Great video, as usual. I enjoy watching you two enjoy your adventures. Videos like these help keep me motivated during the work week to keep things moving forward on my camper build, and get out there and enjoy things. Around here (Ohio and Indiana), the foliage looks much the same as in your video, with very little color yet, probably due to the mild temperatures. My wife and I went camping this past weekend in Indiana at Lieber SRA and visiting Cataract Falls SRA. The main parking area is right in front of the upper falls, with a covered bridge just upstream, with a short hike downstream to the lower falls. I would definitely recommend it for anybody living or passing through that area, though not as a destination for travel from distant parts. Lieber was holding their Goblins Weekend, with cider, live music (blues + country), and pumpkin decorating. Alas, no corn maze.
Good to know about that spot for next time we are in the area! The foliage seems to be delayed so we hear in many places, but we are sort of glad because that means we may get to see more than just dead trees on our way back to TX! Thank you so much for watching!
I live close to the Stowe Waterbury area. I take it all for granted because it's all but in my backyard. This fall was beautiful for foliage, but was short lived. We had cold, heavy rain and wind. I'm happy you enjoyed the area. Visit again when you can ride the gondola up the mountain to the restaurant in the winter.
I love watching y’all have so much fun together!!! Thank you for taking us along with you to the northeastern parts of the US. So so beautiful!!! Especially in the Fall!!! Gorgeous!!!! Y’all are loving my dream life!!!!
These two have such an enjoyable channel. Anytime I want to vacation with my wife and I, its so so helpful to watch their videos. Thanks A+K!! Happy Adventuring.
Thanks and thanks for watching! Be sure to check out our website as well. We have guides and itineraries to most of the places we have visited. Maybe they will help you with your future trip planning!
Stowe seems like a beautiful town for fall festivities! Great architecture and a historic feel! We love covered bridges too, such a fun and pretty touch to a beautiful countryside! 😊 Looks like you had a great time!
This video was so fun to watch! It looked like you guys were having a blast, especially during the corn maze. We were laughing hysterically at your time guesses. You guys really did the perfect fall day right!
Another wonderful video!! Those apple cider donuts looked delicious 😋 I am glad I could join you all on this trip.I know the leaves were just starting to turn but they were already outstanding 🍁🍂 Your videos are done with such warmth . I learn alot from each video too. Thankyou Thankyou 💖
Beautiful. That corn maze was funny, i've read stories about people having to be rescued out of them here in the desert. Looks like a great place to visit.
That is definitely the same Apple Cider place we went too!😂Apple cider donuts are the best!! I fondly remember the beautiful covered bridges too!! Plus you did manage to hit some pretty fall foliage!! Isn’t Stowe just adorable - we went on that trail & we love going through Corn Mazes!!!
Bet Kona has Vermont in her Top 10! 🐶I know I do! Not only do their businesses support the intellectually disabled but they make doggie treats too!👍🏼 Thanks for another “a-maze-ing” day in Vermont! 🍎🍦🍩🍁
We soooo wish we could! One of the top cities we want to visit, but we want to save it for without the van. Cities are just pretty hard with a large vehicle. 😩
As someone who grew up in and went to college in New England, it's fun to see someone experience it for the first time. The colors are somewhat muted this year, lots of dead leaves that never changed. If you like waterfalls, consider swinging through the Delaware Water Gap on your way out of New England. We went last weekend and saw half a dozen.
We were still very impressed with the colors! We thankfully saw more as we headed East. The Delaware Water Gap is somewhere we have really wanted to hike, but not sure we will have time on our drive more south this year unfortunately 😭
Awesome. Looks like you had great weather, which is always so appreciated. I noticed the vultures gathering after you had been in that corn maze for about 45 minutes.
We got lucky with the weather for this day...our next video? Not so much 😂😂 But all part of the adventure! And we definitely could sense some hungry birds waiting to eat us if we didn't hurry! 😜
Goodness, what a gorgeous place! And OH so jealous. I LOVE apple cider donuts, but it’s surprisingly hard to find truly good ones. Lots of mediocre ones out there lol. Love how you guys have started to incorporate a cute farm animal segment into your videos, even if it wasn’t intentional. Such a fun touch! Had no idea VT had such a tall waterfall. Beautiful!!
These ones were top notch! Still hot from the fryer 😍😍 And finding cute animals has been a fun little hobby/pleasant surprise these days...animals make everything better! ❤️
Loved all the mini adventures in this video! Corn mazes are one of those activities that seem like they're going to be super fun, but in reality are usually just frustrating lol. I've heard if you just keep going left then you should find your way out, but I'm not sure if that's actually true. If you get a chance on your travels, try to find some mulled apple cider. It's warm cider with mulling spices added and is soooo good.
I've lived in Waterbury the majority of my life and it's amazing. Cold Hollow cider donuts are the best donut I've ever had and the fresh cider is 🤤 worthy! So glad y'all enjoyed it!! (Also the donuts are delicious with peanut butter on them 😋)
@@AdventuresofAplusK if you ever get back to Waterbury, you should check out the Waterbury dam. Gorgeous view and there's some walking & hiking trails around.
Hah, I took a drink of my plain coffee after watching the apple cider / donut scene and boy was I disappointed. Love that area, we just spent a couple days up there about 2 weeks ago. Thx for the content, love it.
Loved Stowe when my sister and I did a road trip a few years ago and it was in the summer. Beautiful area no matter the time of year. The waterfall was beautiful! Loved the corn maze and have been in a few but not for a couple of years. Need to do that again.
You two are awesome!! I Always enjoy all the places you explore from the hikes, to the eateries and all the tourist attractions. I'm retired and hoping I can purchase my travel van next year when hopefully there will be more in the market. Unfortunately because of Covid there is a waiting list on new Sprinters. I will be following all your recommendations.
Thank you so much for watching Maggie! We hope you’re able to get a van soon! Van life has definitely become more popular since COVID and we have loved getting to travel this way during the pandemic (and even before the pandemic)!
That maze was really cool. I've just finished editing a video from a garden that features a pretty cool maze and my cover photo has Adam's joke of 'it's a-maze-ing on it... I promise I didn't steal it! 🤣 But your one in comparison looked a lot more scary as it's so high. I love how long you both took - especially after sharing the record was just over 4 minutes... and the fact that you didn't edit out the record time to make yourselves look better ;) The apple cider doughnuts looked amazing. When you say 'cake' doughnut, what other types are there as to us there's only really 1 kind. Looking forward to the next video of the hike! 🥾
Hahahaha I love the maze jokes!!! Can’t wait to see yours! And we really thought we would be better at this 😂 I think the other type is called a glazed donut. It’s more of the Krispy Kreme style if you ever had those while visiting the US. They are more light inside vs. cakey. They are good too, but I love the cake kind the best!
Ok just caught up on this one after our mini-vacation and I was dying on the corn maze. Classic "How hard can it be"???? Adam was looking pretty worried there for awhile. And yes to all the apple cider and cider donuts. Love cider donuts so much, especially with cinnamon sugar on top. Doesn't get much more fall than that.
Hello Adventurers, you too Kona😊😊😊😊😊and how about that Apple cider...I love Vermont apple cider. I couldn't stop laughing watching y'all trying to get through a corn maze hahaha haha haha...and I probably would have been an hour longer than you😊😊😊😊😊. Hey you notice how beautiful the terrain is with beautiful mountains and high rolling his? All of Vermont is just like that! I can't wait to see your hike up Mt. Mansfield. I have been there too but by car😊😊😊😊😊! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
The corn maze was an experience lol! So fun and stressful at the same time 😂 Our Mansfield video may not be as scenic as we hoped, but it was still a fun adventure!
Nice video! I've only been to southern Vermont, the Brattleboro area. Not too many covered bridges in the Carolinas, but next time thru PA, check out the Bedford County covered bridge tour. I saw 10+ in one drive. BTW, in NC its very common to combine fall leaf peeping with waterfall hikes. There are probably 50-100 falls publicly accessible and many more a bit harder to get to.
Love Stowe, we try to go every few years. I hope you guys did the drive through Smugglers Notch, it's amazing, a little hairy but I think the van could do it. We go through on motorcycle. Just waiting for you to land here in Maine!
We skipped it since we hear it wasn’t good for large vehicles, but maybe we give it a shot next time! Maine videos will be out in a few weeks, just finishing filming now 😄
I live here in Vermont and I really enjoyed watching your video. You have inspired me to go visit stow and take the hike to the falls. I have to watch your video again so I camp. Do the same thing
We love Vermont! So much to see and do there! It makes us happy to hear we inspire people to get out in their own part of the country! Thanks for watching!
Wonderful video!! I’m currently in Burlington and was debating if the drive to Stowe would be worth it or if I should drive straight through to Montpelier, but your video has me convinced I need an apple cider donut and to get lost in a corn maze lol
Stowe is definitely worth it! Especially if the fall colors are on! Either way apple cider donuts, maple creemees, and corn mazes are always a must do!
Those apple cider donuts looked AMAZING! 😋 I loved watching you two in the maze…the comments you made while in there made me laugh, and the Price Is Right music was so funny as was the kids cheering when you FINALLY made it out! 🥳 Those baby cows were adorable and I noticed the “Maui” cow pushing the “Kona” cow away so Adam couldn’t pet Konie cow…I saw such similarities to what Maui does to Kona here! 😂 Kathryn, any nightmares or bad memories brought back to you being around the cow licking Adam’s hand?!🐄👅🙍🏻♀️😂 Vermont is seriously gorgeous…would love to visit!
Hahaha so glad you recognized the price is right tune! 😂 And the cows had very big similarities to the pups! Especially that Maui cow wanting all of the attention 😜 I will gladly take cow kisses on my hand, but maybe not my face again 😂😂
Thanks for this wonderful video! I’ve always dreamed of going to Vermont. It’s so quaint and beautiful. Pure old-fashioned Americana! I noticed on the map you kept showing that the Trapp Family Lodge is somewhat nearby. Will you guys be visiting there? (“The hills are alive….” 🎶 🎼 🎵)
I love Waterbury and Stowe! Since this is not your last VT video I’m still hopeful that you guys made a stop at the Ben & Jerry’s Factory. Also, I have had very similar experiences in corn mazes- they are absolutely nerve racking!!🤣
Just visited Stowe in June of 2021. Awesome place. Went to Emily's bridge at night to see if it was really haunted. On the top of Mount Mansfield there was still snow. Can't wait to go back.
What a perfect fall day! Great video as well. Stowe seems like it could serve as a postcard for New England. Such a beautiful setting. I loved the confidence going into the corn maze. That whole sequence gave me a good laugh. You may need to bring the drone next time. We used Waterbury as our home base for last year’s summer vacation. Spent six nights there and went to Stowe a few times. Such a nice little town. We also went to Cold Hollow Cider Mill and Moss Glen Falls, not to be confused with the other Moss Glen Falls that is further south in Vermont. The falls in Stowe was our favorite of the entire trip. I was shocked at how busy Vermont was as I figured fall would be more of the peak travel season. Stowe was slammed each time we were there.
We agree, Stowe could be the postcard! It's gorgeous there. The corn maze was a ton of fun and surprisingly challenging. The drone definitely would've helped! It's such a neat area! I bet it is fun in the summer time as well
Haha omg I was laughing when you found the entrance. I live right by the Dixon corn maze in CA, the largest in the world and it’s set up with markers all along the ground, they give out maps and it can take up to two hours
Oh my goodness this vlog was so much fun and had it all! Wow, what a perfect fall day! It’s a perfect follow up to the last vlog. Watching you guys have so much fun together just makes me happy! Stowe looked so picturesque…I think next time we go east…we’ll be stopping by there and some of the other awesome places you visited!
Cool trip! We were up in Stowe last October. Really enjoyed those same apple cider donuts and some hard apple cider too! We liked that Idletyme Brewery. Didn’t get a crème though.
Hi A + K! I just discovered your channel. Congratulations, you are a beautiful couple and your videos are really well done! My husband and I will be visiting New England for the first time in October, we are so excited! We will stay three nights in Vermont, we can't wait to discover all its beauties. We will stay in White River Junction and travel by car. In your experience, are towns like Stowe and Waterbury easy to visit on the same day? Thank you so much!
Hi Gabriella! Thank you for your really nice comment! That made our day! You're going to love it up there and we hope you are able to see lots of fall colors! We definitely think you could do Stowe and Waterbury in one day. If you have lots of time and want to see a lot in both then you could have two slower days. That does look like the perfect fall day! And who doesn’t love apple cider!!! And those donuts!!!!!!!!! YUM!!!!!!!!!
They were SO good! 😍🤤
I'm delighted by the autumn scenery of Vermont you've shared!
Thank you for allowing me to experience the beautiful videos! 👍🥰🙏
Vermont is stunning. Thank you for taking me along. Oh yeah, the cider doughnuts are the best!!

Emily's Bridge! We used to visit as teenagers at night in the fall :) It is great to see other folks enjoying our beautiful state!
Was it spooky at night?!

Looked like an amazing Fall day! Donut looked terrific, corn mazes are fun, and waterfalls are always awesome. New England looking great!
We have been loving it up here!

We loved it so much! NH was also incredible too!
I may have been drooling 🤤 as you folks ate the apple 🍎 cider donuts! Love your video adventures!

Our final time really brought us back down to earth after thinking we could do that in 15 minutes 😂😂 So much fun though!
Fall in Vermont is so beautiful!
So beautiful! The beautiful fall leaves and churches it was just picture perfect!! Too funny about the corn maze!😂
The churches in New England just make the towns extra charming! 😍
That corn maze......I would have called it a day after making it back to the entrance the first time ..... You guys got your money's worth 😃
Hahaha we definitely did! We refused to not exit out of the exit!
Stowe was the first Vermont town I visited for a ski trip. Just love the old town feel.

Stowe is definitely worth it! Especially if the fall colors are on! Either way apple cider donuts, maple creemees, and corn mazes are always a must do!
I was betting there would be ice cream in there somewhere! Even if it only made the bloopers, Ha Ha Ha
Hahaha you know us too well 😜
Those apple cider donuts looked AMAZING!
Oh and I loved the “BOIIING” in the outtakes and Adam’s jumpy thing! I just laughed!
Hehehe that was a fun little surprise that he threw in to show me!
We did not! But we hear it’s a cool spot with a brewery and nice views (if you’re not staying there)
I love Waterbury and Stowe! Since this is not your last VT video I’m still hopeful that you guys made a stop at the Ben & Jerry’s Factory. Also, I have had very similar experiences in corn mazes- they are absolutely nerve racking!!🤣
We skipped Ben & Jerry’s this time, the factory tours were closed and we wanted to focus on places we couldn’t get anywhere else.
Omg, that is the largest corn maze I’ve ever seen!
Just visited Stowe in June of 2021. Awesome place. Went to Emily's bridge at night to see if it was really haunted. On the top of Mount Mansfield there was still snow. Can't wait to go back.
That area is awesome huh?!
@@AdventuresofAplusK Yes. Would love to live there but it is as expensive as NYC.
I bet it is fun in the summer time as well
If you ever go again during the summer you should try the maple creamies they have at cold hollow
I think we tried them at the end of this video (in the bloopers). They were delicious!
Haha omg I was laughing when you found the entrance. I live right by the Dixon corn maze in CA, the largest in the world and it’s set up with markers all along the ground, they give out maps and it can take up to two hours
Oh gosh, if this smaller Vermont one took us almost an hour I’d for sure be getting helicoptered out of the California one 😂😂
@@AdventuresofAplusK 😂😂😂
Looks like you got your money’s worth in the corn maze! I’d still be in there wandering around!
We totally did! 😂 The concern of not getting our moneys worth was quickly proven to be a false concern hahah
You would love it! So many great photo oops out there! Vermont has some super charming towns 😍😍
Adam...it's kind of a-maze-ing watching y'all do the corn maze
😂😂
Cool trip! We were up in Stowe last October. Really enjoyed those same apple cider donuts and some hard apple cider too! We liked that Idletyme Brewery. Didn’t get a crème though.
They turn the apples into some tasty stuff! You gotta go back for the maple creemee!
@@AdventuresofAplusK yes, I see I spelled it wrong - more proof that I never got one.
So glad you didn’t miss giving Kona a treat! 🐶 🦴 🍖
She deserved a little taste of Vermont too!
Great vid and background music was awesome.
So glad you enjoyed it!
Lovely look at Vermont in early fall. Thanks. Travel Safe.
It's beautiful even with lots of green still!
Just back from Moab, catching up on your videos!
We hope you had a blast!
I would love to try a apple cider donut! Thanks for sharing 😁
It is SO good! Highly recommend them!
Be sure to check out our website where we have a 7 Day Vermont Road Trip Guide + Itinerary! adventuresofaplusk.com/7-day-vermont-road-trip-itinerary/ Hopefully it'll be of help!
Thanks!
Butler House Inn in Stowe has some of the best breakfast this country can offer.
Must have been the best tasting day ever
It was soo tasty!
Another place to put on my list. Thank you 😊
Beautiful waterfall!
😍😍
You guys should’ve hiked Camels Hump in Huntington Vt, I highly recommend the hike 👍🏼
So many hikes and things to do…so little time…
That shot at 4:35 😍
😍😍😍
🌻I LOVE THE🍂 FALLL..🍃🌾
Us too!
Kind of amazing... maze...corn...maize...😁
I thought he meant maize like corn, but then realized he could’ve meant maze because it was a maze! It was a double meaning joke!
Yeah made it thru the maze of hell😰😳😊Great video🌟
Hahahaha it started to torment us 😂
That waterfall 😍
It was so pretty! Much larger than we expected!
