I'm a very recent subscriber. I have been battling chronic mental health for 2 years as a mother of 3 and a full time uni student. I have literally BINGE watched your videos over the last few days and have managed to write a list of games I can NOT wait to play. As silly as it may sound, my Nintendo switch has been a complete life saver for me. The way it mellows me out and allows me to get completely lost in the games from the comfort of my bed, it has been incredibly helpful to my mental health. I've been looking for new games for a while but haven't managed to find anything to my liking. You have such a fun personality and you explain the games by answering all the questions I would normally have about them. Just thank you.
@Duman Family I feel like I could have written this myself ❤️ Nintendo switch games have been my escape as well! Eeowna always has the best recommendations 😊
Gaming is such a wonderful lifeline for re-engaging and feeling a sense of control and progress. It can be used for both stress relief and I even find it motivating as a reward when I take tiny steps to move forward IRL. I am right there with you.
Animal Crossing’s release time was literally perfect. I think they benefited greatly from that. I knew people who were playing it that wouldn’t have normally.
I always look forward to these videos! I personally LOVE long videos like this too, it gives the opportunity to hear just a little bit more about the game! Whilst also seeing the passion you have behind a lot of these games! :D ♥
You're such a fun person to hear talk about games! Thanks for making these lists and talking about all types of games! I've been debating between getting fire emblem 3 houses or octopath traveler on my next paycheck and your videos have helped me try and make that decision.
I could be wrong, but I think she was just listing games she played on the SWITCH. I've heard her talk about a lot of other games that she plays on the PC and I'm guessing Spiritfarer is one since it came out on PC first.
Ok your thoughts on Stardew is spot on. I am a newer gamer and SV made me put my switch down because it’s way more complex than it appears on the surface (w/o the wiki, I didn’t know and am heading there after this video). Thank you for all your reviews!
Reposting from another comment thread, but the only reason I was able to enjoy SV as someone who’d never played any HM/SoS games before was because one of my best friends had played it through a couple times, and I asked him questions literally every time I played 😅 The wiki helped a lot, but sometimes I didn’t even know what I needed to search to find what I was looking for so having a friend who knew the game was a life saver!
Looking at how many games you are ranking, and how much I've played on my switch... I realize I really haven't lived nearly as much Nintendo switch as I could have!! It reminds me just how many of my switch games I actually bought because of you! Slowly getting my to live my best Nintendo life!
This was a great selection of games, I love that they spanned a ton of genres! If only I could go back in time and tell 16 year old me that it's ok that I'm not good at League of Legends, and there are going to be a bunch of games I discover that don't make me stressed and sweaty that I actually enjoy 😂
It is so nice to find someone else who loves harvestella. I played the demo first and got through it in a binge-worthy fashion. Then I bought the cartridge and it is the only game I have played since.
I love the comment about stardew valley because that is exactly what happened to me! I love Acnh and have played Mario and mortal kombat that I was recommended stardew and was completely overwhelmed. Thankfully I got it on sale, but I may or may not ever play it again unless I get better direction and possibly motivation to play that game. I will say you , Peyton, and Kennedy are my main source of go to content for games! I really do have got quite a collection now and I love watching your videos always good vibes!!Keep up the great work 😊
i was so confused playing stardew for the first time after everyone hyped it up so hard that i never picked it up again.. good to know i should read the wiki
Yeah you should. I was the same, didn't touch it again for like 6 months until i watched a youtube video. Once you get through the initial slump its fun. You can pick it up whenever. Now its my one of my favourite games.
I found this account when I started looking into DDLV and I’ve since bought the following games because of your rec: Beacon Pines, Ooblets, No Man’s Sky, Persona 5 Royal, Cult of the Lamb, Jenny LeClue, Ni No Kuni, Cozy Grove, and my first Pokémon game (Violet). I’ve got a huge backlog of games now, but I’m definitely getting xenoblade chronicles 3 and fire emblem three houses next!
I love the way you talk about games, it makes me excited about playin and I’m a pretty recent gamer! I’m shocked that pikmin was not in your list it’s such a fun gameee admittedly it’s pretty short but imo it’s worth it but then again it could have easily been an old game and I just found out about it so don’t worry about me. Can’t wait to try some of the games you mentionedd~
Totally agree that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Persona 5 Royal are S tiers!! They were my favorite games last year. I am so excited for Persona 3 and 4 that are coming out this month.
I’m new to switch And literally everyone told me to get StardewValley…it crushed my spirits with how difficult it could be at times. Pokemon was a mixed bag on switch. My favourites were Let’s Go Eevee and BDSP. I didn’t get far in sword and shield because once I got to that big wild area I couldn’t get through it without losing my entire because all the high level stuff would chased me. Arceus made me too anxious cause I couldn’t cope with being attacked and couldn’t remember to roll out of the way in time. My reflexes are so slow, lol. I have yet to get Scarlett or Violet because of the bugs but did read an article saying that an update is coming in late February. And I wanted to love Snap because it was a game cube staple for me but getting “good pictures” could get repetitive and frustrating.
I found myself feeling really frustrated and confused playing Stardew Valley and this totally validates those feelings. I only played a few times and did not enjoy it because I couldn’t figure out how to do really anything. I was hoping it would be more intuitive. Deff gonna have to try Ooblets!
I think the best tip about Stardew valley is to take it slow. It doesn't matter when you visit the mines the first time or how and when you make friends. Everything is revertible or can be done again (at least I don't remember anything else), I spent over four seasons just farming, because the rest overwhelmed me. But I played it via PC where you can just mod everything to your liking, that helps for the end game (you still can get a lot of time out of the vanilla version available on switch)
i think having played harvest moon as a child helps you navigate stardew valley when you play for the first time as you are already familiar with key mechanics.
@@audreyl606 I think so, too. I didn't, and I was soooo overwhelmed at first. (Until I decided to just go with what I want to do, and maybe start a new farm when I figured the game out. I didn't have to though:))
@@schimmelreiterin9937 ya so i grew up with thousands of hours in HM so when i started stardew I already understood the crop and animal mechanics as well as the mines even though the system is different. friendship-building is also similar with the heart events system, festivals, etc. i used the wiki from the start because this is what i was doing with HM as a kid anyway. i never felt lost but i agree it is overwhelming.
@@audreyl606 Overwhelming is a good word for it. I started playing Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons when I was a kid, so yeah definitely understood the basics and all. There's just so much to do that you can easily get lost. I have cognitive disabilities now that I'm older so can easily get overwhelmed with lots of things being thrown at me to do, I always have to remind myself I don't have to do it all at once 💜
Thank you for saying that about star dew valley! I am a new gamer and just got my switch for my bday this past Dec. I’ve discovered I love cozy games and someone recommended SDV after animal crossing. I played for like 4 hours and wanted to quit the console. But then a friend recommended wytchwood and cozy grove. Eventually I will go back to SDV. Love your channel!
I have to disagree! I love stardew. But stardew without mods? (On the switch) I can't rank that as high, it just doesn't feel as nice! Definitely still one of my favourite games, A tier with mods, A tier without!
@@xAlieWolfx i was thinking more as pc player, i guess on the switch is harder to play. but its one of the best games that totally revived an entire genre of gaming, also its without mods if you strive for perfection, its still an s tier game
Mario oddesy got me back to gaming on the switch because it’s open world Ian’s all the different controls are amazing I loved it but I can see why people wouldn’t like it as well because it is different from the original mario games great video tho I will be checking out some of your favorite games you chose for S and A tier!!🌟
I so wish I would have seen this before I purchased Mario Party for Christmas. My husband and I are both still baffled as to why that game is so popular. Great list, though. Thanks for going through all of these titles.
Loved this video I only got my switch for Christmas and stumbled across your channel when looking for recommendations. This video has really helped me have an idea what games to invest in hope splatoon 3 gets better as that’s the next one I wanna buy
I personally disagree with the Story of Seasons Pioneers of Olive Town placement. For me personally I absolutely loved it. It was my first game in the Story of Seasons franchise and it always feels like you’re working towards something whether it’s improving your tools/farm, developing the town, building relationships, completing task, etc. While I am currently taking a break from it (as I want to try out some other farming games like Littlewood) I know that when I pick it back up there will be something for me to do. Also I swear Pokémon did get an update after the day 1 patch, while not a lot it does seem to improve some issues
I like a lot of these games. I’m surprised you didn’t mention child of light. I’d recommended it for sure. It’s a really beautiful game with turn based battles. The music is incredible and the story is really good. One thing I really like about it is that the characters speak to each other in rhymes. ❤
Realized I missed seeing the background transformation stream, love seeing your plushies back behind you!! I definitely miss the newness of ACNH. I keep thinking about restarting again but, I know I will unfortunately fall out of it again quickly. I've played each version since GCN, just hope the next installment will bring back some of the charm of the older versions that I feel was lacking in NH. Cozy Grove quickly became my absolute favourite game of 2022, even with only starting it last month lol I wanted to love Entitled Goose Game but, just couldn't with the puzzles lol Will have to try again with a walkthrough. Totally valid. Absolutely love Cult of the Lamb, Ooblets, Lemon Cake, DDV, SDV, Potion Permit, Wylde Flowers, and SoS PoOT! Have Fire Emblem 3 Houses, Beacon Pines, Cat Cafe, Diablo(all of them though lol), No Man's Sky, Octopath, Dorfromantik, Aka, and DQ Treasures on the wishlist lol
Stardew Valley was my first game. I didn't really get into it until discovering the Wiki and some fantastic UA-camrs, but then WOW! I got Animal Crossing on launch and hated it. Recently picked it up again, but I don't have Nintendo Online, and even now it just isn't that fun. Grinding for items only to get another bidet, standing toilet, kimono holder... Stardew isn't my favorite game of all time, or anything, but it's one I still play regularly after years and years, which I think says something. Okay, yes, I play on PC and find the Switch controls too hard, but the mobile version is pretty good too.
I bought Beacon Pines because of you and I just wanna say thank you! I started playing it today and I’ve been playing for hours. I only put it down to write this comment hahaha.
Definitely adding some of these to my wishlist! Have you played any of the Nintendo Switch Online NES/SNES/N64/SEGA games? I'm sure I'm not the first, but if you like turn-based RPGs and a good story, definitely check out Earthbound on SNES. It's old, so the combat system is a little weird in the beginning, but once you get it, you get it.
Can I throw out a recommendation of my personal favorite game ever which is for the Sega Genesis? It's Shining Force 2 and it is on Nintendo Switch Online Sega as far as I'm aware. It's old (a year older than me personally from 94), but I've always found it to be a solid game. Story is a bit cliche, but I love it and wanted to recommend it. Earthbound is always fun!
I believe she either already has , or she said in a video she hasn’t played it because she has a family member who’s Ill and she just mentally doesn’t want to play it . I know she’s said the same for wyldeflowers.
Omg so true about Stardew. Lovely game, but not entry level at all! I say this as someone who has been playing all genres of games (including farm sims) for more than twenty years. It's honestly what I would consider an advanced farm sim. There's A LOT to it.
Also my brother got me Shin Megami Tensei V for Christmas so I have been playing that the last three weeks. I've played Persona games but never a mainline SMT game. I definitely prefer Persona, the stories and characters are more engaging for me in those. I also find the maps very confusing in this game but I do have cognitive difficulties so it might just be me.
Being a huge Mario fan I was also surprised by how underwhelmed I was with Odyssey, and surprised at how much I enjoyed Kirby and the Forgotten Land by comparison. The most recent game I played was the Link’s Awakening remake which was pretty awesome.
No Man's Sky has been greatest gift I've received. I have put hundreds of hours into game. It has helped pass the days for me. Grateful my son picked it up as an early Xmas gift.
Thank you for taking the time to create this list and share your thoughts. You have a new subscriber. A lot of these game I have played already, but there are a lot I still haven’t played yet because I am waiting on a good enough sale. I have a backlog of games between my Switch, Xbox One S, and PS4 😅. I bought my Switch in early January 2020 before I knew the pandemic was a thing and it helped me thru depression and seclusion and my anxiety. It still helps today when I am struggling. I love Super Mario Odyssey and Super Mario Party, Odyssey for the environment and gameplay, and SMP for the mini game and multiplayer aspect. My only gripe with Super Smash Bros was the exclusion of the target smash. I was imagining 5 levels of target smash for all characters, multiplayer target smash, and online mode. The possibilities, but Nintendo didn’t take advantage. I will buy Pokémon Scarlet or Violet when there’s a sale, but also when the bugs are fixed. I am really excited for Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Splatoon 3 as I’ve never played either.
I’m still mad we haven’t got a Mario kart for the switch and only got the Wii u one. No amount of dlc will make up for it being like 8 years without a new one. Also haven’t you played unpacking? I might be missing it but I don’t think it’s on this list.
I picked up both Potion Permit and Beacon Pines on your recommendation, and i don't regret either one! You've got good taste :) Such good taste that I'll let the low rank for Smash pass :P I'm excited to play all the cozy games releasing this year!!!
I loved watching you rank all those games, and I mostly agree with where you put them in the tier list. I'm surprised though that you haven't talked about Sky Children o f the Light. It is a phenomenal game, that I found thanks to you actually. Where would you put that game?
great ranking, the only one I'd disagree with would be the story of seasons pioneers of olive town (and that is only on my opinion, I'm glad you are able to say you don't much care for it). I would put it in at least c tier, but in actuality it is one of my favorite games. I am actually starting to play "Fire Emblem three houses" and I'm loving it so far, it is my first Fire Emblem game, I was never actually good at the other ones, so I am glad they gave an option to make it easier for the new players, the story so far is Phenomenal
The original Persona 5 is currently my favorite RPG of all time. I have started Royal but haven't gotten to play it much. If you enjoy the emotional, story-rich JRPGs, I'd love to hear what you think about GameCube generation JRPGs like Tales of Symphonia and Baten Kaitos which are also some of my favorites. Baten Kaitos has a unique for its time battle system with cards that you find in everyday life and through battles/experience. In terms of Switch games, Mario+Rabbids: Kingdom Battle is an S Game for me. It was my first turn based strategy game that I gave a try due to the low price plus its DLC expansion. I loved the story and humor and the battle system pushed me to try other games like Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Another game that you would probably like is Persona 5 Tactica which has a very similar battle system to Mario+Rabbids: Kingdom Battle.
Siralim Ultimate is my S tier game, although I wouldn't play it for the story. It is a monster collection game and it is so well done. I have sunk tons of time into it and haven't even scratched the surface of all the things that you can do.
You sound like me, most games I've played are the big games, but only in the last 5 years have I gotten into Indie games too (most on Steam). It's interesting even though most of my fav games came from other Consoles, I am still a loyal Nintendo fan and will always get a main console no matter what (not including handheld for I never liked the small screens. Only got a 3DS when Ocarina of Time got remastered on it lol). Yes, I even got the Wii U (and never had any complaints about it since it had backward capabilities since the Wii is still my fav Nintendo console to date, even more than the Switch). I've been a Nintendo fan since their NES days (yes I am old, I just turned 41) since I was a kid when Super Mario Bros came out lol. So I'll be curious to see how you rank these games. Sadly I haven't played that many since my budget is tight (and that's one reason why I got into Indie, they save on money lol). As far as my fav game on the Switch so far, ooff, that's actually hard for me since it's like a tie between Miitopia and Mario Odyssey. I do have a soft spot for Spiritfarer though and the game I've sunk the most hours in has been Animal Crossing New Horizons (which is NO surprise). Edit- *After watching the video* LOL, I only played Smash to play the single player mode and yeah I don't care if the game has so many chars and I do think it's probably one of the best multiplayer games of all time, being a mostly single player gamer myself, it just wasn't for me and the World of Light mode lacked the charm that Subspace Emissary from Brawl had with all of the char interactions. For me, that's what makes Smash compelling, different chars from different games interacting. As for the "hype" of Mario, I can only speak as a life-long fan since I was there since the beginning. But I know if it wasn't for the franchise (being the first Super Mario Brothers game), there be no video games. It saved the video game industry from tanking. You had to be there, before there was XBox and PS, there was Nintendo (and Sega for a bit). It was our gaming world from the late 80s until the 2000s. And even when Xbox and PS came out, Nintendo had a strong loyal fanbase and the fact that it was family friendly was still huge, so that's why I think it's still popular and iconic. Mario IS the face of the video game industry, just like Mickey Mouse is the face of the Animation industry. I do recommend you try Spiritfarer at some point. I would consider it a cozy game and it's not too long. It combines exploration with 'farming sim' where you play as Stella and she basically meets different people who come to live on her boat and ferries them into the afterlife. You grow crops, build different rooms for the people who live there, craft and build different things. Each char has their own story and some get very deep. The game is an experience and I think you would enjoy it. It is an indie game and I don't remember it costing too much.
Love this video! So helpful to see your perspective, and I appreciate that you're honest about what kind of gamer you are or how you use the game (e.g., with family, to relax, don't care about completion goals, etc); and that helps me determine if I'd use or like it similarly or, if in fact, I'd like it more/less. And your editing and style of blending self-video and game demo shots is perfect. Thank you!
I also have a love hate relationship with mario oddyssey. I also get bored easily when i’m stuck (i’m currently stuck so i hvnt played it in months), but once i get one moon, i can’t stop playing it. I also hate the water world btw, i think it’s very hard I also agree with you for Stardew Valley, it’s definitely not for beginners. I was new in life-sim farming game like this and I kept seeing review about how good Stardew Valley is, so i bought it on pc. I just find it too hard and overwhelming that i stopped playing it after 2 weeks. However, later i got Animal Crossing and can’t stop playing it since
Been really getting into Dragon Quest Treasures a complete different experience from the main Dragon Quest series but I am loving it, the mindless game I needed to just vibe with
hello, new subscriber and very new gamer here! wondering if you have any videos or can do any videos for beginners? what games are good to start with etc.?
This was so much fun to watch and super interesting! I still can't get over FE Three Houses being cozy, but I love the fact that it is for you! My S-Tier Switch games are probably: Hollow Knight (I play it on both PC and Switch), FE Three Houses, and I will also give it to Pokemon Legends of Arceus. I don't play as much on my switch unless it's FE right now, but I did play a lot of Pokemon Legends of Arceus and it was the first Pokemon game I've played since Pokemon X and Y. Octopath Traveler and Breath of the Wild, might be S-tier if I play more of them, but I haven't. I have had Breath of the Wild since release and played it for awhile, before honestly getting bored personally. I hope I'll go back to it again at some point and give it another shot! Octopath Traveler I just need to sit down and play. It seems right up my alley. I also want to get Triangle Strategy at some point too! But I love strategy based RP games. Stardew Valley would easily be S-Tier, if I played it on the Switch haha. All my hours are on the PC and I love it. Super fun! If I was doing an S-Tier list for my PC games it would take me *a lot* longer to figure out... Well outside of Hollow Knight (one of my favorite games ever), Dragon Age Inquisition, and Our Life: Beginning and Always. But there would definitely be more on my PC! Can't wait to continue seeing what other cozy games you recommend! I've been enjoying that a lot!
Your makeup always looks cool but I love your eyeshadow in this video! What is the eyeshadow called? In my free time if I’m not playing my switch, I’m playin with makeup, hahaha!
Early! Woohoo! Love seeing some lists especially since im new to the switch!! what would you guys recommend a total beginner? I have BOTW, animal crossing, Pokemon violet and Ori
Those are perfect games! If you have friends/family to play with, you should get Mario Party Superstars. If you want to sink tons of hours into a cozy game, go for Disney Dreamlight Valley! I know it has bugs, but it’s getting better and is soooo much fun!!
I really need to play Harvestella just because i love Rune Factory and especially Rune Factory 4 so much and Harvestella is basically Square Enixs Rune Factory.
Try Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge if you haven't yet. It's a beat 'em up that's an homage to 90's arcade games, but it's pretty fun (it's possible to play with others or single-player mode and to die, but it just has you start right back at where you did); more fun than Hyrule Warriors: of Calamity.
fire emblem 3 houses, persona 5 royal and octopath are my favorite switch games. I finished fire emblem engage yesterday and started my 2nd playtrough and then I started the octopath 2 demo today aswell what a time ^-^
As someone you came to this video via recommended, I feel like you could have spent more time selling me on some the indie games you liked than on describing the AAA games myself and others are all likely to be more aware of. Your thoughts were well presented enough that I suppose that's a bit of incentive to check out more of your videos when I have the time to, since you did mention already having covered a lot of the stuff you didn't elaborate on here more, but it was the one down point I could think of in this video that kept it out of S-tier itself.
My whole channel is almost entirely indie games, so this is a bit of a different video, as a lot of people were asking my opinion on AAA Nintendo titles 😊 any of my previous videos will have a tonne of indies to check out

As much as the splatoon one hurts me it is true. I love the game and your placement hurt but when I hear you it made sense because thats how it was for me at the start sadge
You NEED to play Dragon Quest XI S! It is cosy in the sense that the combat isn't taxing (easier than Xenoblade) and the characters, voice acting, and story is incredible!
Cool, didn’t save any big S ones til last, just recently played. Loved Monkey Island. Does Diablo 3 have an invincibility mode? Always looking for games, especially hack and slash where I can run through with little chance of being wounded. Lego Star Wars actually was brilliant
@@djoneill5645 I played I think a demo of it on game pass and it was so good ! Definitely recommend the marvel superhero ones, not so much the avengers one, and the hobbit ! That one was pretty, I love they are 2 players too !
I think I would agree with you on the placements of all the games I have played that are in this list too. Even Super Mario Odyssey, though I haven't played it enough to give it a fair rating tbh. But I bought it way back when I first got my Switch, along with Breath of the Wild. Those were the only games I had for a very long time after that, and Breath of the Wild totally consumed me, while in contrast I played Odyssey for an hour and then put it down and forgot about it for like a year or more. I tried a couple more times to get into it, but I just wasn't feeling it. Maybe I reached my quota of Mario games as a kid, because I just never feel like playing them anymore and I don't know why. The same thing happened years ago with Pokemon games, until Arceus was released and I finally wanted to play a Pokemon game again. Haven't tried Sword/Shield or Scarlet/Violet though.
You've literally started with my two most played games on the Switch. ACNH at nearly 900 hours, and FETH with more or less 1100 hours. ❤️ -edit- If I may correct at 4:05 you've said "Fire Emblem Warriors" and you were referring to 'Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes'. This may cause a confusion because there is an actual game on the Switch with the name 'Fire Emblem Warriors' just "Fire Emblem Warriors". It was the first one that they did I believe way back 2018(17?) If I'm not mistaken. You may just call it simply Three Hopes as the majority of the Fire Emblem community calls is. Anyway, the first Fire Emblem Warriors was a lot more fun to play despite its lacking story in comparison to Three Hopes, at least in my humble opinion. I share almost the same sentiments with your view of Three Hopes, despite me playing a whole lot of Three Houses.
Did you play Little Misfortune?? How about Last Campfire? Gardens Between? Arise: A Simple Story? Brothers? New Super Lucky’s Tale? Toad Treasure Tracker? Paper Mario? I highly recommend all of those, but if you played any of them, would love to hear your opinion, review
Have to agree about Mario Golf. Was SO disappointed. You make me wonder if I should try Aka again. It was so frustrating. My favorite game right now is Wytchwood. Just SO good!
@@LaurelPauling yeah I can't quite bring myself to start it again. I'm also confused by trying Lost Dream Stars and the game just . . . ending but I didn't really do anything in the game? I'm SO confused.
I agree with your ratings of both three houses and fe warriors. I loved fire emblem before three houses but like three houses was incredible and I wanted to love warriors but it isn’t worth the full price.
Such a great list and like you I definitely put mario strikers bottom, it's shocking how bad that game is. Only played it a couple of times when it came out and its my biggest regret as not touched it since. I was surprised but not surprised about pokemon scarlet as I have myself now finally found a wierd glitch when driving my pokemon through the fields it jutters really bad. But I love it even tho I've only had it a few days I've already played over 40 hours 😲 its so much fun.
I love Nintendo but they are so expensive, without the xbox streaming i would not have been able to play half the games i played, many games are for free or a few bucks on other platforms and still full prized on nintendo -.- Still loved your video tho! ❤️
Look up WHITE THORN GAMES. Its a game company located in my hometown of Erie, PA USA and they specialize in cozy games like CALICO etc... They are developing a game called WhaleFall currently and it looks incredible and right up your alley!!!
I am fellow chronic illness gal (eds and chronic fatigue)! And that's exactly why I love the switch too!
@Duman Family I feel like I could have written this myself ❤️ Nintendo switch games have been my escape as well! Eeowna always has the best recommendations 😊
I struggle with chronic Lyme which comes with mental health problems so I feel you! Praying that you get better.❤️🩹 😢

I hope you get better good luck
Animal Crossing’s release time was literally perfect. I think they benefited greatly from that. I knew people who were playing it that wouldn’t have normally.
It's great as now hopefully even more effort will be put into the next one too!
I always look forward to these videos! I personally LOVE long videos like this too, it gives the opportunity to hear just a little bit more about the game! Whilst also seeing the passion you have behind a lot of these games! :D ♥
I love far too many of them haha
Yay a new UA-cam video!!!! Love your content so much! Thank you for being you! And creating such a beautiful community
Thank you so much!!
You're such a fun person to hear talk about games! Thanks for making these lists and talking about all types of games! I've been debating between getting fire emblem 3 houses or octopath traveler on my next paycheck and your videos have helped me try and make that decision.
i was a little surprised spiritfarer wasn't on this list! it's one of those s tier games for me with the story and art, plus cozy gameplay
I could be wrong, but I think she was just listing games she played on the SWITCH. I've heard her talk about a lot of other games that she plays on the PC and I'm guessing Spiritfarer is one since it came out on PC first.
I thought the same! Spiritfarer made me fall in love with gaming. 100% S tier
Ok your thoughts on Stardew is spot on. I am a newer gamer and SV made me put my switch down because it’s way more complex than it appears on the surface (w/o the wiki, I didn’t know and am heading there after this video). Thank you for all your reviews!
There is nothing wrong with just going along with things your first playthrough then getting into the complexities on another farm! Don’t stress :)
Heyyy Eewona back
So happy for a new video
Indie games are the best
Thank you for recommending potions permit I absolutely love the game
Thank you for saying that about star dew valley! I am a new gamer and just got my switch for my bday this past Dec. I’ve discovered I love cozy games and someone recommended SDV after animal crossing. I played for like 4 hours and wanted to quit the console. But then a friend recommended wytchwood and cozy grove. Eventually I will go back to SDV. Love your channel!
Happy New Year! I hope it brings us a lot of nice things=) Love the video - ranks are always fun=)
You're so right about Stardew Valley. I've been gaming for years and I still struggled with it and didn't enjoy it. It needs to explain things better.
Stardew not being in s is a crime
I have to disagree! I love stardew. But stardew without mods? (On the switch) I can't rank that as high, it just doesn't feel as nice! Definitely still one of my favourite games, A tier with mods, A tier without!
@@xAlieWolfx i was thinking more as pc player, i guess on the switch is harder to play. but its one of the best games that totally revived an entire genre of gaming, also its without mods if you strive for perfection, its still an s tier game
You make me feel better, I had to use a walkthrough for untitled goose game too lol
You should try Wytchwood and Summer in Mara. I really loved that game and we seem to like similar games.
I was looking for this comment! I was gifted Summer in Mara and I loved it, that game is how I discovered my love for farming games
I literally shrieked when this popped up!! You are my fav you tuber and this video is gonna be amazing!
thank you so much!!
Mario oddesy got me back to gaming on the switch because it’s open world Ian’s all the different controls are amazing I loved it but I can see why people wouldn’t like it as well because it is different from the original mario games great video tho I will be checking out some of your favorite games you chose for S and A tier!!🌟
i cant believe how much ur channel has grown omg i remember when u had 50 subscribers omggg😭😭
thank you!
I’ve been wanting to make a tier list like this! I love seeing other peoples opinions great video!
Cozy Grove quickly became my absolute favourite game of 2022, even with only starting it last month lol
I wanted to love Entitled Goose Game but, just couldn't with the puzzles lol Will have to try again with a walkthrough.
I'm so glad I found your channel! Your videos are just as cozy as the the games you talk about! PS I'm a chemist too 🥰
I bought Beacon Pines because of you and I just wanna say thank you! I started playing it today and I’ve been playing for hours. I only put it down to write this comment hahaha.
I just love these kind of videos because I get to know what to buy next :p
Bought fire emblem on your recommendation and now it’s one of my FAVOURITE games of all time ❤❤!
@@crimsonfoxwing1970 Thanks for th rec, I'll check it out 🙂
You absolutely must play Spiritfarer. It's wonderful and oh, yes, it will very definitely make you cry.
I believe she either already has , or she said in a video she hasn’t played it because she has a family member who’s Ill and she just mentally doesn’t want to play it . I know she’s said the same for wyldeflowers.
@@BubblyAlexandra Ahhhh yeah that's understandable. It's definitely not the right game for someone currently dealing with the issues it addresses.
I also find the maps very confusing in this game but I do have cognitive difficulties so it might just be me.
animal crossing is probably a game anyone should get when getting their first switch! Absolutely amazing game
I have to say I have just found you and I really enjoyed this video,as a man who loves rpgs I’m glad to see your thoughts on them, subscribed :)
Really awesome video!
I also hate the water world btw, i think it’s very hard
I also agree with you for Stardew Valley, it’s definitely not for beginners. I was new in life-sim farming game like this and I kept seeing review about how good Stardew Valley is, so i bought it on pc. I just find it too hard and overwhelming that i stopped playing it after 2 weeks. However, later i got Animal Crossing and can’t stop playing it since
Been really getting into Dragon Quest Treasures a complete different experience from the main Dragon Quest series but I am loving it, the mindless game I needed to just vibe with
it wasn't what I expected but in a great way!
Nice ranking queen, some games triggered me, but in general I liked your choices
hello, new subscriber and very new gamer here! wondering if you have any videos or can do any videos for beginners? what games are good to start with etc.?
Oh and Potion Permit and Beacon Pines are on my to buy list at some point! :)
Stardew Valley not being S tier hurt me lol. It’s def in my S tier. 😋
I second dream light valley !
I really need to play Harvestella just because i love Rune Factory and especially Rune Factory 4 so much and Harvestella is basically Square Enixs Rune Factory.
Its so creepy that we have simmilar taste😂 except that i also love tactics games😳
I finished fire emblem engage yesterday and started my 2nd playtrough and then I started the octopath 2 demo today aswell what a time ^-^
Need to give some of these a try!
My whole channel is almost entirely indie games, so this is a bit of a different video, as a lot of people were asking my opinion on AAA Nintendo titles 😊 any of my previous videos will have a tonne of indies to check out
@@Eeowna Did enjoy that you were very open about you preference biases and such, being very informative on how they effected your rankings.

Thank you for this. At least I have an idea what I would like and if the game is worth the money C:
You NEED to play Dragon Quest XI S! It is cosy in the sense that the combat isn't taxing (easier than Xenoblade) and the characters, voice acting, and story is incredible!
Have you played Rune Factory 4? It’s my favorite game lately ❤️
the optimal way to play three hopes: buy engage and buy a social sim on steam
Cool, didn’t save any big S ones til last, just recently played.
Loved Monkey Island.
Does Diablo 3 have an invincibility mode?
Always looking for games, especially hack and slash where I can run through with little chance of being wounded.
Lego Star Wars actually was brilliant
Oh my goodness yes ! The Lego games are awesome I love Lego marvel superheroes 1 and 2
@@jazz5842 and they’re funny, easy and stress free.
Skywalker Saga probably most addictive game I’ve played in years

You’re like my go to switch game recommender 😭
-edit-
If I may correct at 4:05 you've said "Fire Emblem Warriors" and you were referring to 'Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes'.
Super Mario Odyssey is an S tier for me 100%.
Have you tried Eastward? It has a bit of combat, puzzles and a cute story.
Maybe check it out when it’s on sale?
I just started playing xenoblade chronicles 3, love it!
I couldn’t believe my eyes when you put Mario Odyssey in B and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 in S.
That’s the wonderful thing about games! No two people have the exact same opinion 😊
@@Eeowna There’s just no way Xenoblade Chronicles 2’s performance would allow me to put it any higher than B tier. It was unplayable honestly. 😂
Interesting tier list. Lol, to say that it's controversial would be an understatement, but I respect that it's personal to you.
I think Ori should be S tier. Beautiful graphics, beautiful story, and I enjoyed the gameplay
you are so valid, i am terrible at gaming but love it. that does, however, make me dislike a lot of games 😂
I gave up on Aka after a couple days when the game wouldn’t stop crashing! Trying to decide if it’s worth it to try again or not.
@@LaurelPauling yeah I can't quite bring myself to start it again. I'm also confused by trying Lost Dream Stars and the game just . . . ending but I didn't really do anything in the game? I'm SO confused.
….. …. 50+ games eeowna your going to make me so so broke
this wasn't even all of them either!
I don't see Luigi's mansion 3 there you should definitely try it
I agree with your ratings of both three houses and fe warriors.
Have you played Autonauts? It looks like a cosy switch game.
i was on the fence about wavetale. but now I think I'm gonna give it a try. as I love a good cozy platformer .
Look up WHITE THORN GAMES. Its a game company located in my hometown of Erie, PA USA and they specialize in cozy games like CALICO etc... They are developing a game called WhaleFall currently and it looks incredible and right up your alley!!!
love your tier list. stardew valley is more comparable to story of the season and harvest moon. never understand why people compare SV to AC
Bro threw splatoon 3 and smash ultimate in c tier and innocently smiles about it 💀
Breh also Mario odyssey in b tier
(Just a joke don’t get offended and have a nice daiii)
i think you should try summer in mara personally i loved the game
Fire emblem 3 houses is it worth getting the expansion pack?
Personally I’m not so sure, but that’s mainly because by the time it came out I was long finished with the story
