i always wanted to create a stop motion that was more than just a stop motion, something that contains feelings and deeper meaning with amazing cinematography
That... I don’t know what to say... it’s a masterpiece. That is love defined. This must have took a lot of work! Although you can’t see the expression on a lego’s face, you really made it so that we can feel what they feel. Great work man, this is THE BEST BRICKFILM, in my book... Keep up the awesome work. 😉😁🙂
This was so amazing! I think my favourite bit was that I could imagine so easily what they were discussing when their cameras connected - the elation at seeing each other the bewilderment of the situation they were stuck in and showing where they were, him making a bit of a funny story about it, and her about to explain when the explosion hit - communication with no words, that was cinematic genius, I could see it all in their movement!
Cool stuff, I enjoyed the aesthetic in this work. I like how the grit on the glass coming in and out of focus gave the impression of him breathing at 2:40
Wow, this is beautiful... By the far the most amazing brickfilm I've ever seen. Somehow, even though there isn't a word of dialogue in this, I connected to the characters more than I ever have before in a brickfilm...
This film is wonderful, rarely is a brickfilm ever this emotionally captivating. This is a beautifully-directed film, every element of it comes together to keep the viewer invested from start to finish. In particular, your use of sound is exquisite - you know just the right times to use sound effects or simply let the music carry the story (and props to Guy Commanderson as well, the score is excellent).
+MindGame Studios Thank you for your kind words, MindGame! I'm glad you enjoyed it. And yes, I cannot say thanks enough to Guy for the awesome score. Without him, the film surely would not have been the same.
The cinematography is amazing, inspiring and really captures the moment better than words ever could. The storyline is touching and I love it. I hope you make a sequel.
That was AWESOME! I really enjoyed this film because it didn't even need any dialogue to tell the story. The music really fit the feeling that this brickfilm gave. That explosion shocked me for a second because I really didn't expect that from such a peaceful mood in the beginning. The bokeh effect really captured a space-like look. Keep up the awesome work and God bless!
I couldn't wait until September first to see another great brickfilm, but fortunately I didn't have to! :D I mean, classic space stuff alone is pretty great, but combined with wordlessness, great lighting, good animating, original score, glowing rock things, and Jesus Christ, this is downright fantastic.
I agree, it's great to see awesome stop motions like this. I also think it's awesome that your a Christian and that none of your content is inappropriate in any way. Good job man!
+Pongowl Haha, good thing I uploaded it a day earlier than I said I would, I'd hate to see what might happen if you didn't see "another great brickfilm" before September first. ;) I'm glad you like the film.
This is a very well done brickfilm, Rioforce! Everything from the glowing crystals to the communication portals was executed perfectly. The sets also really added to the feeling of outer space. Keep up the great work and good luck for the Darkness & Light contest!
Yes!! On behalf of all art music fanatics I would like to thank you for being one of the few who recognize the brilliant emotive capacity of Rachmaninoff's preludes in creating a setting. Beautiful film with a well defined atmosphere and tone.
Ah, I'm so late replying, but thank you! You can thank Guy Commanderson (link in description) for thinking it up. He scored and found the music for this film. Honestly, I fell in love with the piece after I heard it once.
I haven't checked out much of the stuff you've made lately, but man. This is just beautiful. I applaud you for everything in this video. The music, the animation, simply beautiful. I haven't seen a video in a while that has this much emotion to it. Great job man.
This is my favourite Lego film ever, the time and effort put in to this is absolutely incredible , you have really inspired a young film maker like myself.I didn’t know this much emotions could come out of some plastic toys.thanks you for making this … 🥹
Wow. Just wow. I've been following your brickfilms for a while and I love them all, but this one is definatly the best. Amazing job man. And that music, wow. The feeling it gives just matches great! (especially at the intro where he's looking at the earth-miniature model) It all fits together. Really nice job!
+brick5492 I'm glad you like it, Brick! My goal was to create a nice film that flowed and all pieced together, and I'm glad you think I accomplished that. :)
This brickfilm is way more than incredible, it's just something that needs to be continued. Great lighting, animation, set, references, and ofcourse, the plot! Great job.
This is amazing. Everything from the sound design to the lighting was on point and you really captured the emotion of the story, a huge achievement given the medium. Great work!
Wow, that was great. Not many brickfilms have this much real emotion in them. You definitely deserved the win!
+Fancy Pants Thanks, Fancy Pants! I'm glad you felt the emotion I put into this film. :)
"real emotion".... What does that mean? Emotion is subjective so a thing can't have "real emotion" as emotions can't be real in the first place....
@@timewarpdrive77 Don't be a frog! :) You know what he "meant".
@@eliteskillstraining3879 No, I don't... emotion isn't something a thing can have or give... so...
@@timewarpdrive77 such a hater jeez what’s the point of arguing
So epic
Not one word and yet it still managed to tell more of a story than any movie produced by Hollywood.
On this day Five Years Ago this beautiful film was created
i always wanted to create a stop motion that was more than just a stop motion, something that contains feelings and deeper meaning with amazing cinematography
It’s like long-distance relationships...😣

I think the best part about this was the choice of characters and the timing of the music!
nearly 7 years later and it still stands as one of my favorite brickfilms!
This is a staple in the brickfilm community, the style and aesthetic are still amazing.
