When an artist interprets a song, whoever they are, the chief consideration is doing the original justice but perhaps more importantly is the "vibe". The original was a brilliant modern dirge set to emotionally involve the listener in the subject. I must say, in this interpretation, the "vibe" is different in such a way as to pay homage to the original but hit a different emotional point. The vocal and guitar here work seamlessly together and yet apart sonically. The vocals imply more hope melodically and of course executed brilliantly. The guitar work really shines and match the vocals in intensity and re-interpretation. Well done as always.
The Corrs are saying “Well hell……how do we top this”. Fabulous. Best wishes. And yes I know that this is a REM song which was done by the Corrs in an Unplugged session. It would be great if you did “Sweetness Follows”, another great REM song. Again thanks and best wishes.
