Ingredients for the Strawberry Filling in grams:
- 300 gr Strawberries
- 2 tbsp Water
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- The Zest of 1 lemon
- 200 gr Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract to add at the end ( optional but recommended)
Ingredients for the Strawberry Filling in Cups:
- 10.5 ounces of Strawberries
- 2 tbsp Water
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- The Zest of 1 lemon
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract to add at the end ( optional but recommended)

I made this strawberry jam so many times just because it's so easy to make and it comes out really good, I dont even use it on cake lol. Ive used it on pancakes and cheesecake. There's no other that I like as much as this one. THANK YOU EMMA YOURE THE BEST
EDIT: I did use it for my Mom's birthday cake and everyone loved the strawberry filling, they said it tasted better than the filling grocery cakes have in them. Thank you once again, Emma.

really have to agree with everyone here about the strawberry caramel- this stuff is absolute heaven, and it's so versatile! it tops desserts, it makes strawberry whipped cream, makes a FANTASTIC strawberry milkshake, goes great on plain bread... genuinely it's been so nice to just have a bit of it in my fridge

LOve this! I made it today for my grandson’s birthday. He is 4 and he wanted a cake with strawberries. Let me just tell you that it is all too soft if you live in a warm climate. We are in AZ and when it isn’t the dead of winter, our house is usually around 80 degrees. I am having the MOST difficult time layering this. On the upside - it is absolutely delish!

I made this strawberry cake for my birthday (5 layers) with whipped cream frosting. It was incredible! When I tried the strawberry filling on its own I thought it was too sweet but it worked out perfectly in the end! I substituted the coconut oil for 3 tbsp of vegetable oil. The only problem I had was that when I was decorating the cake the strawberry jam started to ooze out from one of the sides :( Next time I'll put a double layer of whipped cream on each cake to prevent the cake from bleeding out LOL :). Thank you for another amazing recipe!
