I have the same Craftsman jacks! I bought them when I was like 20 or 21 and I was in a pinch with the GTO. I still have 3 of them! Sadly one failed last year but they have been super good to me and I typically only need two of them whenever I work on a car so 3 will do!

Nice! I wish I had a full set of 4. Never really thought of it at the time I had them since I tended to have either the front, or back up. I have the matching Craftsman jack...it was pretty solid for back in the day.

It would be GREAT if you could do a video/review of the Daytona jack. I'd like to get your perspectives. I keep putting off getting the 3-ton rapid pump (in Mopar blue 😉) - but at some point, I'll likely take the plunge. It seems to get pretty favorable reviews cross the board. It might not exactly be of snappy quality, but it doesn't seem too far off. And while I do have some issues with HF as a company, if the product is solid and at a reasonable price, I can go with that.

I really do need to make a video on it...I think I may have made one on the unboxing and setup and the footage corrupted. When I bought it, they didn't have the blue ones available. The rapid pump is really nice and puts you in contact with control arms and k-members really quick. My Craftsman was a "quick pump" that was to rise quick, but didn't have the foot switch. It also leaks down so I was primarily using a little 2 ton Larin from Auto Zone. You spend as much time jacking it up to the frame as you do lifting the car. There was a lawsuit between HF and Snap-On regarding the jacks and comparisons...in this case, you get a great jack and save a ton of money, lol. A lot of times the coupons exclude the jacks. If you can catch a good sale, or one of the 20% deals that will apply it is a no brainer imo. Several tire shops I go to run them. Sometimes the best test for a tool is putting it in the hands of people that don't care about it...to see how beat up they are and still see a horse trailer go up in the air says a lot, lol.

@@lonestarmopars I totally agree about seeing how well it holds up over time through use and some abuse. Btw, I think only the 'Super Duty' rapid pump variant isn't unavailable in blue, while the rest seem to be.
