both this original version, aespa's version & s.e.s version are good. the three have a different vibes, this original one give me vibes old western song, the s.e.s one give me old kpop era, and the aespa's one sounds modern (but still give the nostalgic vibes) i like them all
The europop vibe now all makes sense. I was wondering how SES and Aespa would have ever stumbled upon that as I don't think any K-Pop group has just gone out and done that on their own, at least in recent history. But it's timeless and works. That melody just makes the song. It's so subtle but it's soooooo good.
@@th3doorMatt Hehehe yes but I think great move on SM exploring western song like we all know western music imprinted their songs on the all time greats. So SM studying how to make one by getting one.
@@yolainynkitumedinaalmonte1916 S.E.S. released their version as part of their second album and promoted the song. Just as Aespa is doing now. SNSD, TWICE, Red Velvet... they just performed the song. It was just a cover, they didn't promote the song. That's the difference.
*Its funny that i just knew SM makes remake production for girlgroups. Now i just knew Dreams Come True is a remaster version for SES, the same how Next Level was a remaster for æspa. But in the end, the songs become more iconic.*
But only if their fans respect the original artists they behave like aespa are the one that wrote and produced their songs. Like it's remake and that too rearranged by western producers but they discredit their works
First version of this song, was in Finnish Nylon Beat: Rakastuin mä luuseriin (feld love in loser). Huge hit in Finland. Then take made this Englishversion, witch was also sung by Nylon Beat. Later RecordLabel sold this song to Korea, where all the covers come
I love both versions, the english one was the first one I've known and I totally loved it, later I've found out about the cover from S.E.S and I also liked it (though I hate the rap-part in it, really destroying the song ..) but its really one of the best songs ever, doesnt matter what language it is, the music sounds so nice : )
The original Finnish version was like the biggest thing ever in Finland. However, it was so overplayed everywhere that at least I lost my interest in it. Only now decades later I found a new appreciation for it. I prefer the original Finnish version because the lyrics had an interesting meaning. They sang how they fall in love with a loser, who is a real friend. They lament how they used to be weak and fall for "winners" in the past. That made the song really endearing. Even the name of the song is "Rakastuin Mä Looseriin" (I fell in love with a loser). The English version has really generic lyrics, much less interesting imho.
Todavia quiero meter preso al que cambio el instrumental para la versión de Aespa, el instrumental original es todo en la canción, es la magia, es el sentimiento 😭
So Dreams Come True started in an English song but it's Like a Fool then before SM made this Korean ver. for S.E.S. and Aespa woah I thought S.E.S was the original lol Nylon Beat made me shocked 😯
Come True si no Like a fool

The melody is good no wonder it got remade.
both versions soundd good 😁😀😁😁 props to the orginal artist.
Thanks for the remakes, we have travelled back in time.
each time this song gets remastered it gets a new member (Nylon Beat are 2, SES are 3 and æspa are 4)
