Not pregnant and have no kids
*watches all pregnancy vids*
Maria Charry SAME I NEVER WANT CHILDREN BUT I LOVE THESE
@@derekg5563 not everyone wants kids derek
I CAN GIVE U ONE 😆
@@catrinamariemaguire That's Funny Cuz i wasn't even Talking to u. -_-
exactly me rn
This was such a heartwarming talk. It’s not even an interview, it’s a wonderful talk between two wonderful women. I feel privileged to been allowed to listen to this.
Ashley's presence makes anyone feel comfortable with her!! She's such a breath of fresh air!!
So true
I love how this didn't feel like an interview, it felt like two friends chatting
Shay is perfect looking. It's almost unfair.
Like holy shit girl, how?
Dani biore lmao 😆
her make up artist. are you really that stupid?
@@dede4866 Calling someone stupid for complementing another human being. Take a good hard look at yourself and how you talk to others, and stop being disrespectful.
I am very smart, and I know her make up artist is probably fantastic. But she also has a beautiful bone structure and a very unique mix of backgrounds (Not sure which, don't care) that make her face very pretty, at least to me.
Honestly, if you don't have anything nice to say, why say anything at all?
I started watching PLL after seeing her in a trailer just because I was stunned by her beauty 😍
Makeup buckets of it
Women talking to women, openly and honestly... It's what we all need. This was such a beautiful interview. Thank you two for being so honest!!! We need more ladies like you.
They didn’t save the amazon rainforest. It’s just two women taking openly, how sheltered are you, this happens all the time
@@missestomlinson99 Not sure why you choose to be unnecessarily negative and rude, but I hope your life gets better and your attitude changes. Have a lovely day
"Cmon Africa, where?" God bless you for saying that Ashley. You just earned yourself a new subscriber.
dark nath 26:50
I said the same thing when I heard her saying that, thank you Ashley!
yeah, and people do that all the time with Europe too. like what do you mean "Europe"? are we talking about Denmark or Albania or..? like what. It's soo ignorant.
bexans Never heard anyone say that unless they toured Europe, people never specify what country in Africa
@@MayaParris about the same amount of people people specify where in africa, europe, and asia. just not westerners lmao
I’m an OB Nurse and I can’t say enough that I appreciate so much that Shay understood that you CAN’T have a birth plan because anything can happen. it’s so nice to have mommy’s that are able to adjust with change. Not having a birth plan helps mom’s be more flexible and able to prioritize the safety of their baby and themselves. I find those are the most successful deliveries!
Ashley Graham's laugh is the only thing I need in life
samee
Hanna Okay but literally like not even to be rude does it or does it not sound like ursala off of little mermaid?
I heard her laugh the same moment I read this comment and couldn’t agree more.
It’s so awful how Shay was treated after she gave birth.
Alyssa L. What happened
People were just saying she was a bad mom for going out and stuff
REMEMBER. you dont live FOR your kids, you are LIVINIG with your kids.
@Toxic Neon Gas You must have missed where she said it had been weeks not a week. You also can't be a good mother if you dont tske care of yourself, going out for an hour and a half is nothing but it's a healthy break for the parents.
I'm pretty sure the baby was taken care of. Yes prioritize your children 100% but if you have never had a child, you wouldn't know what its like the 1st few weeks. Its literal hell. She needed a small break, pretty sure there was someone, pretty sure she didn't go starving, pretty sure she was fine for a few hours. Its not like she went on a trip for a few months or something. Also, newborns don't know anything rn, so this would be a good time to take your breaks. Now when she's like getting toddler age, Shay will definitely be with her 24/7 that's when they really take in information, learn and need the most attention.
I love the fact that they talked about pre partum depression I had it so bad with my son and it was crazy
As someone who is expecting and in the midst of prepartum depression (just learned that was a term from this video!), this level of candor and normalization made me feel so much better. Many tears of gratitude and relief were shed. Thanks, Ashley and Shay!
Highly recommend a doula if you haven't heard of one or are able to afford one
I will surely be looking you guys up as soon as i am pregnant
not pregnant, no kids, somehow found this weirdly empowering 💪
This interview is so good! Ashley Graham is so good with conducting an interview. This just seemed so honest.
I could not stop being mesmerized by how beautiful Shay looks here
Shay looks amazing shes got that new mommy glow
She says Toronto the only way a Torontonian would say it “ trono”
Or trona haha
LMAOOOOO
Chronno
when does she say toronto ... i left
Middle
This is the most realist and honest interview
My mum onece said.. 'When you're a new mother you'll genuinely be unbothered about the hate you gonna get.All you would care and be bothered is the new family you just made'
Omg like ashley need to have a netflix or tv show, i mean like she is so damn real
Angela Kalita i know what you mean, but this is her show! :)
Currently 32 weeks pregnant and I can't tell you how much this real talk about pregnancy and motherhood means to me! Thank you, Ashley and Shay! :)
This made me feel so much better about my prepartum depression, thank you for shining a light on it as I thought I was alone. Beautiful interview.
This didn’t feel like a 37:49 long video and I only wish it was longer! Both women are so beautiful and powerful. I never watch PLL but I’m so inspired by Shay’s journey as a mom and entrepreneur, 2 goals I would love to achieve one day! Thank you Ashley for sharing this 💛
I totally get it when shay says It didn’t feel real until I had the baby.. that hit hard.
Ashley! If you're tight with Revlon, can you use your influence to convince them to stop testing on animals?!
Yes please Ashley!! 💛
Thank you for saying this!!!
Ashley Graham has THE best laugh! Lol i love it!
this was so exceptional! Thank you so much for talking about pre-natal depression. I was diagnosed with Hyperemesis (24-7 morning sickness and i'm 5 months pregnant and still puking all the time) and people keep telling me i'll forget and not allowing for me to express how sad i feel over the loss of my healthy body and life... it felt so validating to hear you both speak about this. THANK YOU!
Just started my second trimester (of my first pregnancy) and already know I shouldn’t have a “plan” but rather preferences because anything and everything happens and you can’t control it. So smart to share that with her because so many women get disappointed if something doesn’t go according to their birth plan.
Its my 30th today and I literally just said this to my girlfriends. I am so excited to be 30, this last year I've felt this new confidence and self love. It's insane, I'm so fucking excited for the next 10 years. Thank you for being amazing empowering women❤
this was amazing. This conversation resonated with me so hard. I had pre-partem depression for all 3 of my pregnancies and am so glad this is being talked about. thank you ashley!!!
Both of them have never looked more beautiful... and that’s saying something seeing how they’re both stunning. Motherhood really suits them well.
Honestly, the pre-partum convo really hit me. I’m 16 weeks right now and have never related to anything more in my life so thank you for talking about this ❤️ it feels less lonely knowing there are other people who feel or have felt the same way. Everything else you two talked about was so good to knowwwwww!!
I feel like because of the internet, it is so easy to find actors/musicians/artists etc. so it's nice to have something that is a little more personal, like youtube, so now we can pick & choose talented people who are also nice, good people. And I love that is gives these talented people the creative freedom that it does.
This is the most comfortable interview that i've ever seen. The questions just flowed with ease almost as if they are friends just chatting away. I absolutely looooooved when Ashley asked Shay to clarify WHERE in Africa she went to dispel the whole notion that Africa is a country and not a continent.
Mofifoluwa Oke ikr, I love this video.
I love that they really vibe off of each other and this interview is so engaging and I love the conversation and the topics they bring up 😁
I had pre-partum depression and was pregnant at the same time as shay & her UA-cam show really did help me feel less alone in the experience
Thank you for this beautiful conversation, and double thank you, I had never heard about prepartum depression even after having browsed so much around pregnancy and new mum videos
Im from South Africa and I appreciate Ashley so for being SPECIFIC on the African countries. That made me so happy.
Thank you Ashley🌹🌹🌹🌹
i've been obsessed with these two for a loooong time and now if there's a word beyond obsessed that's me...
I could watch Shay and Ashley talk for hours, their bond and empowerment towards each other is so inspiring and comforting. Maybe when I’m 30 I’ll find friends as genuine as these two ♥️😅 much love!!! 🙏🏼🙌🏼💜
This was really fun to watch! It didn’t feel like an interview at all. It felt like two friends chatting and catching up.
I absolutely love Shay and all her ventures. She’s so talented and inspiring! Loving this duo ✨
I really loved this. I learned a lot of pregnancy terms that I had to google which was fun 💀
Oh my gosh. I stumbled on this video and thank god I did. Hearing you guys talk about prepartum depression, and your mindset while beginning pregnancy hit the nail on the head. I thought I was the only one who went through that and even now at 6 months I feel so guilty for having those thoughts of not loving being pregnant. So happy that I’m not alone. It’s so weird to lose your body/ part of your identity but to be excited at the same time about the thought of a baby.
Just like all your pretty big deal portraits! Shay Mitchell has become one of my inspiring figures of 2020! Thank you Ashley for shining light on so many beautiful souls like you! Your conversation about pregnancy has caught my whole attention cos that’s sth I am manifesting in my life. I wish you guys had talked longer. 🙏🙏🙏❤️👌😘
Weeks 5-10 of my pregnancy were when I felt prepartum depression. I am happy that they addressed that because even though my pregnancy was planned, I still remember not feeling like myself with the 24/7 nausea and fatigue. I had no desire to get up for work in the morning or to do my hair or make up. I stopped caring what I looked like and felt like I was not me living my life during those 5 weeks. I remember not wanting to see anyone or make plans with my friends even. Then once the depression wore off after my morning sickness stopped about week 10-11 , I felt more energized and like me again. So, it is a real thing for sure. I am glad I came across this video
THANK YOU ASHLEY for asking “WHERE in Africa?” ❤️❤️❤️ Just gained even more respect for you which I didn’t think was possible! So annoying when people refer to Africa as just one big place. Loved this interview 💕
OMG I absolutely love this. I'm 23 weeks pregnant and due in May. I'm terrified and feeling the same way about delivering like y'all... It's so comforting hearing y'all talk about everything. We need to hear more of this type of conversation...
Please have her back next season!! Y’all are amazing 💕
This was such an open conversation that was so amazing to watch 💜❤ The stories mothers share about pregnancy, birth and raising children always reinforce how they are the world's greatest superheroes 🙌🏾
Ashley you look angelic 😻💛
Wow I had my baby 7 months ago and I haven’t gone out yet ! Why? Cause everyone around me ‘so ur going to leave ur baby for dinner ? ‘ 🥴 its really hard on me!
I absolutely love this!! I’m 31 weeks pregnant and this is so interesting to listen to! :)
I enjoyed this! We as women definitely need to be more understanding and supportive of other women. Ashley you are doing an amazing job and please share more about your pregnancy and what you are feeling so the rest of us who are yet to be moms can be prepares as much as we can. I love Shay since her pretty little liars days and I watch her youtube all the time. Love you ladies!!!!!!
currently 36weeks with my second child & I'm so glad I came across this video & your channel Ashley, everything both of you spoke about.i couldn't relate anymore, new subscriber here 👋
Thank you so much for talking about pre-partum depression.
It’s so comforting to hear someone else talking about something you’re currently going through.
im in 5 seconds and already in love! I'm 9 months preg about to pop and im ssssoooooo excited to not be pregnant too!!! but yea the prepartum convo was super helpful, everything Ashley said and Shae validated resonated with me... the feeling of being big and looking at other girls in the mall like " that used to be me" and being in awe of being a mom but not knowing what will change, and your mom saying " you'll be fine!" but not knowing what that means. It is so nice to know I am not the only one.
If u watch shay upside down she really looks like Kim k in a natural way 😂😂
OMG that’s true😱😱
How did you figure this out lol, but true.
Hahaha, so true how did you even notice this 😂
Shay is wayyy prettier😍
Hahahahaha
15:35 Finally, Thank you for opening up.. I have gone through a pre-partum depression 2 times. I went to hell and back. I know I was not alone in this, but it feels really good hearing other women talk about iT. Thank you again, much love from The Netherlands ❤️
Yes, talk about the Depression!!!! ‼️ So important, thank you for this honest conversation it’s so on point!!!
Shay's an Aries! girl same!!! I love it! I feel like Aries are definitely the funnest most care free sign forsureee!
I saw Meghan Trainor in the beginning... cant wait to see her interview. Love you Shay and Ashley! Xxx
Absolutely loved this!
A very calming interview... Much love from Kenya🇰🇪
Omg! Shay is sooooo relatable, the drive back home with my new born girl felt soool real, and to this day my husband says that was the hardest drive of his life. I was so worried the whole journey too, also could t believe we just made this and now we are taking back a new person we just made.
Feeling every single one of these emotions so happy I stumbled across this discussion ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ so much love towards all the women going through this!
I'm so so so glad and thankful that you talked about that kind of depression!!! I'm in my first trimester and I'm feeling the same! If I'm not nauseous, I'm crying. But because of the most simple thing like today I cried because my sister came over and I was happy to see her (I see her multiple times a week btw). I was never that emotional before... So it's good to know that it's normal, it reassures me so much, so thank you.
shays not a regular mom, shes a cool mom lol so pretty
OMG the pre-partum depression topic really resonated with me. I'm 9 weeks and I know exactly what they're talking about! I feel it also has to do a lot with how sick and weak you feel all the time. I can't do a lot of house work because I'm nauseous all the time. Seeing my house like that really f's up with my psyche. I also throw up every day on my drive to work... It really affects your mental state. Luckily my mom really understands because she went through the exact same thing with her pregnancies. Love you mom!!!!
I love this interview, so real and raw. Ashley’s laugh is also so contagious 😂
This was raw and refreshing. I came here for shay but actually ended up enjoying the entire video. Also thank you ashley for being real on your opinions because i to as a regular watcher of shay's series was side eyeing some of shay's decision as well but at the end it all came together and im really happy for her. I can already tell you to are gonna be an amazing mom.
You guys are everything and its so cool hearing you guys be able to share that bond about motherhood and pregnancy. I love you Shay and Ashley❤❤
The pre-partum part of this episode. Thank you Ashley. Im 19 and just started my 3rd trimester yesterday. I’ve never been so uncomfortable with myself, my relationship, my personality my soul everything. You guys make it a little easier
Thanks girls for talking about pre-partum depression. I am pregnant with my first child and it was planned and wanted. Although, sometimes you can't help but feel like you are loosing control of everything. Your body changes so fast and your whole world is shifting. You know that you are super lucky to be pregnant but you can't help but feel defeated sometimes. For me that is only 5'1 and 115 pounds pre-pregnancy my whole body aches all the time. There is nothing you can do to heal the pain. You loose ''friends'' since you can't do what you used to, it sometimes feel sooo isolating. You feel like you are so grateful and happy but at the same time you feel like you can't keep up. It's a roller coaster of emotion you feel sooooo incredibly happy but it doesn't mean that it's not hard. I thought I was alone in feeling this way and hearing you girls talk about it made me feel a lot better. All of us pregnant ladies are beautiful and strong.
Ashley's wink at 21:53 makes my LIFEEEE
just discovered this channel, love this chat! So refreshing to hear about genuine women talk about all sorts of topics and not being all pc, love this vid!
Kenya is beautiful 🇰🇪🇰🇪...and this conversation is pretty enlightening and empowering.. Pretty big deal.
Loving that she's sharing all the labor, and post labor, and feeding advice. ❤
I love this video because you can tell that they are actually friends and it honestly feels like to friends just chit chatting about their lives.
I love these videos so much. These conversations between women are so beautiful and much needed these days. Thank you!
I seriously adore this whole podcast, have listened to it several times. I am 36 weeks, induction is in 2 weeks, a nd I love how relatable this is and how it normalizes everything that we go through. I LOVE you both so so so much for talking about these things.
Yep. My birth plan was almost like Shay: initially planned no epidural, unless...
My water broke 3 weeks before due date. Had to be on Pitosin. Without epidural, it hurt like hell, so, I ended with one.
Thank God I planned to do it in a hospital with a new NICU unit. My daughter was early and had stopped breathing after birth and couldn’t breathe on her own for a while. She is now 9 and has been a joy for me.
The both of you were amazing and are amazing. I was 21 when I had my son 15 years ago. I remember being freak out mode. I lost my mom the year before in december. the following year i had my son in september 10th. I'am a april 4th child myself.
You are one of the best interviewers I’ve seen in a long time! Seriously!! The way you have a conversation with your guest it’s clear how intelligent you are ❤️ congrats to both mamas
“ I’m a Libra & Matt’s a Libra too. So thank God she’s not Aries.”
Meanwhile I’m a Libra & my husband is an Aries. 😭
haha Shay is an Aries herself - so she said "thank God she's (the baby) not an Aries like me!"
Ohhhh “I have a Libra”!!! 😂😭😭😭
I'm an Aries my sister is a Libra and we have a great relationship...now lol
Google User oh it took my husband & I a while too. 😂💕
@@dee.buggyy My stepdad and I butt heads so much, he's an aries and I'm a libra. I know he cares about me and I care about him so that's all that matters even when he is annoying me lmao.
I didn't know how much Shay went through. Being one of her followers on her IG, we see all the beauty and glitz and business woman she is and hearing her talk so deep on her pregnancy and after makes me respect her. Thank you for this interview.
This was incredible. I’ve never felt more validated. I’m living this right now. Working full time and seven months pregnant etc
Finally a genuine interviewer who makes the person comfortable and is respectful.
I think you should have Daniella Monet on the show
Yeess 💕💕💕
The Taylor Giavasis (Nash’s fiancé) because she had an at home natural birth which is something she said she’s looking into !
Ugh Shay is just such a breath of fresh air. I adore her energy! 💗
i literally love shay so much. i have no interest in pregnancy videos but i was actually so interested in this video that i watched the whole thing and actually commented. i never comment. this was a very fun video to watch and i hope shay comes back with her youtube show cause i miss her
5:50 is exactly how I felt! Your first pregnancy doesn’t even feel real. For someone who’s never been through it, you just can’t fathom a baby growing inside of you and when she’s born you’re just like “shiiiiit it’s real”
LOL!
This was such an amazing “interview.” It was a real conversation and that’s something I really appreciate today :)
I’ve never heard someone ask shay about being a youtuber
Being a first time mother, myself. I found this very informational and totally know what you both went through on pre and post partum depression because I went through it while pregnant with my son.
I didn't feel like talking about my emotions with others around me and everyone around me said that's hormones and you'll feel that way for a while... My son's now 2 months old and I still feel at times I feel that way
I just got the luggage line for Christmas and I’m beis obsesssssssssed
Really wich bag do you have. I am planning to buy one 😁
I loved this open and honest talk of you girls! I totally agree, it's horrible how some women are so judgemental towards others. Every mom and every baby is different and not everybody needs to do the things the same way. I wish there was more mutual encouragement, understanding and respect among women. We need to empower each other instead of judging and weighing each other down
Showing love Ashley.. I'll be back later to watch, I'm working!!! ❤
I feel I really needed this interview. I’m currently pregnant with my first and so many things that were talked about I needed to hear. And totally cried during the part about feeling lonely and puffy because that’s how I’ve been feeling.
Welcome to the new mom club. My daughter will be a year on the 30th. Being pregnant is definitely an amazing, intense, monumental experience, as is being a parent. Good luck with everything!
I understand not being able to breastfeed. My friend told me about her pregnancy and when she was breastfeeding SHE HAD KNOTS INSIDE HER BREAST!!!! OF MILK!!!!!!!!! She had to get her breast massaged a lot
Excellent interview! You two just meshed. It was like we were at your kitchen table just listening to you talking. Congrats on your babies ladies! Life just began for real!!! Beautiful!
Such a real and beautiful conversation! Loved it xx
