I dont know what is scarier here, the sheer effectiveness of the phalanx systems, or the fact that they can move around wit unlimited ammo like some kind of super daleks
Exterrrrminaaaaaaaate!!
They really upgraded since the last time they ran into the Doctor...
I was looking for this comment 😂
I didn't expect them to be moving lmao
@@brairag5744
Dalek: what if i just dont stop shooting?
Doctor: i cant believe you've done this.
I just made a comment comparing them to R2D2, but the Daley comparison is FAR more apropos. Well done.
"A walking phalanx CIWS"
DOD: write that down! *WRITE THAT DOWN!*
The real problem is the 1500 round capacity of the PHALANX CIWS and the 3000 round per minute rate of fire, in other words you'd run out of ammo in 30 seconds.
Snake: "*chuckles * infinite ammo."😂
They had a 4th dimensional bullet chain
Even shorter...lol 4500rpm which is Block 2
So 2 million zombies and the ammo capacity is what bothers you?....lol
@@mac11380 lol yep
A CWIS on a Segway is a terrifying concept
The fact that the Phalanx charges just screams "MERICA!!!"😂😂😂
Just remember, every bullet you "see" from a CIWS is actually the 5th bullet - there are 4 bullets between each tracer.
Not to mention each round would take out a dozen zombies. Paint them black and they could be Darleks!
The dilemma with this is with penatration. I don't really know if there is a way to accurately quantify how many human like objects a round from the Phalanx will tear through. If you go by what the Navy has claimed a Sabot round would go right through fifty "zombies" before measurable round deformation or deceleration. The CIWS would perform even better than this example, and that's scary
Yeah, and that bullet arc is ridiculous too. Would be better to let then get a bit closer, unlike standard flying military targets.
I was just thinking this - it is a bloody 20mm round so it would tear through rotting zombie flesh like… well, I have no comparison, but it would be devastating.
Just imagine how deafening all those Phalanxes firing at the same time would be in real life, considering how loud a real one is.
They would look Epic
В реальной жизни их бы на долго не хватило,и бк быкончился быстро и если такими длинными очередями стрелять стволы бы быстро пришли в негодность
Phalanx sounds like a fart with a muffler.
@@kirkmartin4552 Probably the most appropriate description of the Holy BRRRT I've ever read.
You misspelled orgasmic
The guns needed to fall back not move towards the zombies. Distance was their advantage
When the zombies are more in numbers the guns would have automatically fall back but this time the scenario was opposite the zombies were scattered in the area, thats why the guns were on the move to locate them and tackle them.
@@GreekyRival Right, which is why they actually lost units. Can they be programmed to be defensive only? They wouldn't have lost a single unit if they were fixed. Or at least, much fewer than 11.
And they should've spread out the fire. Going for areas instead of individual targets.
A line abreast formation would have been incredibly effective
I like the fact that unlike when you put human combatants with M4s or Thompson guns into the fight, these machines don’t spray 50% of their shots ineffectively over the heads of their opponents.
Good to see something that's actually fun to see on UA-cam. They look a bit like Daleks. Thanks.
Thanks for watching ❤️
Exterminate......
EXTERMINATE!
Exterminate

Lastly, I need to say that the subtle detail-at the very end-when you could hear the CIWS wheels rolling through the gelatinous pulp of blood and shredded fleas on the ground was a lovely coup de grace…*chef’s kiss*.
Was not expecting the canon to advance, lol - like watching a skirmish line of Super-Daleks. Cool.
If there were 2,000,000 zombies why only 500,000 kills? Did the other 1,500,000 run off of a cliff somewhere?
they remember that is not what they signed up for and went back home to their families
The others died of grief over their comrades!
According to WIki, Phalanx has 1550 rounds in it's magazine and the reload time is about 4 minutes. So 100 of them can shoot only 155,000 rounds in 4 minutes.
If we spend a round per zombie we will need 12.9 magazines to fire 2 million rounds (lets round it up to 13), it will take 12 reloads. Each mag can be fires in less then 21 seconds at rate of 75 fires per second. It's going to take (12 reloads x 4 min) 48 minutes of reload time and approximately (13 fires 21 sec long) 273 second or near 5 minutes of total fire time which will take 53 minutes to kill all those zombies.
In this simulation, where bunch of Phalanxes are firing at the same spot for a long period of time, this will last for much longer I assume.
I assume to fight zombies effectively you'd need x 13 times more Phalanxes to kill all the zombies using only one mag, which is 1290 units, and the fire is likely has to be very evenly distributed.
good point, but.... a 20mm round will penetrate multiple zombies.... ? 10-15?? or so.........
@@benv5812 That's absolutely right. However some rounds will miss or few round will hit the same target. Obviously I can't even closely come up with an algorithm how to calculate this ratio, as such I averaged this to one round per one zombie. Of course this is likely not accurate.
@@AlSlonex123 Worse. You can see in the video that many if not most of the bursts are fired in ballistic arcs, not on flat trajectoires. Most bullets will likely only hit one or two zombies before hitting the ground. Worse still, since the bullets are fired in bursts, any Zombie hit is likely getting hit by multiple bullets from the same burst.
I like how people are calcuating the hypothetical effectiveness of a none existant scenario that could never happen.
@@blackarts8876we'll remind you of these words when the day comes 😆🤣🥺
Finally forces of good brought peace and democracy to this barbarian land.

Strangely sounds like centurions battling, shields clashing against swords...
War never changes.
ua-cam.com/channels/P69nmEb3ngCVCjqVTCkfuw.html
there is something oddly satisfying about watching CIWS mounts move around the map like Daleks from Dr Who, lol
ua-cam.com/channels/P69nmEb3ngCVCjqVTCkfuw.html
The one thing that is not portrayed is how the zombie bodies would pile up into walls and slow the charge to a crawl very quickly
You have to allow for the fact that a CIWS round isn't going to be one shot one kill. They are big and powerful enough to go through at least several zombies per bullet.
Sort of a moving shish kebab
They'd be more effective if they had better AI and weren't shooting at zombies a mile away instead of the ones right in front of them.
По последним статистическим данным в России до 120 миллионов зомби. Но цивилизация развилась настолько, что не станет их уничтожать. Цивилизация желает их излечить. Это выполнимая задача или нет? - вопрос существования человечества.
ua-cam.com/channels/P69nmEb3ngCVCjqVTCkfuw.html
If the Daleks in ‘Dr WHO’ were like this, the Entire Dr Who Ethos would’ve been relegated to, at best, a 3-part Miniseries!🤷🏻♂️
This is one of my favourite weapon systems, despite the prohibitive limits on its magazine capacity. For the few seconds during which they can operate, they can independently target and unleash absolute hell.
I will emit, though, that putting the on wheels like R2D2 was both kind of cute, but also a wee bit goofy.
Movable ✔️
Infinite ammo ✔️
No overheat ✔️
Well that's an op phalanx 😂
The only thing missing from this battle was that song called Fiatagata Gotcha! by The Moon Roses...and the super daleks spinning around to it....hahaha 🌙🌹😎
Having to manually reload the auto-cannons is a popular punishment on Navy ships
this World War Z sequel is awesome!
The barrels would have turned to a molten mess of metal half way through that🤣

You know when spend too much time on YT, when I almost pressed "K To Start Battle".🤣😂😆
The Battle of the Somme, only less mud.
Visual: guns cutting down zombies
Audio: medieval battle with swords clashing
Me: *visible confusion*
Will be much better in coming uploads
I’ll never upset a Roomba ever again 😂
This is how the southern us border should be secured.
CIWS/ Daleks, I thought I was tripping when they started moving around.
Same! I was like, dang they can move? Then I started wondering why they didn't fall back and use the distance as an advantage
HAHAHA they have wheels on them and are remotely controlled
You might as well have renamed this battle simulator: 2 million California sanctuary city dwellers against plain old common sense.
Would love to see this using Directed Energy Weapons in CWIS to evaluate the potential for unlimited ammo. Then we can discuss energy sources and power storage to support individual CWIS units or a collective.
Am I the only one who watches this and thinks…this would be a cool way to end a zombie apocalypse movie. Where humanity has its last stand at a base protected by the phalanx’s and other weapons.
Indeed this is how to wipe out zombiessss
12:48 🤣 *LMAO The fixed placement advancing toward the target…*
It's a good thing the phlaxees had enough ammo. Just goes to show that 90% of the battle is planning ahead, and supplying each phlanxist all that he/she/it would need.
I didn't realize they could move ha, that's hilarious. We need one of these for the house in a real zombie apololype, or rather if you live in a far left city who legalized fentynl.
Finally an effective solution to the border crisis. Lets fund this ASAP.
The little men controlling the Phalanx from the inside must have been terrified
... or maybe not
im sorry, i lost it when i saw the CIWS move around like f###ing R2-D2
The phalanx moving around looks like r2d2 of he took steroids 💀
I love how each unit became A DALEK.
NASA called, they want there PC back
😂
I'm relieved to know I'm not the only person who has imagined really stepping outside the ROE with a CWIS
Автор, ты бы на них еще атомную бомбу скинул. Все очень предсказуемо. Даже 100 миллионов зомби не прорвутся через 100 турелей
As someone who has seen a live fire of these, this is exactly the video I want to see!
Those zombies look suspiciously like War boys. 😜
This would work if you got John Carpenter to direct the video. His heroes never run out of bullets.
Or you could equip the ammo boxes with Starfleet replicators generating infinite ammunition.
i will use him in upcomming videos to take on 10 million zombies
If you can create 2 million zombies, then why not? :-D
ua-cam.com/channels/P69nmEb3ngCVCjqVTCkfuw.html
I think they're on to something here with making them mobile. Maybe next time Star Wars can upgrade their character to R2-CIW.
The zombies are so darn fast that usually any hole blown in their ranks instantly fills in again. The phalanxes are the only thing I've seen so far that have devastating enough firepower to actually thin out their ranks.
Oddly, the Zombies were in a Phalanx formation: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phalanx
The outcome was obvious. As long as the PHALANX CIWS didn't overheat or have barrel failures. No fleshy mob could overrun them. It fires 20mm (more than 3/4 inch wide) shells that would rip multiple rows of bodies into pieces. I would have left them stationary though, just to be fair.
Next, please give us one hundred GAU-8 Avengers vs ..One million monsters, I doubt the opponent even matters against the mighty 30mm cannon with alternating armour piercing and explosive / incendiary rounds.
I love these videos.
used to work on these. Manual mode only, no radar guided fire. About 30 seconds before running out of ammo and overheating. Designed to shoot a missile or two, not thousands of zombies. And not as loud as you would think.
By manual mode you mean surface mode. You’d want to utilize burst fire realistically which would net accuracy and time between reloads.
Just imagine your spying on a Phalanx CIWS then you see it's walking towards you 😂😂
Wow That leaves a hell of a lot of Zombie orphans
indeed
LOL this is what an encounter with the Daleks in Doctor Who should look like.

1000,000,000,000,09 PHALANX CIWS vs 1000,000,000 MILLION ZOMBIES | Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator 4 | UEBS 4
I'm probably a monster for seeing this and thinking "a lot of wasted fire there, the CWIS should have coordinated fire to create a semicircular wall of zombie corpses a few hundred yards away, then just let the zombies in the back crush the ones in front against it and then just pick off any zombies that stumble over the top of the corpse wall"
That’s my point exactly
Super I watched all your video I is very good keep going on i subscribed
Thanks for watching ❤️
Means alot❤️
This simulation demonstrates a concept I learned from an environmental science professor in college. He called it the "Mayonnaise Jar Analogy", which says that you will likely use 97% of your resources (time, money, effort, etc.) accomplishing the last 3% of your ideal goal. He introduced it in a discussion of environmental cleanup, but it applies to most other endeavors as well.
An increase of the commonly accepted Pareto principle or 80/20 in short.
You need 20% of your time to make 80% result. And the 80% to get the remaining 20%. Seems more realistic to me than 97/3
ua-cam.com/channels/P69nmEb3ngCVCjqVTCkfuw.html
I told my brothers a while back you should do one with C-RAMS and zombies.....AND YOU ACTUALLY DID!!!!!😂😂😂
This is how your grow grass in the desert!
1:20. We need main theme from " Inception" here...
Problem and solution:
A ciws Carrie’s a 1500 round capacity but fires at 3k rpm. AKA, it runs out of ammunition in 40s.
However, the ciws is t made for sustained fire. It’s a last defence in a layered anti-missile system made to take out only a single or couple missiles at a time with a few second long burst. If you added the other defenses it would more than equate to this carnage.
40 seconds? You mean 30?
Should split positioning of guns defilade and enfilade for more effective and mutual supporting fire and a lethal killing zone.
Those are the meanest Daleks I've ever seen.
"You have declared war upon the Cybermen."
"This is not war. This is pest control."
"We have five million Cybermen. How many are you?"
"Four." . . .
"You would destroy the cybermen with four daleks?"
"We would destroy the cybermen with ONE dalek!"
Wear Palm Tree Armor, it’s obviously OP.
At that fire rate and duration those barrels could provide enough heat energy to power a small city lol 😅
Well that's about the most violent thing I've seen all year
One of the most extraordinary things I've ever witnessed 😍
The math professor: So, how many rounds did it take to kill all zombies? Have 5 minutes to answer
Let's say these are Block 2 Phalanx and therefore have a fire rate of 4500 rpm
The engagement lasted for 18 minutes, but with periods of not firing, we could say each CIWS was firing for 85% of that time, so 15.3 minutes for ease of math, we will round this down to 15
4500 rpm x the 15 minutes gives us 67,500 rounds for one CIWS
We then times that by the 100 CIWS and we get 6,750,000
This all big handful maths because it requires all the guns to fire for exactly the same amount of time, with a equal load shared amongst them and doesn't take any CIWS losses into account
Cool, it's those really fast Kingdom or Train to Busan style zombies and not the awkward sluggish ones.
Yo…we had a CIWS on my ship (USS Robert E Peary)back in the early 90s and that thing was wild. When it fired it sounded like a buzz (BZZZZZZZZZZZ) . That thing was cool as hell.
Now i want to see A 10s v Phalankses. 😮
It would be nice if the ASU's could hold that much ammo .....
Finally, a real solution for the southern border. Thank you.
TOTALLY
"Ex-ter-min-ate! Ex-ter-min-ate!"
Oh look, a zombie airliner.
I hope it doesn't come down to humanity needing to launch a D day type attack like this on A.I.
Meanwhile in real life The Phalanxes would overheat and jam firing that long barrages. 🤭
Эта игра не перестаёт удивлять (ну или движок игры), столько юнитов и всё работает.
Epic :D Changed from fps to fpm :D
Surely if you were a member of the Zombie army, the sensible thing to do would be to lie down and pretend you were dead😂 And then get up and attack the phalanx guns from behind
once they have advanced 😀
Hahah
Those are some tough trees and buildings.
props to the cameraman for not getting eaten. or shot. well done 👏
Haha
Great for home security! 😊
His computer begging for mercy...
I sent wave after wave of my men until the killbots reached their preset kill limits and shut down.
CIWS 20mm Vulcan Daleks on steroids with unlimited ammo, sign em up for Dr Who NOW!
No palm tree was harmed in the making of this vid.
Aside from the olympic runner zombies, I did not know the DoD made dalek phalanxs
All I'm hearing the CWIS say is "GET SOME!!!!!!!!" over and over and over again XD XD XD
CIWS actual firing capability is only for 8 seconds. It fire burst of rounds in quick intervals
Like katyusha with infinite ammo💀
This is the type of stuff you send someone with no comment or explanation..................
