Having multiple projects going at the same time seems normal to me. Last few days, I've rebuilt steered rack on my 07 Mustang, removed rear springs from my 59 panel (new springs coming Monday) & replacing starter in tractor. It's also Interesting to see the different vehicles.
Like the various cars and trucks as they come, but love to have each vehicle build to have a separate playlist so we can watch from the beginning to the end....so nice!
I watch all your videos, and I like when you switch from one car to another. I kinda get bored when people have the same thing every week. Mama did a good job on the plug wires, they look great. Marty G.
Dude, all you videos are great! It's also really nice to see the things when they are finished! Many UA-cam channels don't show the finished product. Keep up the great work!
If you have the time, separate the vehicles your working on, making them there own, yet only if you can without taking your time away from your "family"! Your doing a lot of great work! Thank you for sharing your passion.
..hi Shannon and Lee....I have to go with the consensus here, and say whatever you want to post is fine and worth watching.....luv that the 32 is making progress......thanks....
Yeah, that Cu-Ni brake lines are familiar stuff in here Europe. I think its just stupid to use steel lines, when there are a lot better materials available. Its a safe stuff, lasts forever and looks better than the steel lines. That spark plug lacing was pretty neat trick, thanks for sharing that! And keep up skipping around with your projects, i like to see something at every week, than just 1 video per month. Keep up the good work!
I think many, as I do, follow several HotRod channels most of which generally tend to work on one or two projects from start to finish. But, it really depends on the content the channel provides. I watch basically everything you upload and because you are doing several projects there is always something to be taken from your content that applies to what I'm interested in or doing myself. The other point I'd like to make is, you have to be happy doing what you are doing and if it's working on several projects at a time - then do it that way. Variety is key and you channel does provide variety and content that I always take something from. Cheers.
Keep it up with all the projects mate. I am the same having too many cars in different stages of construction. i flip from one car to another. probably why there not finished 😂
I like to think I only have one “project car”, the 32. But then Shannon has her Comet, and I want to help on that. Then there is the cars I build for my day job, like Andrew’s 56 Chevy and Gordie’s Ardun powered 32 Ford. Plus there is still the on going maintenance and upkeep of my 47 Ford and Brown Sugar. Never boring times around here haha
IMHO I’m okay you posting in what ever you want to post I see it as going with the flow. My mind is the same way I just need to finish one thing but doing 5-6 things simultaneously is the only way I get a break to think about each individual project.
When I started working for Bell Canada in 1979 some of the old timers still used waxed string. It was a stores item so I ordered some. I still have it. We used a dull needle to get it through the cables. I have some on my model A now.
I like the variety of the projects. Do you have a part number for the hydraulic brake light switch? Great video btw Packed with useful information because I will soon be plumbing the brakes on my T
Love your videos, very entertaining and well done. Jumping around between projects is just like real life, keep it up! Enjoy seeing Shannon and Doris included also. Congratulations on the new baby and best of luck.
I enjoy watching the variety mixed in Lee. It’s nice to see so many different vehicles. Do you run one of those check valves on the roadster or is it high up enough?
Great the way it is! I am more focused on the individual "doing" of everything so the car the stuff goes on is a secondary issue! looking forward for every video.
I like it better when you concentrate on one vehicle at a time till completion its like building a plastic car model you don't start three at time you start with one and when it's finished you open a new box and start that one but we understand you're running a business not just a youtube channel what I like about you is you explain how you're going to resolve a problem not try to teach us how do something like build a English wheel or how to build a grate to out over your camp fire lol! Fitzee did that one
Haha when I built model cars, I still built three at a time. Sometimes more! The 32 is definitely my main project, but owning multiple cars, and building cars for other people, I have to work on others. Like you said, I run a business, not just a UA-cam channel. Sometimes one video on the 32 can take a month to film (like stripping the orange paint off) so by filming other projects I’m working on, I can still release a video every week. I appreciate your feedback and comments!
I've been using copper niquel tubing for brake lines sometime before i saw it in your videos in my shop and in my own cars, good stuff and very easy to work. I personally prefer to see diferent project videos at the same time, i think it's cool to learn and see diferent thinks in diferent projects. You don't going to put airbag suspension in your 32, or MII IFS conversion but it's cool to see it in other customer projects. I like how great it's turning out that 32 chasis, keep on with it!
Love the progress. As far as doing videos on only one project versus multiples, I personally like whatever comes up. I’m sure it would be much simpler doing one vehicle to completion since you don’t have to worry about juggling time and parts delivery and, oh by the way, the arrival of baby. Whatever you decide will be fine. If you were working on my car I wouldn’t want you to be spending time on anyone else’s vehicle but, then again, I’m greedy. Take care.
@@LGKustoms I always wonder what the process of deciding would be like. It’s “a day in the life of Lee, Lux and Shannon” I guess. Everyone wants to know what’s happening in your lives now they’ve been introduced to your channel.
Keep doing it like your doing it Lee ! and thanks for the master cylinder tech tip about the rear line goes to the front brakes .... looks like I have to make up some new brake lines ! on two cars ! lol
Rounding corners on brackets also leaves fewer things to ding a knuckle on later. The original bracket may have been done from under the assembled car which severely restricts access and sight lines.
Keep doing what you're doing. I enjoy watching channels that document and show what they're doing, rather than just creating content for the sake of content and pandering to the audience. Build your car in the timeframe you want to build it, that's reality for a lot of us that we jump from project to project and it's still very enjoyable to watch. It helps build the suspense too!
To retain the old time look how about adding angles tangent with a radius around the stud centerline forming a triangle tab? Replace the single mounting bolt by drilling and tapping 2 bolt holes or rivets (underside welded)? Simply clean up the base plate by removing the mechanical brake light switch details and weld plugs in open holes. But your solution is very clean. I still vote for bobbed rears and cycle front fenders.
You've got a good set of equipment. A quality 4 post lift with a 180 degree swing jib crane/electric hoist at one corner takes all the pain out and room for another car. I didn't bolt mine down so I can move it (wheels included). If you get stuck with a broken cast iron part Crown makes a .035 mig wire that works great no heat just typical good weld prep. I even repaired 1931 badly broken exhaust manifold which is really poor material.
I feel you in building Multiple cars ,I'm building a 64 nova, 55 bel air that was a four door and made it in too a 2 door, and building my first 33 roadster...even though it's a lot but I'm having fun doing it...
As they come I think is best. It makes me more eager to check out what you two are up to. Forget the part number on the oil filter. What’s the part number on Shannon and where can I get one? She is great. Anyway I’m going to Mallory park on the 10th so I need to ask mark ? cortina front discs pads. Many thanks Tim.
New bracket looks 200% better. They didn't seem to bother finessing anything, back in the day. Maybe because there were no 4" grinders, and it was to much work to hand file, would be my guess.
I think that’s a huge part of it. Tools were way harder to come by back then. Even 20 years ago. I remember when I bought my MIG welder, that was a big deal. I was the only one from my friend group that had a welder.
I’ve never heard tubing clamp before! That makes sense. I’m not sure why the yolk sticks out so far, that’s just the way it’s designed. The output shaft on the transmission sticks out really far, not like a modern transmission where it only sticks out an inch or so.
How about an oil cooler with a tiny fan? There's a guy in San Diego that puts an alternator in a generator. Has did many for my old motorcycles. Keenan Tatro turned me on to him.
Lee my man, you work on whatever you want to whenever you want to, i am keen to watch whatever you're working on. something you could include is more Doris. i know that sounds weird but my wife will watch a whole 45 minutes of cutting edge engineering just to see homeless for 3 minutes. it might help the channel grow.
working on a 1948 flathead has the starter that has the long bolts that go all the way thru the starter to bolt it on there are 2 bolts in the south cannot find a part number for a starter i know its odd have looked every where can you help me

Mix it up as much as you want. I enjoy the variety.
I'm good with watching any of the builds or day to day work, learning lots too for the 54 Humber Hawk rat rod. Fred, Australia
Very nice car the Humber. Hope it’s not to rusty they tend to go bad over here in the uk.
@@timferriss905 I have 2 one is 3/4'srestored and one is a rusty parts car.

I do have playlists for each vehicle.
Don't mind the hopping around to various cars but sure do want to see the 32 done. Like a kid at xmas.
It’ll get done. I try to get 6-7 hours a week on it
Keep doing what you're doing. I'd rather see 8 different projects every week then 1 every once and a while.

That tiny hole is only for the oil pressure gauge. You can’t put that into the filter housing.
Are you talking about the restrictor hole going in to the oil filter? Or the pressure port on the back of the block?
