I might be thinking too deeply into this, but I'm wondering what kind of situation would lead to this many people running into a deadly threat even after seeing thousands of their people get swatted away by a shockwave of immeasurable force from that threat. It'd be like if people just Usian Bolt'd towards a wave of nukes
