Tsuruya was always my favorite! She's funny, energetic, a loyal friend, always tries to keep things positive. Haruhi-too selfish and bossy Mikuru-total airhead Yuki-cute pixie cut, but a bit 1 dimensional Ryoko-not into bad/evil characters Imari & Mori-san-not enough development.
Always loved her. Also, manga spoilers: Tsuruya is actually an important character. Her family is actually supporting The Organization and she herself is aware of Mikuru, Nagato and Koizumi's true natures.
@@Deivi_Souza The novel goes beyond the film's story. Right now Kyon and Haruhi are 2nd year students and Mikuru is a 3rd year student. I recommend checking it! The manga also goes on for a while but it ended back in 2012 I think. The last Haruhi novel came out in 2021, and this year a new one should come out too.
(I translated your comment), Mikuru is my favorite in the Anime, but I can understand how you feel about her, but that’s how most shy characters are, what I find kinda ridiculous though is Kyon is really the only one there for her, while everyone else stands there like dumb rocks not doing anything to help her out of Haruhi’s bullying, Isumi and Tusuruya were such a joke in this, Itsuki stops Kyon when Mikuru was about the quit the movie because of everything, and Kyon about to stick up for her for Haruhi to stop, and Tysuruya, (who is supposed to be Mikuru’s “friend”, basically pushes the bullying on her too and makes it more worse on her, she just sits there being ignorant and laughs while she goes through it and is miserable, that’s not a true “friend” at all, if she was really Mikuru’s “friend”, she’d actually stick up for Mikuru and tell Haruhi to back off, remember in the “Disappearance” when she nearly almost knocked out Kyon for scaring Mikuru? THAT’S the type of character she SHOULD of been from the beginning, not as a joke laughing for no unfunny reason at her poor friend getting bullied constantly and on top of that pushing it on her with Haruhi.
Its sad she had little screen time.
I would watch a whole series about her only for those delightful laughs
