IL Mostro demo rides the new 1250 GS Adventure. TLDR: It's a fantastic long distance adventure tourer, perfect for cross country rides in comfort with great technology.
Multi 1260 S is definitely much more fun, it’s more sporty, more edgy. You can easily imagine doing a track day on a Multistrada and drag knees. But the BMW GS feels like it’s better for very long distance riding and possible off road riding. I’d feel more secure going cross country on the GS for instance. I suspect it’s a “tougher” bike. That doesn’t mean you can’t go cross country on a Multistrada either, mototravelous does it every year, has put 50K miles on his. So I’d put it like this: Ducati Multistrada 1260 S = 60% sport, 40% touring. BMW 1250GS Adventure = 75% adventure touring, 25% sport.
@@ilmostro16 Thanks man! Thinking of pulling the trigger on a 1260S very very soon. I could always just test ride the 1250 but wanted to get your opinion. I love the way the Ducati looks as well. I have never owned one and I definitely felt super special riding one for the first time. I can't imagine anything being more fun than that. It's amazing how comfortable and easy to ride it is.
good vid...I just did the Demo last Friday and it may have been the bike you just Demoed :)
Ha, probably. It’s a great machine and if I wanted a dedicated interstate tourer Adventure bike this would be the one I’d get.
Great bike... almost perfect.. Must be why i bought it. :) Editing some more videos driving it in the alps as we speak right now..
It's an 8 gallon tank - I can go 380 miles on a tank. . . .
Audio is kinda low sir
hows this compare to the 1260S in terms of handling and fun?
