We're heading to Vermont this week. I'm a Florida native and have never experienced a true fall season. When I first saw many of these posts on Instagram, I honestly wanted to visit this location myself. I then did more research and learned that this farm was private property. After I read about the chaos the visitors were causing in this location, I immediately took this spot off my itinerary as I didn't want to contribute any further to the problem. We're staying in Stowe and plan to hike in the state parks instead. I can completely sympathize for these residents, I can only put myself in their shoes for a minute and it's quite simple to understand their frustration. I agree with their actions.
I understand how they feel. We live next to public hunting and fishing land, King's Creek is on the property line. Even though we post private property no trespassing signs they come every year damaging the land, crops and even our family's hunting stands. They all act stupid and outraged when asked to leave. We had a group come out and started harvesting ginseng on timber preserve designated land that is a pine tree nursery damaging young saplings and ripping up the soil.
