimate difficulty, especially since there's no NG+ yet, but I was expecting it. I wonder why in their Ratchet & Clank game they gave players the highest difficulty right away but not in Spider-Man ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Great use case of symbiote surge. Cause those air grenades are annoying! And love the use of the camera and slow motion too!
Thanks a lot, man! Some of the L1 moves work to get you out of danger from the grenades as well but at the moment they were all on cooldown.

gameplay was sick bro, 3:48 I hate these air grenades so much man makes me lose the combo so often gotta use the rage just to get out untouched 😭
Thanks, bro! Yeah, just sucks because I feel like I have to always keep either an L1 move or Surge in reserve to deal with the grenades instead of using them whenever I want.
@@VonZuben facts most of the time I’m saving the rage just for that 😂
I swear the game doesn’t give you any indication when enemies are about to throw it either
It's super quick. Tough to avoid. I keep SFX turned to max and other audio turned down a bit to hear the little clink sound of the canister, which helps but isn't a perfect solution.
Are you gonna do another combat/movement hybrid video like that one for MSMM? That was really cool

1:20 What move is that where you kick them higher into the air?
When you connect with the Swing Kick, press Triangle.
@@VonZuben There are two other moves I noticed. One has Spidey yank the enemy into the air and slam them back down and the other looked like a midair Leap Off attack that sent enemies straight downward.
@@Bobb11881 Yep, there is now what's called Directional Yank so with a webline you can yank an enemy to either side or straight up and back down. When you hold Triangle you can also press either L1, R1, or both for those moves.
And a variation of Leap Off called Bounce Off that pushes you up while the enemy gets sent down to the ground (where if they don't die they will bounce back up). That requires holding X rather than just pressing it.

whats your opinion about the gameplay
Overall great and really fun with some excellent additions and tweaks, but gadgets were a let-down and there were definitely a bunch of changes and removals that I don't love.
@@VonZuben honestly the combat look cool but im kindda disapointed i dont know is it me but i had a way more expectetions about the sequel
@@VonZuben they only had just a few moves and new features on combats or swinging. i hoped for a wall combat like web of shadows.
