Marvellous fun Peter! The sound of those tyres on the concrete floor takes me back to sliding about on the patio with our RCs as kids!! They were so much fun to slide about 😂
Great to see you getting people involved too mate. That is what it is all about 🙌🏻

      Hello Craig 👋
My lunch breaks are even better when I take an RC into work 🙃
Better in the dry than outside in the wet 👍

I loved the tires squealing on the concrete! I could spend quite a while out there listening to it run around and screeching the tires! It looks great out there and a great way to spend a lunch break!

Love it, Pete! The Brat is a fantastic little Tamiya and yours looks gorgeous in that colour. Some lovely chap got me a Bray, don't you know?!?!?! Great indoor fun and a great place to get those soft rubber tyres a workout! Take care, mate! 😁👊👍

Hi there young guru 😊😊that’s a fantastic looking Subaru Brat, that green and black livery is just fetching my friend. Perhaps a touch too powerful for the indoor surface though, you had to concentrate and use all your reflexes to keep it straight 😊😊 so nice that a few of the guys were able to share the splendour too 😊😊awsome😊! Best wishes my good friend. 😊😊

What a good way to demonstrate how well this Brat goes - even in that cavernous space you can hardly hold full throttle fir half a second!
The body shell looks great in that very seventies colour - I once had a VW camper in that colour!.

Hi Del, thanks for tuning in 👍
My lunch breaks have never been so enjoyable since taking my RC's into work and testing them out on such a slippery surface. Much better to run them indoors as opposed to outdoors in the wet weather 😜

    • @Del350K4
      @Del350K4 9 місяців тому +1

@@cw-01creations46 It really is a wonderfully slippery surface, isn't it?
The rear end whips round just as I remember it doing in my youth : )
And, yes, I love playing indoors when it's rainy, whether you're talking indoor RC planes, helis or cars!

Very nice young Peter! Good to see the Brat out and about and your workmates helping. That floor looks like it would be good for a 4wd to drift around on. Weather crap here today so no RC apart from indoor jobs. I'm assuming it's the same with you? Cheers for now mate 😁

That sounds great on that surface. My first Tamiya way back in 83! Big soft spot for the Subaru Brat it looks great in that colour too Peter!
Hey my friend make should there is no camera in that warehouse for the Boss to see you!😮

I take my hat off to you Sir!
I just love the fact that you are blatantly playing with toy cars, when you are supposed to be working!
Not only that, you are engaging the help of your colleagues, whilst you're utilising the the benefits of the 'office' smooth, large, flat floor and turn it into an rc testing ground!!!
And,getting paid for it at the same time!! 😁
Fair play mate,I like your style!!
Oh.....s**t,I do hope your boss doesn't watch your channel....if so please delete this message! 😁
Your other work colleagues seemed quite interested, could you not persuade a few of the other guys to get a CWO1 each????
Imagine the fun you could have with 3 or 4 lunches, that loading bay,and few cones and a ramp?!!!😁
Oh,and great Car to fella, the ORV platform Is one of my favourites......and own 5 vehicles with this chassis.
Shame about the design flaws on the gearbox.... Obviously more prevalent with the big wheeler models.
God I've lost track of how many times I've built/rebuilt those crappy gearboxes where the plates had warped and the spur gear and bevel gears got totally mashed!!
Thank God for the MPI ball diff......expensive,but a great performing /reliable soliluton to the issue, which I'm suprised didn't get improved by tamiya before the re releases of those specific models.
But,at the same time I believe that a re re should be as close to the original as possible, flaws included!
In witch case....Maybe I actually enjoy aligning them two metal plates to all those silly non fixed plastic supports, whilst trying your hardest to not let all the non fixed gears you had just installed drop out onto your lap!!😁
And all the time you know fully well that you will be doing it all over again after putting less than ten battery packs through the car should you choose to go with anything more than a silver can!
It's kinda weird how I used see these things as 'issues', back in the eighties..... but now see them as part of the 'quirks'of the model.
And thats why us 40+ demographic still enjoying building and running these relics rather than playing with a modern state of the art ready to run Arrma or Traxxus.....yeah they are great, strong, reliable and extremely fast, but in my eyes they lack the charm and charisma of the vintage stuff.
God I'm rambling on......too many Henry westons!
Yeah, what I meant to say was-
    Great video mate! 😁 👍 👍 👍

Hello James, Thanks for watching 👍
Mu lunch breaks have never been so enjoyable since I've been taking an RC into work every day. My colleagues aren't into RC's but are happy to see what Creations I have built. A few members of the upper management subscribe to my channel to keep up to date with my projects and as long as I don't smash the stock up or set alight to the building, it's a win-win in my eyes 😀 😉 😊
This Brat is a standard re-re version with a 25t Torque Tuned motor on 2s lipo and I did the steering upright swap so that my wheels don't fall off cos the original uprights are crap!!! I did the video on my channel yonks back. I did the hard body of this in Pearl Green 👍👍👍

Hi pete im new to all this im a car mechanic and really want to build my own rc from scratch what is best kit to get me started znd where do i look?? Amazon ebay etc any help much appreciated thanks m8 love your work the lotus cortina and mk1 escorts u did 4 hayes mint m8

    • @cw-01creations46
      @cw-01creations46  9 місяців тому

Hi there, thanks for stopping by. What kind of a kit are you looking to start with?
      Road car? Buggy? Monster Truck?
Ebay would be my first choice as you can compare prices between Sellers to see how much your budget would allow. Any decent model shop that you can visit will also help you to decide where you want to start. If you start with a CW-01 kit like the Lunchbox, you can swap the bodyshell for something completely different like I did with the 2 mk1 Escort's I built for Marcus Hayes. The Lunchbox is a 205mm wheelbase and you can go to Kamtec Modelsport's website and search for banger racing bodyshells with a 205mm wheelbase. If you want to build a buggy then the Grasshopper is a brilliant starter kit or the DT-03 Racing Fighter or Neo Fighter are also fantastic kits to build as well. The road cars are a little more involved when building up for a first time kit but it also depends how much you want to spend to start with. The handset, battery and charger will probably set you back around the £60 area and that's before you purchase a kit. You can of course purchase the items as spare parts saving yourself about £50 off the price of an actual kit if you decided to go down that route as well.
I hope I have been helpful with my reply 👍
