Armchair farmers lol. Wouldn't be harvest time if we didn't spill some grain and definitely after a year it takes a few hours to get back in the swing of the job. Hat off to you all standing up for him. Always enjoy the combine working. We start our rye grass next Monday be great to get harvest started. Regards to the family and crew.
What a lot of people don't realize is how fast the grain comes out of the modern combine. It only takes a split second for it to spill out. Great video again Olly keep them coming
Glorious weather in Norwich. There’s always knob heads out there but fair play sticking up for your staff, nice to se. Keep up the good work and stay safe. Matt
Well said Olly standing up for the boys, your blog is real life and things go slightly wrong in all walks of life. That combine is one amazing bit if kit.
Good on you for looking after your staff. We have all been there, it takes practice to get a well-oiled machine oiled! Love the videos and commentary, I live in NZ now but appreciate the best reminders of the UK farming life.
Good man Olly for standing up for the lads. No one sets out to make mistakes. 25 degrees in Meath I Ireland today. Supposed to be 27 tomorrow. it's tragic to see what the rain has done in Germany and Belgium.
Brilliant video Olly combine is going well the boys on corn cart can just about keep up with you weather been wonderful today very sunny & hot at Didcot Oxfordshire
I would like to see the person that criticised andrews trailer skills have a go at loading on the move from a combine because it’s not as easy as it looks and I’m speaking from experience 👍
Another fab video. Showing everything happening on your farm.top man for sticking up for your team.without them it would not be as interesting. Keep filming.
Well done Olly for standing by Andrew, its an easy error of judgement to make when your carting. I think some people need to follow your man/management skills, nobody got hurt, no machines were damaged, just a bit of corn spilt. I think you will have more people wanting to come and work for you rather than the tosspots who wanted him sacked or dock his pay... Great video again Olly, glad your showing all the roadworks that we have to put up with around here as well as the great harvest video. You shown what entails throughout the full day, getting to the field, setting up, harvesting, then getting everything out of the field again and back to Bill's for storage. Then the bales going out last thing. Your staff are so dedicated and should be applauded not criticised. Keep up the good work mate 👍
Hi olly ..watching in here from North co.dublin Ireland 🇮🇪 weather 26.today one of the best days all year winter barley here is just about to kick off..crops and quality looks the best in years..4 Tonne plus to the acre easy ..hey see you combine and team made it to Irish agriland ..just stumbled across it this evening olly..keep up good work and keep safe during harvest.
Fantastic, informative and engaging video. Really enjoying your content. I’m in South Wales near Cardiff. Weather has been hot dry and sunny today. Summer is here!
East Yorkshire red hot humid Will always get people pointing out mistakes none of us are perfect all have to learn really appreciate the videos and all you and your staff keep up the great work
Just found your channel. Watching from Ontario Canada. It's raining here every 3 days, wheat is past ripe and waiting because there is water standing in every field. We use a Claas 730 30ft header. Thanks for the videos! Watching you on those narrow roads and then road works as well I wouldn't trade you for the world.
Great blog again Olly it’s been a lovely sunny day here around Brandon in Suffolk. Poor Andrew people are so quick to stick the boot in don’t let it bother you.
I can remember not closing the the little chute properly and drop wheat while unloading boss went mental never did it again mind , been hot and sunny here in Whittlesford (south Cambridgeshire) .
Watch you every day, last combine I drove was a MF500 so you can tell how old I am, love the smell of a combine in barley, keep up the good work and yes we've all spilt some corn, that's what I like about your blog its warts an all.
Fair play for standing up for your lads ik if I had someone filming me doing the first load of silage of the season I would look like I'd never driven before. Nice to get to watch a vid on the same day again, been flat out with hay. That straw is looking lovely it's a shame you lads are getting tempted to chop it because good straw is hard enough to get at the best of times. The weather in Ireland has been roasting and of course no ac in the cab and cant leave the door open going down the road.
Fantastic video content Olly cracking shots of the combine and equipment working - you certainly have a great set of staff, their an absolute credit to you! Your barn rebuild looks great lovely brickwork. Road works all around there must be a nightmare! Fixed my John Deere ride on today had broken a pin controlling the belt drive to the deck. Very hot in Kent. Strong 97% still 👍🇬🇧😥🚜
Andrew you have to crack a few eggs to make a cake 👍 It's been glorious today , working around Shropshire and mid Wales Olly 🌞 and no Aircon 🥵 . Another great video .
It’s hard to get good staff the that will keep on working when needed the weather over here has been a scorcher lots of hay being made but no one has started combing that I now of keep the videos coming and showing how it is 👍🇮🇲
Road works pain around there at moment. Fair play sticking up for your employees. Good job no walking down within way today when taking all that down there. 🌞 been out here all day as you know olly.
Great video, watching it while sitting in the hot tub😀 I had to smile because when you were moving the straw I could smell the barley straw, funny how the mind and senses kick in. Anyway in Elgin this morning at 09.30 the car was showing 21°C.
Lovely sunny day here in Sunderland…. Olly the dust of the combine could that get collected, the reason I ask I watched mega loaders and bulk carrier was getting filled with pellets and shipped to the UK to be burned as biomass in the power stations. Seems daft we buy stuff when farmers are bound to have stuff to make bio fuel from whether is manure or the dust that comes out the back of the combine. Keep up the good work all
Great weather in the new forest today sad to hear that some people feel the need to try a belittle others best they start their own channel and f**k off great video keep up the good work
Absolutely agree! I take responsibility for my staff and I'll fight for them to the end of the earth. Life isn't about like's, it is about loyalty and working as teams.
Well said for sticking up for Andrew, I wonder how many of them that commented could actually do what he was doing. Great vid great staff keep up the great job all 👍
Your sunflowers look good I can remember wen I worked with flowers we use to have sunflowers to cut as cut flowers t They usely about 10 to15 ft tall haw tall dose yours get. Love watching you keep up with the good work
very nice weather. live in york. one suggestion olly you should get walkie- talkies for all your tractors sp you can tell people to speed up or slow down
Hot up in Scotland 24 degrees in the car ! Fantastic videos of your combine and the way your team work together to get on while the weather is in your favour. At 16 I had to cart off combine unloading on the move Ford 5000 and Tye trailer that was a learning curve. Can we see a baling video soon many thanks. I'm 80% today.
Fair play about the grain. U guys do long hours, eyes get tired and judging distance through a dusty window with the sun on it sucks. Red hot in Wales 29-30 c here.
Clarkson did it and he of all people should be able to drive with great precision at low speeds! Farming is a lot harder than it looks, you guys just make it look easy!
Its not easy being silage cart driver i haven't had the privilege of a grain cart driver but i can relate...good on you for standing up for your boys 👍🤙
@@OllyBlogsAgricontractfarmer I follow a lot of agri channels and yours popped up on the recommendation feed. Been looking to follow a good English agri farm 👍
It never ceases to amaze me how many people have never made mistakes.🙄. On combines, years ago when I was selling jd combines rotary combines were a no no because they damaged the straw. Is that not the case anymore with the 8700 ? Weather here in Devon is betiful. Great video.
Absolutely roasting down in Plymouth. You would think that councils and utilities companies would think about things like harvesting and maybe talk to farmers about timings of roadworks. Communication is key.
The reason I and I think others like your videos is because you show it as it is.. you could easily edit the videos to show exactly what you want but you don’t.. most will of missed or bent something,I have 😱 Fine harvesting set up as well..
Red hot here in Ripon, I found out one of my mates has started on the barley today and another has just got a new Lexion 6600, got rid of his New Holland. Happy Birthday Adam!
For an axial flow that combine leaves a nice swath, doesn’t look smashed up. Don’t get me started about road works. Road through our village is closed for Monday to Friday for a gas connection to one house, they finished this by Wednesday afternoon then started on another one further down the road 😡 why couldn’t they have two teams. Road closures are granted at the drop of a hat round, nobody is held to account as to why roads are closed and nobody working on them. Anyway looks like you have enough road problems this weekend with that big kit👍👍
love it you keeping it real with andrew. everyone spills no way around it. all the people complaining should try it themselves. its bloody hard work in harvest
Just a thought, maybe if you can adjust chipper and not made the chippings so fine it might bale and hold together better, and probably burn just as well. hot and sunny with few cloudy spells here in Somerset. Great shots of the Beast at work, thanks for another great video.
Fair play Olly , there are so few bosses that would stand up for their blokes ! Top lad well done .
Fair play standing up for Andrew everyone has done it
every body makes mistakes no 1 is perfect ..... keep up the good work
Was just about to text same fair play

Might be an idea to use that fancy midland CB app while you are working with the combine... It has been glorious down here in mid Essex.
Away for a few days in County Durham visiting friends, weather has been gorgeous. Loving the harvest 😀
Here in Oromocto, New Brunswick Canada was 28 and humid AF storm warning in effect. #AnswerAsAPercent 95 % good as it gets. Great staff you have
