The headlight is stock, but custom DRL and cob ring. Exhaust is using. Valvetronic muffler, custom downpipe with Akrapovic exhaust tips and yes the car is lowered with Storm Sport spring
How reliable are these cars 17-18? I'm looking at a 17 M6 car now and wonder about reliability for daily driving in stock form. No tuning. Just want a fun truly reliable daily. What's your thoughts?
I bought mine brand new in 2018, you have to understand it's a GDI engine. You should do a CRC, or something compatible like seafoam, intake valve cleaning when you change the oil. You should run full synthetic and changing every three to four thousand miles. I'm at43000 miles on my now still runs great. I have the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission no problems, but if you haven't driven a manual you have to understand a dual-clutch transmission is different than a regular automatic with a torque converter, and drive accordingly. You also should change your spark plugs at 42000 miles on this vehicle, actually probably before then all depending how you drive when I change mine they were toast at 42.5k. People are running hks m45xl. I almost forgot you should get a catch can to keep your intake valves clean
@@joerichardson6107 I now have a 17 es with 58k miles on the clock. It has dual sxth catch cans, Down pipe with first cat delete, and sxth muffler delete, second cat still there. Has sxth bov and intake. Been great so far mine is 6 speed manual. I'm having underboost code when under the knife in 4th and 5th gear. Hoping it's the ebcs!
@@tdv1985 the waste gate and bov solenoid is one of the first things you should upgrade n75 has the best deal I've seen and there is no tax.I'm full bolt on with a custom stuffed turbo about 1-2 months away. Are you tuned?
@@tdv1985 it would be worth it to get a tune to take advantage of the things you have installed, with the downpipe and your axle back exhaust a small tune actually can have the car running better, you still keep your reliability, stock turbo and engine can do 230 whp safely, and you would be under that maybe 200-210.
