The fact that this is a spinoff of Parappa makes sense for him to sneak into another game that's not Parappa 2, only as a surprise character and they put some actual effort to change some cutscenes to make it feel like Parappa 2. The Parappa 2 we actually got is the real Parappa 3.
They used the OST over the gamplay. That's why bad and awful aren't different, and parappa's vocal is HQ (the rest is probably mods for the HD cutscenes)

The fact that this is a spinoff of Parappa makes sense for him to sneak into another game that's not Parappa 2, only as a surprise character and they put some actual effort to change some cutscenes to make it feel like Parappa 2. The Parappa 2 we actually got is the real Parappa 3.
