Awesome info GG. I have always just left it on auto fresh but will definitely be adjusting it manually. Thanks for all your hard work and great content. God bless my friend!
Down the road, if you ever have time to show which color palette shows grass, shell beds, rock, etc would be huge. No one palette is best for all. You have become my #1 go to channel for Garmin, not just LS. Great work
Very nice! I didn't even realize I could manually make changes to the focus. I just took advantage of the Bass Pro sale and am upgrading my livescope setup to the 106 and I also picked up the 93. Both with the GT54 transducer. I already have livescope and have been using a 73cv, but sometimes it is very difficult to impossible to see my lure. After digging around online it is with the more common, softer baits such as a crankbait or swimbait, but hopefully the larger screen will help out some.
Still waiting on as pro get my ultra in. I still can't believe I got it for 899.99! I will have upgrade the gt54 to a 56 but still way cheaper than normal. I'll be ordering my lvs34 here after Christmas. Also have a 32ah 14.8v amped outdoors battery on way
@@The_Garmin_Guru yep I'm excited about it too! I have my amped outdoors 32ah 14v battery now. My ultra 106sv is ready for pickup at bass pro. Just need go get it! I'll b adding steady cast & lvs34 for Christmas. It's going b awesome set up on Hobie pro angler kayak! I've been kayak fishing for 8urs now it's about time I added some electronics. This my first unit ever
After we manually set the focus setting to eliminate as much stitching as possible will it be good to go from there or as we change depths will we have to keep adjusting it?
GG. I'm losing my fish for a second or 2 at about 18-20 foot out. I fish at 30ft out and that's the fish I hunt and sneak up to. Do you have any idea why I'm losing them for a few seconds at 18-20ft? After the 18-20ft mark they come back hot. I fish for crappie. thanks. Oh and I use amber as my color...like hot it makes the bigger fish pop. LVS32
I have dead spots on my 32 around 15 feet away from the TD. My jig will disappear seems like right when I’m getting to the fish. I think this will solve that problem.
Great job GG, you provide a service for the livescope community
Thank you Jackson
I can't wait to give this a try. Out of the box I loved how I could follow my lure-- when I updated, I can hardly see my presentation anymore.
Awesome info GG. I have always just left it on auto fresh but will definitely be adjusting it manually. Thanks for all your hard work and great content. God bless my friend!
Thank you Clint for watching bud
Great tip again Randy. Wish I knew this last week. So my jig twice sometimes. Will try to adjust the focus next time. Thx ❤
Yes sir

I appreciate that brother. I’ll have to work on that video. It will be a lengthy one for sure

It’s an underused tool
Thanks for all you do
Thank you bud
Randy, if I switch my 1222 between my two boats( each has its own 32) I will need to change it in my unit for each boat, correct?
Yes sir you will but it will remain constant for the two transducers so note the numbers
I am so glad I found you...I just got a 106sv and a lsv34...im clueless🤣
If you need help you can contact me thru my new website TheGarminGuru.com or at thegarminguru@gmail.com
Another Great video. I have a 32 and haven't done an update in at least 6 months, probably longer. Are they even doing updates on 32's anymore?

Excellent tip will have to give it a go 👍
Did it work?
Awesome video and great information
Thanks Olan
I need help i have just got the 1242sxv is it awesome for live scope can you give me the right settings for this thank 😊
Man I have never been in this menu and my stitching is way off and just started randomly. I cannot even see fish or brush piles in my middle 3 beams
After we manually set the focus setting to eliminate as much stitching as possible will it be good to go from there or as we change depths will we have to keep adjusting it?
Set it and forget it. The deeper the water the tighter you will be able to get it for sure.
@@The_Garmin_Guru awesome good info🤘

Hi GG great info as usual I can’t find how to change from meters to feet on my live scope settings can you help. Cheers from Australia
That’s gonna be in your initial setup.
Thankful for viewers in Australia
Great Tip.
Thanks Tex
How do you get the menu to just show up on the right instead of filling the entire screen? Thx
Email me at thegarmimguru@gmail.com with a pic. Not quite sure what you’re talking about.
New to garmin live. Is auto a good place to start?
Every unit is different. I don’t use auto anything
Honestly, is the 34 $700 better than the 32 for crappie fishing? Focus looks like it would even resolve the dead spot on the 32.
Yes it’s that much better in my opinion.
Hey randy what setting is focus in on the 93sv
Focus is unit based. Watch the video for how to adjust it

It very well could be the focus will help. Hard to say without a video
@@The_Garmin_Guru ok. I run my focus on about12 to 115
112 to 114
Once this is set is it good forever?
Most likely but if you see it needs adjusting it’s fats and easy
Good
Thanks Floyd
Having issues with this in new update.. anyone else? Waiting for Garmin to review my video and get back to me
There is a new update coming soon
All this stuff does not apply in the echomap ultra, it has perfect picture always. Kentucky
Not hardly

Yes sir. Take your time and get as still as possible when doing Thai for best results
