    Love the Blue bowl concentrator. Gold recovery technology has come a long way. Great tutorial! I can remember late nights going through a ton of heavy black sand with just a pan and snuffer. It was slow going! Thanks for posting. I may plan to buy some dirt this Winter. However, I want to find a supplier who offers guaranteed unsearched sluice clean out material. I see some claim that they do? I see so many who just salt some gravel with a tad of gold. My best to you!

    Very cool gold panning bowl. Seems to work well. Can you imagine living back in the Gold Rush days?

      Yeah Mike I’d say the old 48ers just let the small flake and flour gold go... they were after nuggets. Lol

    Thanks for the video Seven. Very cool piece of equipment and extremely affordable as well. Great price at Walmart! Now I just have to figure out how to fit gold panning in between metal detecting, bottle hunting and magnet fishing. lol HH Greg

    Brings back memories of about 5 or 6 years back. Ron and I went dredging with a friend with his 6” dredge. We dredged all weekend then used the blue bowl to clean up our concentrates. It works great. I’ve still got two 25lb bags of concentrates to go through. 👍

    Seven that is so cool. When I get to the point where I can't detect I might do that. I might do that anyway.what kind of cost is all that. Great review Seven. You can do this in the winter when you can't go detecting. I have a friend of mine and he is a fireman. He goes to a place in Tennessee called Telico. He goes to a creek and gets a few 5 gal buckets of dirt from the creek and takes it back to the firehouse and pans for Gold. He finds some pretty good nuggets and flakes. Thanks Seven for this review. GL&HH. Jim aka Tennessee Gem

    i am working with 50 mesh material, the blue bowl no matter how slow i have the water circulation in the bowl, will take both the (few) gold pieces as well as the non gold material. i am trying to figure a way to stop this from happening, everything goes into the bowl at the bottom, but i may as well have just put a spoonful of material directly into the bottom bowl.

    I like that set up ... not that I have done any panning at all ... . The Blue Bowl set up seems like an awesome way purify your Findings ? dirt ? I,m not even sure what you would call lets say a bucket of what you have dug up to run thru the blue bowl ... Take care Loy

    • @DigginwithSeven
      @DigginwithSeven  6 років тому

      Thank you Jim. Once you work your cons (concentrates) down to black sand, it is difficult to separate that from the gold. This is one that can be done.

    That setup works so much better if you drill a 1/4" hole in your bucket about 3" from the top.

  • @davidsawmandave8731

    I watch the water go around where does the blacks and go I kind of didn't quite understand at the end and did the gold very fine gold was at the top where the water drains out

    • @DigginwithSeven
      @DigginwithSeven  6 років тому

      I know it's hard to see David, but the black sand climbs up the middle cone and empties out through the center of the cone, while the gold remains in the bottom of the Blue Bowl. It is very hard to see the gold because it is so small at this point.
