That shot, after Will escaped the Kraken attack, when Will was hiding within the Dutchman and Davy Jones just looks to the side with the sun shining on his face, is my favorite shot in the film. It looks so real, despite his face being CGI.
Fun little fact. Apparently Johnny Depp improvised the entire "I got a jar of dirt" scene and then actually fell down by accident. That is why everybody was so shocked speechless :)
Which is why Orlando does a subtle little flick with his eyes towards the guys behind the camera as Depp walks past him. He's like "Do I keep acting or what?"

The reason why jack is worth 100 souls: (Short Story Spoilers) Jack went against the east india trading company when he worked for them and instead of transporting, he saved 100 slaves from their cargo ship which got him branded as a pirate and got his ship burnt and sunk. He went to Davy Jones to get it back and in return Davy Jones having a cruel sense of irony requested he enslave 100 souls in return. He named the ship the Black Pearl because of the charred blackness that remained on the ship when it was resurrected. "People aren't cargo mate".
@@MuhammadIrfan-oe5su i think he means the scene. Their was a deleted scene in Worlds End where Jack said to Beckett “People aren’t cargo mate”. It was during the meeting they had aboard the Endeavor. Disney cut the scene from the final cut and no one knows why because it added some depth to Jack’s character.
As a trilogy, I find this series parallels the Back to the Future franchise. In both the first is great and a perfect stand-alone film. Massive success with the first film(s) opened an opportunity to create a 'franchise'. The second is NOT a stand alone film and in effect sets up the 3rd film. All 3 together create a great viewing experience. Even the Matrix trilogy followed this pattern/strategy.
You guys always say "imagine seeing this in theaters" and it's made me realize how thankful I am that I did see alot of these films in the theater. It's really given me a new appreciation for that. Thanks for your fresh takes on all the films you guys watch!
Because of this channel and the movies everyone suggested that we have seen, a lot of these would've been awesome to see and get the full theater experience.
I actually was able to watch this in theater, first movie I saw in tv, I heard about it but thought nothing to it and it just blew me over. Next two movies I was already sitting at the theater. I was expecting Barbossa coming back in the 2nd movie and was a bit sad about him not showing up and then at the end he just comes in. I have never left the theater so happy in my life 😁
Johhny Deep HATED that he had to romantically kiss Knightly's character. He's spoken about this in a few interviews. It's because in the first Pirates, she was only 17 years old, and Johnny felt a fatherly way toward her. The fact in the second Pirates he had to passionately kiss her, although Knightly was now 20, made him feel especially uncomfortable and awkward. He asked to have that scene eliminated form the script but didn't win the battle.
Can you source this cause he tried to kiss her and make out with her in the first movie as well, not exactly fatherly. You don't get drink and start dancing with your father. And doesn't this make Orlando bloom really creepy then cause I think he at 26 at the time of the movie.
Aww 🥺 did you know Johnny Depp also HATED allowing his 15 year old daughter, Lily Rose Depp, to date a 23 year old man with a kid, and move in with him. And when he was called to the station for his daughter being statutory raped, he absolutely despised having to cover up for the guy. And not to mention he wholeheartedly loathed dating UNDERAGE winona ryder. Ugh such a gentle soul 😩
Commodore Norrington is the most underrated and complex character that doesn't get talked about much in this series. I believe he goes through the most character development in this series and does honestly end up being the most honourable person in this series, someone who actually manages to look past his own selfish needs, which the other bunch of characters both leading and supporting fail to do over and over again in this series.
Thank you for this. When I was younger I had a crush on Will, but as I got older, I realized James Norrington is the better man. Even from the first movie you can see his selflessness. I always cry when he dies, he deserved better.
@@BaddMedicine Yeah these really work as a trilogy and I guess we all expected that if Disney would opt to make more movies in this franchise they would pen out another trilogy...
@@BaddMedicine without giving much away, 4 and 5 just lack the character and magic present in the first three movies. You can tell that Depp was perhaps getting tired of playing Jack Sparrow
Johnny Depp was getting tired of the progressively worse scripts! The 4th & 5th are just money making blockbusters that lack of all that the first 3 movies had and which made them so great...
Bill Nighy as Davy Jones is just outstanding! You'll know him from other things but he was briefly in Harry Potter as the Minister of Magic after Fudge who gave Harry and co the items of Dumbledore's will.
Underworld being that old ass vampire too , been couple years since I’ve seen it but I rmemebr thinking , this dude legit looks like an old vamp if they existed 🤣🤣
There's a deleted scene where Will actually played two games against Jones. The first game was for Bootstrap's freedom which Will ended up winning, earning his father's freedom. The second game is where Will challenges him for the key and Bootstrap joins and is condemned to eternity
Fun fact: The actors knew of a "new captain" at the end, but they didn't know it would be Geoffrey Rush coming back as Barbossa. So their reactions were genuine.
Barbossa showing up at the end is one of the greatest cliffhangers of all time. I remember being absolutely stunned and couldn't part for the third movie.
Fun Fact: The reason Jack Sparrow is considered a pirate is because he freed slaves from Beckett. Going against the orders of a superior Beckett marked him as a Pirate. There is a deleted scene from At World's End which says it all.
I love how Davy Jones and crew were basically entirely CGI. It's probably obvious to those who study that stuff, but to me, as a complete pleb, I had no idea how far the CGI went. My respect for this movie grew because of it. They look absolutely amazing. The whole scene with Jack as the chief made me wheeze while I was in theaters watching this. Pretty sure the people next to me were giving me some real funny looks.
Honestly, as someone who's very much into the vfx side of movies, this one still holds up unbelievably well. Every single character in Davy Jones crew is pretty much completely computer generated on top of just an actor in a motion capture suit. It's shocking how well it holds up so many years later, so much of it isn't even detectable as cgi and just looks like practical makeup and costumes
I really like the way they integrated the nautical folklore into action packed movies with iconic characters. Johnny's performance is just perfection 😘🤌
The shifting allegiances and the chemistry between the leads and supporting cast is impressive. Elizabeth/Jack/Will was great. Norrigton swapped with Elizabeth to have some great scenes with Jack/Will. While that happened Elizabeth had some great comedy scenes with Pintel/Ragetti. The 3 being dumb founded when the water wheel rolled by is great. The fighting on the wheel is just creative and awesome. Seeing the same action sequence from a distance added a great comedy perspective to the fight. The bite into the apple was perfect.
This one is definitely my favorite of the series. It mainly comes down to two scenes for me. The bit with Elizabeth and Jack both saying "One day you won't be able to resist; you're going to want it" to each other (Jack won't be able to resist doing the right thing, and Elizabeth won't be able to resist doing the pirate thing), then the payoff at the end when Jack comes back to the ship and Elizabeth tricks him and chains him to the ship. It's the character evolutions and consequences in this that I love, and that extends to Norrington who was fine in the first, but I didn't see much depth to him. I remember when this movie came out, I was curious what would have happened to him but I completely didn't expect them to give him the development they did.
I agree Norrington had such a great character arc. I didn’t expect for him to be one of my favorite characters. Although I always gave him side eye for wanting to be with Elizabeth when he knew her since she was a literal child.
Obviously the tentacles are CGI, but you might be surprised how much ISNT CGI (you also might not be. Not sure how huge a pirates fan you are 😊). The pirates movies are still some of the most expensive movies ever to be made because they didn’t want to CG anything they didn’t have to. There’s a video on UA-cam, if you look up like, “pirates of the Caribbean behind the scenes” it’s the first one. It’s got the behind the scenes for I believe the first four. It’s crazy how much they didn’t CG.
@@StopReadingMyNameOrElse Oh no, I know. I just mean I think a lot of people think that some of the ships are CG when they were whole built ships, or the swinging bone cage scene, when they literally dangled them from a crane in a bone cage and had them swing back and forth. They really put the actors through the ringer to avoid CG whenever possible.
@@jooj3699 In the first film when you see the entire 'skeleton' crew for the first time, it's easy to notice the practical effects by watching the 2 on their knees 'scrubbing the deck'. The movements of the characters in contrast to the clothing hanging/swinging is short but sweet.
Yall are just adorable! I love this channel. One thing for Oak to remember about why Elizabeth wont tell Will about what she's done, it wasn't just that she created a diversion kissing Jack. She's just murdered him, a man they both admired ("Captain!"). She either admits infidelity, or she admits to murder. So instead she just stays quiet in her grief and guilt for doing what she thought she had to do. Such a great film with such amazing and complex characters. These first three films in the series are amazing. Can't wait to see yall react to the next one.
My favorite in the series is At World's End. It does an amazing job connecting plots, further developing characters as well as introducing new ones, and there's never a dull moment
You guys a literally the only reaction channel I listen to the whole discussion and not only to the reaction, I feel like you get to a point and express yourselfs very well.
Dead Mans Chest had one of the best endings to any movie ive seen. Barbossa is such a great character, and seeing him come back with a one liner like that and getting that apple, is just awesome.
I can't wait for you guys to react to the third one. I personally really like that one, because it dives more into pirates from different cultures. Also I love Elizabeth in the third movie.
Regarding the jar of dirt scene, the song was improvised by Depp, and his fall was an accident. So, the reactions of the others during that scene was genuine. Also, when Barbosa was revealed, the others in that room knew not he was coming back (aside from Tia Dalma, I believe) until that very moment, as it wasn't in their script. Anyway, the third movie is my favorite. Can't wait for y'alls reaction!
@@cavaliothorson7755 I absolutely agree that each are great in their own way, but there will always be one that I would prefer to rewatch over the others. Like that one song you can't stop playing in an album of your favorite songs, or that one quote in a 1,000 page book that you have to write down. Anyway, in regards to the franchise as a whole, I like to view the franchise like one long continuous movie, and each movie as a sequence of scenes. My favorite is usually based on which "sequence" has the most of my favorite and/or least favorite scenes. In the case of POTC, the third movie has the most of my favorite scenes, and the fifth one has the most of my least favorite scenes. All in all, my ranking of POTC is 3-1-2-4-5. The Ice Age franchise, excluding the Buck spin-off, has the same ranking.
@@meganlodon I just think the third one is a little overrated but I still like it. I also think the last two films get too much hate and not enough praise for the things that are great in them.
@@cavaliothorson7755 I disagree that the third film is overrated, but I do agree that the last two dosen't have enough praise. The fourth one, I absolutely love; just not as much as the trilogy regarding the plot, action scenes, etc. While the fifth one is pretty good and continues on the path of the trilogy, it does have continuity errors and plot holes that shame the trilogy, which is why this one is my least favorite.
The first 3 movies are outstanding but it's true that 3rd one has something that makes it the best, and the soundtrack keeps getting even better. Love your reactions and how you end up joining the fandoms, for us it's also a cool experience to see that bit by bit :)
Hans Zimmer took over scoring the 2nd/3rd movies from a 'sponsored' composer he helped relocate whom scored the first film - Klaus Badelt was responsible for the original themes although I suspect he had some 'help' from Zimmer.
@@terrylandess6072 I think Klaus was a student of Zimmer and Zimmer was actually working on the Last Samurai and couldn't legally put his name on it. So he did work on it behind the scenes but Klaus's name was put as credited.
Hey guys. My favorite one is definitely the 3rd (At the world's end). I love it because it's way more Epic than the previous ones. It expands the Universe and the Mythology of Pitares of Caribbean so much. It has epic battle scenes, emotional moments, it is really really intense. I can still remember how I felt seeing it in the thatres when I was 12. The only movie that ever reached the same level of Epic was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2. I am really excited to see you guys reacting to the 3rd.
The third POTC movie is now and will always be my fave, though it's in CLOSE competition with the first one. At World's End is dense and complex (which I love in a story) and it expertly shows off all of the main characters without neglecting any of them. It's a wonderful, epic conclusion that ties all 3 movies together even though the first movie was written as a standalone flick. Now, all that said, I saw Dead Man's Chest in the theaters, and the CGI on Davy Jones's costume was SO GOOD that, as a costumer, I was CONVINCED Bill Nighy was actually wearing that hat and coat and I was marveling at the details the costume department had put on it. 😄 All these years later, the CGI still holds up. But my FAVORITE part about this movie has come to be Naomie Harris's portrayal of Tia Dalma. Just the *way* she speaks makes me smile. The inflection and tone she gives to certain words, the way she draws some of them out, and her back and forth method of speaking strong and decisively, then soft and slow and sweet. I wish I sounded that good, lol! My favorite line is when she tells Jack, "If you don't want it, give it back...Then it helps." Btw guys, go back and watch the Tia Dalma introduction scene again without the distraction of having to watch it. There are several times when Jack is poking around in Tia's stuff that the camera lingers on certain objects--objects you saw in other places in this film on other characters. Also, notices that as soon as she lets Jack the Monkey out of the cage, he runs to the other room, and jumps up onto a bed/table where you can see a pair of legs and boots. They are Barbossa's boots. 🙂
hahahhahahahahahahaha omg I'm laughing like crazy over Mason's face when the Oak says "who hasn't made out with a person to create a diversion?" hahahahahhahaha one of the best parts. You guys are always amazing, won't tired of saying this but your genuine reactions are wonderful to watch, I'm really happy you chose these movies to react to. Also, your faces at the end were THE BEST! And to answer the Oak I loved the first one because it was a great introduction, amazing plot and visual effects and the third one is my favorite, because of the plot and the information I got from behind the scenes, making the third movie was a challenge and to see the final result was awesome, loved the battle at the end, it is pretty much why I love the movie so much😆 btw, I just noticed today that Mason is like Dominic toretto, he is always using a white t-shirt😂😂😂
You guys are my favourite reaction channel I’ve found! Love the enthusiasm, it’s great when the reactors really enjoy what they are watching. Keep up the great work 👍 look forward to seeing your channel continue to grow x
my favorite is the third. even those who don't like him so much agree with what he has best in comparison to others. the third is the most epic, the most dramatic, the most complex and the most satisfying in my opinion.
Gonna agree with someone else who posted and said you’ve become an unexpected comfort channel to watch! I’m reclining for hours every day as I try to heal from spine surgery and you’ve been a welcome diversion! Thanks 👏🏻
This is in my opinion, the best written and epic installment of the series. While the first one had a perfect Story, this one for me had the whole package of better visuals, better character development, some really spooky and gruesome scenes and also the best scene in the entire franchise for me: Davy Jones playing his organ in a full blown storm and Bill turner forced to torture his own son while Jones smiled on maliciously. My own father had shivers going down his spine when he watched this scene happen first time.
To me Jack more so represented becoming a Pirate more than a love interest to Elizabeth. He told her that she would come on his side eventually. She was always fascinated by pirates and being free of the confined life she lived. At the end when she kisses Jack that was the moment she became a pirate, which is what he called her. That was the ultimate act of piracy, betrayal your own self interest. She did the thing that Jack was trying to do the entire movie, sacrifice others for himself. At the end though he couldn't do it and went back and saved them. They both became what they said each other would. Jack became a good man, and Elizabeth became a pirate.
Morbid fun fact, firefighters have said that burning human flesh smells like pork and stop eating pork after this realization. So when the guy says that he trades spices to the cannibal tribe in exchange for delicious "pork" it might not be pork.
Nah, the whole scene on the island drags it down. The first movie is perfect. There isn't one flaw or bad scene. This movie is really good, but there's flaws.
@@coreychristian2312 No it's not lmao. God. The first is the perfect adventure movie. There isn't one thing wrong or could even be improved on. This movie has both flaws and could be improved. It's still a good movie, but pirates 1 is factually better.
If you didn't catch. They guy on the dock that said he had "delicious long pork." Long pork means human, lol. So there was a hint even before the bird said don't eat me
The scene at the end with Captain Barbados the actors reactions are genuine. They were told it was going to be zoe saldanas character from the first one and they snuck Geoffrey rush in on them and they didn't see him until they filmed it
57:08 I'm one whose favorite is the 3rd one, At World's End. It's just Endgame levels of epicness and the characters are at their peak of their development and the conclusion to the trilogy is very satisfying.
There was such an unexpected and thrilling feeling with Barbossa’s return! I felt like a beloved character returned, even if he was the villain of the first movie, it just says how well written the story is. In his last words, Barbossa saying how he felt - cold. So much feeling and empathy for him. I just love Barbossa. Ultimate old-school pirate.
I can vividly remember seeing this in the theatre at 16 and absolutely losing it when Barbossa showed up at the end, only to go home and rewatch the special features disc from the first movie over and over until it finally came out on DVD. If you can get your hands on the CotBP DVD, there's a ton of featurettes about constructing the ships, the locations they filmed, the designs of the undead pirates, everything.
When people say they don't feel like watching Pirates of the Caribbean because its a "Disney" movie and so they think its for children. Remember how DARK and violent this movie is.
The lighting on this movies vfx always make me smile. Too many movies need to learn from pirates of the Caribbean (2006) and make good cgi while being able to actually see in the night time settings
So to drop a little lore. But no spoilers. Jack sailed as a sailor under the King's Navy when younger. He sailed on The Wicked Wench which served under the East India Trading Company selling cargo and slaves. Jack was to help the slave market and deliver slaves, but could not do it and freed them instead. Cutler Beckett branded Jack as a Pirate and burned/sunk the Wicked Wench to the depths. Jack loved that ship, so he called to Davy Jones to make a deal. After 13 years of serving as captain, Jack would join Jones's crew. Jones agreed and raised the ship. But the ship was charred and blackened and Jack renamed it to The Black Pearl. There are many theories that stem from this. The reason why Norrington didn't want to arrest Jack - he heard of Jack and what he did before being branded a pirate. Ergo he knew Jack was good at heart. Another theory is that the people that are crowding around tia Dalmas are in fact the slaves that Jack saved. Oh and the theory goes that Jack saved 100 souls. That's why Jones asks for 100 souls to pay his debt. Jack freed 100. Now he had to sentence 100 to judgment. Lastly, though I could go for days on lore. The theory is the monkey stole the gold coin so that Barbossa could be risen. You actually see in the scene when we first meet Tia Dalma that the monkey goes to the back and there are a pair of boots that are lying in the bed. Supposedly Barbossa. The theories are fan made. But the story of Jack and the freed slaves come from the book series. And PoTC wikipedia.
Wyvern who became part of the ship, their all tied to the ship. Also that Davy Jones commands authority and respect, Wyvern who became part of the ship probably lost himself and unable to do anything now. Anymore of what he can reveal can probably cost him more years of service or something
I love that first scene we get with Jack and Bootstrap cause just in that one conversation we get that apple doesn’t fall to far from the tree vibe, I think it goes understated how much it speaks to Bootstraps character that out of that whole crew that mutinied against Jack he was the only one that had the balls to call out that they was wrong for dat. It takes real integrity to do that knowing he wouldn’t be rewarded but was 99% likely to get killed. One of my only criticisms of this movie is I wish they kinda done more with that cause they made it seem like Jack genuinely couldn’t give less of a damn not saying he had to love bootstrap for it cause end of the day he was part of the mutiny but you’d think he at least would appreciate he gave his life calling out the people that left him for dead🤷🏿♂️
When Jack falls down the stairs, it was not scripted. Johnny Depp fell and they kept it in. I love that Johnny Depp added a lot of stuff to help characterize Jack
I have to agree with Oak!! I actually liked the first one better than the second. It may be a hot take, but I found the 3rd one to be a good mix of the first two with Barbosa being reintroduced, and recall it being my favorite. It’s been years since I’ve seen it, but I am excited to rewatch it vicariously through you guys!! Great stuff as always.
You guys have quickly become my favorite reaction station on UA-cam! Started the Harry Potter series and now you're onto Pirates! Can't wait for you all to see where the story goes!
46:45 It's really funny seeing reactions from people who are so used to modern blockbusters where everyone is a superhero. Kind of a shame though, you miss the point of such an epic moment. There was no plan and he had no chance, but he chose to go down fighting anyway, regardless of how pointless it was.
The Oak : "Who has never made out with somebody to create a diversion. Am I right or am I right." This was so unexpected at the end 🤣 that I spat on my screen 😂😂😂. (Me : nope. You are not right)
We think you are awesome too and you are right about the comment section. It must be the only reaction channel where no one is rude to each other. . I think the first one was the best of the saga. Pirate movies have been done before but not like this. Between the great dialogue, the CGI and the performances, especially from Johnny Depp, ''The Curse of the Black Pearl'' is a 10/10.
The first movie has always been my favourite, by far, but I do wonder if that would change if I watched them all again! This was a really fun reaction and review.
Some people do think Elizabeth loves Jack... I think it's more that she's enamored with him because he is everything she wants to be. From the very beginning, Elizabeth has craved adventure and has been obsessed with pirates - because she wants to be one. She wants freedom, wants to explore, and these are things a woman can't have, especially a noble one. Jack represents that life she wants.
I can definitely say that these are some of my favorite movies of all time!!! I love the action and how they perfectly include the comedy. And as a lot of people have already said the first three movies are just amazing but I do want to say that even if the next two feel a little bit like sequels they are amazing in their own way so no need to be worried on that part. They still give of the same feel as the first ones in my opinion and the fifth one ties in with the first three more than the forth I would say. Can't wait for the next reaction!!
The character of Tia played by Naomie Harris made the film. She stole every scene she was in and she should have been nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress. I give it 5.0 because of her and the unheard of cgi of the tentacles on Bill Nighy.
Omg! I can’t 😂 I laughed so hard when I noticed Oak’s lightning bolt next to his rating hahaha another awesome reaction guys, it’s been a while since I watched the movies but I’ve seen them so many times that I remember every scene, the black pearl is the one I remember the most but I enjoyed all of them and I’m sure you will. Can’t wait for the next one!! 💪🏻
Fun fact Johnny Depp lost so many hats while filming? Because they were made of heavy leather and would sink all the hats you see in the movies are made out of rubber so they would float
I remember going to the theatre to watch this movie. I was a kid and easily scared so when Will got onboard Davy Jones’ ship, his crew really creeped me out. Lol I had nightmares that night and have been wary of the 2nd movie ever since. So I personally enjoy the 3rd and 4th one the most. The 5th was the worse to me and it kinda bummed me out because I was really excited for it.

@@lampad4549 my guy. He’s talking about the Actor Johnny Depp, not the character Jack Sparrow.
@@lampad4549 reading comprehension must be a struggle for you.
@@lampad4549 wtf are you saying 😂
Fun fact: The rest of the cast was not aware that Barbossa was going to return. So the look on their faces when they saw him was genuine.
It’s widely considered that the next film in the series is sort of the last one, and the others are sequels. Loving the reactions so far!!
We have seen a lot of people say the love the first 3 and 4/5 are ok. Lots of mixed opinions.
@@BaddMedicine Yeah these really work as a trilogy and I guess we all expected that if Disney would opt to make more movies in this franchise they would pen out another trilogy...
@@BaddMedicine 5th movie has one scene that makes it completely worth it to watch. Perfection.
While Bill plays menacing with gusto, I really enjoyed his quirky characterization in The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
Bill Nighy in general is just outstanding.
Underworld being that old ass vampire too , been couple years since I’ve seen it but I rmemebr thinking , this dude legit looks like an old vamp if they existed 🤣🤣
@@cyanide7270 this is true he's just a brilliant actor and human. I love him in Love Actually and Pride
Yes! And underworld! Man, he’s such a great actor. Always gives of that villainous vibe.
Fun Fact:
The reason Jack Sparrow is considered a pirate is because he freed slaves from Beckett. Going against the orders of a superior Beckett marked him as a Pirate.
There is a deleted scene from At World's End which says it all.
The part where Jack falls down the stairs was improvised so everyone's reaction was real
37:40 you pointed out something that I've never caught in all my many times of watching this movie. It totally was point to Will behind Jack!
I cannot wait for At Worlds End it's my favorite of the movies. And I mostly cannot wait for you guys to hear the score for the movie
CGI still blows a lot of what we see nowadays out of the water. No pun intended.
@@jooj3699 Davey Jones was literally entirely CGI. The actor was in a very motion capture suit the whole time.
A lot, maybe… But not everything.
😁😁😁🤙🤙🤙
Regarding the jar of dirt scene, the song was improvised by Depp, and his fall was an accident. So, the reactions of the others during that scene was genuine. Also, when Barbosa was revealed, the others in that room knew not he was coming back (aside from Tia Dalma, I believe) until that very moment, as it wasn't in their script. Anyway, the third movie is my favorite. Can't wait for y'alls reaction!
I don't think I have a favorite all 5 films are great in their own way.
@@meganlodon For me it's the first movie.
I really like the 3rd and 4th one as well but all 5 are great movies
Can never get over how amazing the cgi is in these movies. Especially Davy Jones and his crew.
Remember when Jack snuck onto the Interceptor in the first movie and talked to those two idiot red coats “And then they made me their Chief…”
The pirate with the wooden eye you like is played by Mackenzie Crook … aka Gareth from the original Uk version of the Office, a very underrated actor
He cut Jon Snow and Igrid loose while climbing the Wall in GoT.
this series was really ahead of its time, the costume design, set/props, special effects, editing, such original fight scenes!!! ugh so good
The first 3 movies are outstanding but it's true that 3rd one has something that makes it the best, and the soundtrack keeps getting even better.
Davy Jones to this day is one of my favorite designs and bad guy characters ever. But Captain Barbosa is just Iconic
It’s been a long time since a movie trilogy has given me that true adventure feeling like these did watching on the big screen
My favorite line is when she tells Jack, "If you don't want it, give it back...Then it helps."
Btw guys, go back and watch the Tia Dalma introduction scene again without the distraction of having to watch it. 🙂
They slowly become part of the ship, thats why they are covered in starfish and barnacles. I think its an excellent detail in the movie.
hahahhahahahahahahaha omg I'm laughing like crazy over Mason's face when the Oak says "who hasn't made out with a person to create a diversion?" hahahahahhahaha one of the best parts. You guys are always amazing, won't tired of saying this but your genuine reactions are wonderful to watch, I'm really happy you chose these movies to react to. Also, your faces at the end were THE BEST! And to answer the Oak I loved the first one because it was a great introduction, amazing plot and visual effects and the third one is my favorite, because of the plot and the information I got from behind the scenes, making the third movie was a challenge and to see the final result was awesome, loved the battle at the end, it is pretty much why I love the movie so much😆
btw, I just noticed today that Mason is like Dominic toretto, he is always using a white t-shirt😂😂😂
hahaha glad you caught that little tidbit about Quinn and the white shirts. And yes, Quinns face was priceless on that lol

"This is the LockPickingLawyer, and what I have for you today is the Dead Man's Chest..."
I feel Dead Man’s Chest was the best one it added so much to the first and it was great
The best by far. Amazing from start to finsh

This one is easily my favourite. I don’t even have a reason why. Just the vibe? The calming and suspenseful atmosphere on the Flying Dutchman. Maybe
Such a great sequel, such a great reaction and such a great channel! :)
You guys uploaded at the perfect time rn :) there was zero new videos from other channels till now so I'm very much looking forward to this reaction!!
You have to watch the 3d movie till the end of the closing credits, there's a continuation and a proper end of the film!! (Love your reactions!)
Elizabeth: Jack Sparrow I am looking for a man i love.
Jack: Elizabeth? (turns to Gibbs) hide the rum.
Wyvern who became part of the ship, their all tied to the ship. Also that Davy Jones commands authority and respect, Wyvern who became part of the ship probably lost himself and unable to do anything now. Anymore of what he can reveal can probably cost him more years of service or something
Cutler Beckett used to have Jack working under him, until Beckett had Jack trading slaves, which Jack didn't vibe with.
We saw all these Pirate movies in the theatre. I think my wife is in love with JD... and I'm sort of ok with that, because he is great.
When I saw this in theaters the whole freaken place lost their mind when Barbosa appeared. So good.
The first one is still my favorite, but I think Davy Jones is the best villain.
Rigth when im about to eat! Perfect timing dudes. Great content by the way!

I'd say about 90+% of our comments are really, really great. Rarely is anyone rude.
I think this is one of the best action/ adventure movie ever made, the CGI and music will remain to be the best ever created till date

You guys are such a good part of my week thank you!!
Hahaha we have seen a lot of mixed opinions on 4 & 5. Glad to see we can bring a little joy to your week. Thank you for the support here🤙
The first movie has always been my favourite, by far, but I do wonder if that would change if I watched them all again!
That ending scene with Barbosa is my favorite always gives me chills I love him
The character of Tia played by Naomie Harris made the film.
I love when Jack is in the middle of calling him scungilli then he trips and falls😂😂😂
Thank you😅 I’ve always wondered what he said there
The 3rd one is my favorite. Especially the final third of the film. And the music is fantastic.
The score for the third movie is the most epic of all, definitely my favourite from the series
The dice scene is a great and quite complex game and bootstraps play is really genius
Check out the deleted scene between Beckett and Jack, it's amazing. "People aren't cargo, mate"
I thought Oak was gonna be a meme hunter! That scene with Jack running from the cannibals is a meme
