these videos are like my day before the exam “do i remember everything” check!!! out here saving grades and now my AP Test score. ice your back over summer, will be carrying more ap euro students next year!
My favorite person during this time, but was executed prior to 1450 by about 15 years, was Sir Thomas Moore. He was very close to King Henry the 8th and even though he had been like a big brother to King Henry the 8th, Henry had him executed after Henry broke from the Catholic Church. To Thomas More it was about integrity versus religion. Many Nobles and citizens in England were pledging allegiance to King Henry the 8th as far as his breaking from the Roman Catholic Church, but at heart they were still Catholics. Sir Thomas More wasn't going to lie to save his head. That's the person of high integrity!! I'm not Catholic, but I have to admire a person's honesty because honesty and integrity is something of great value.. John Knox, on the other hand, was a monster!
Yes Mannerism is more about looking at earth from a more distorted and imperfect way, after the age of exploration which made people have less.emphasis on the classic ideals that had circulated in Italy in the Renaissance. Overall Mannerism has more dark undertone, extended limbs, disproportionate, unrealistic, emotion. Away from the classic ideals. Whereas baroque happened after that, it was ornate, emotional, theatrical, and dynamic. Each country had a different message, France idealized absolutism and heirarchy, Netherlands idealized the middle class and their work ethic, Spain and Italy idealized the church amidst the counter reformation in order to combat the protestant ref.
@@MarcoLearning it really helped thank you so much i failed my first ap test but i got a 95 on this one cuz of ur vid it helped give me context for the stimulus based questions that i struggled on and helped me for the essay at the end of it
hi, I have a quick question. you mentioned that after the thirty years war you could privately practice your religion; was this only limited to protestants and catholics?
our ap euro textbook doesn't follow the ap euro units, which sucks because its really hard to find study material for the tests other than reading the book

Is there a difference btwn mannerism and baroque art?
Yes, M
annerism precedes the Baroque era of art.

hi, I have a quick question. you mentioned that after the thirty years war you could privately practice your religion; was this only limited to protestants and catholics?
i think im pretty late but yeah it was. at first, the only protestant religion that was considered okay, I believe, was lutheranism
