I read a piece that Madeleine Zima was not very happy with her time there. She felt like she was only window dressing, essentially. Well you were a 6 year old kid and the show was The NANNY
As a teenager, I watched the show, every afternoon after a long anxiety day, coming back from school. and would be happy again,. Thank you Fran Drescher for giving us so much memories. we love you.
Up to this day I still watch The Nanny. I never get bored of it even though I know every line. There's something genious and magic about this show. I don't think even Friends can be compared to it.
It warms my heart to know you made sure the kiddos were taken care of through out the length of the series. I always loved the fashion on your show, you have always been and continue to be such an icon. But you will always be the bestest nanny to me, now that I know you literally had the kids' best interest at heart!
That's so sweet she hired not only a mentor but someone she had that relationship with. She knew him! And she's right if you're gonna have a show with kids you're responsible to help raise them too.
Fran looks like she hasn't aged a day. She looks incredible. What s beautiful actress. In and out. I loved this show growing up. It helped me with my depression. Brought laughs and smiles to my life. ❤
As a queer boy growing up The Nanny was my escape from hell I was living at school and then high school. I'm from Costa Rica and they used to play the show on weekends, I used to look foward those days when I could watch The Nanny without feeling guilty of being femenine 🥰.
I love that she wanted to be a mentor to them. I love she became positive influence for them. You can tell she really loved them and are proud of them.
She’s right. You have to try to be brave even when you lack self-confidence to seize the day when opportunity comes your way. They say you regret more the things you don’t do rather than the things you do and I can say this is true. I’ve told my nephews when they were younger to say Yes to things when offered and try it out. If it really isn’t your thing, you can say No. It’s Ok. I remember getting a call in the late 90’s to be an extra in the first X-Men movie but I had the flu at the time so I declined. I should have agreed and I would have probably felt better by the time of filming. One of my biggest regrets.
You can see how shredded she was. Her arms are very muscular and so you can tell she spent a couple of ours in the gym per week and a good diet plays a big role. Judging from her physique she took care of her body very well and worked really hard. Genetics play a minor role in this. To look that muscular you have to lift heavy nonetheless.
“The Nanny” is a classic like “The Honeymooners”, “The Golden Girls”, “Mom”, “Coach”, “Frazier”, “Friends”, and “The Big Bang Theory”. These are shows that you can watch over and over again and still find the humor in each episode time and again. I have several friends and relatives who like me watch “The Nanny” on COZI TV 📺 from 11PM TO 1PM. Thank you Fran Drescher for the much needed and always welcome laughter in this chaotic world of ours. You are WONDERFUL! 😘
I’m glad she made it during the 90s and how she seized the opportunity and got far with it. Even after all these years, I still watch reruns of this show.
Fran....You are an amazing woman. "The Nanny" was one of the best shows ever!!! No matter how many times I watch the episodes over and over, I still LMAO!!! The chemistry between all of you was incredible. Still remember Niles dancing in his underwear and CC walking in on him.....Priceless. There are no shows today that compare to the "Nanny". Love You Fran!!! 😘❤
Fran you are such a delightful person - I watch your shows so much that it puts tears in my eyes how time passed but so happy that the show is still available to watch - you are a beautiful person
FRAN LOOKS AMAZING!!! My mum and I watched this show all the time. We had actually started rewatching it and was on season 2 when she passed away suddenly in July of this year [2021]. Miss her beyond words. I really hope there is some kind of revival! 2023 will be 30 years since it aired! It will be great to see what those characters are up to!
Hi Fran! I enjoyed your answers and I think it is cute how Chester growls when someone takes him away from you. Chester is truly a joy to watch on the show :)
Oh, i never knew the story with the cbs president on the plane 😯 how gutsy was that? If I hadn't had the maximum possible admiration for fran drescher already, I would admire her even more after hearing that story. What an amazing woman!
Thank you for the interview Fran! I have the series on DVD, plus I watch it on Cozi tv every night! I am about the same age as you, and when the show originally aired I just enjoyed it so much!!! Still do! And you're still one of my be role models! 😉 Love you!!
I love Fran! God bless you, there will never be a show like this one. You are one in a million, I can watch over and over and over and never be board and always laugh. This cast is GOLDEN.
_The Nanny_ was one of the few girlie shows (to my teenaged mind) that I was unabashed in watching. The show, and everyone on it, deserves every accolade that they get and more.
It is so impresive to see how good this show is. Growing up watching the show in the evenings made me so happy ..and it still does¡¡¡ on today's day ¡¡¡ pure joy I cannot be more happy ¡¡¡¡ now that i am a little older ...i do really have an apreciation for the complete show..the writers, the actors, the clothing ..everything ¡¡ I am your fan forever Nanny Fran¡¡¡ 🤩🥳💕💕💕💕💕
I loved this series, all the characters were chosen very well. The roles were right for each of you. Also, I loved your dresses and bathrobes, it would be nice to be able to buy these types of bathrobes...
Love your shows Fran all of them. I do miss your humour and characters that were perfect. Also the cute intro songs as very few others don't do due to lack of creativity. Blessings to you and family and friends.
I grew up watching the show and The Nanny remains on my rerun cycle. Ms. Fran, thank you so much for a great show. I sure hope this show ends up in the US Film Registry preservation.
I still watch the re-runs of The Nanny! I really enjoyed and loved the series. I sure would really love watching all the actors together after 28 years ( except Grandma Yetta RIP😢) …
Thanks Fran for teaching me the expression "carpe diem." I didn't even know such an expression existed. Shows that the real life Fran is more knowledgeable and sophisticated than the sitcom Fran. I wonder what Nanny Fine would have said if Maggie had asked her the meaning of carpe diem. The same goes for Val.
I’m rewatching again atm and I NEED TO KNOW, what is the floor plan of the house 😅 It seems to change. Does the dining and then kitchen come off the hall next to Max’s office or is it down the hall under the stairs at the front? I don’t know why I need to know this but I always find myself trying to figure it out 🥲
I was teenager when I whatched the nanny (italian dubbing). Francesca is an italian girl from Frosinone. Actually i am whatching The nanny with my daugther😊 and she also loves Fran. The original version in English is amazing too! Francesca is Mrs Fran and zia Assunta is her mother
Thank you Fran - as a young gay kid I grew up watching the Nanny on Nick@Nite and always wished I had someone like you in my life to add more pizazz, charm, fashion and wit to my monotonous suburban life
The fact that she gave the kids on the show a mentor is so thoughtful and smart. I'm sure they're really grateful for that guidance.
Shows her care for the kids and her ethics. She is The Nanny after all ;)
I read a piece that Madeleine Zima was not very happy with her time there. She felt like she was only window dressing, essentially. Well you were a 6 year old kid and the show was The NANNY
@@SuperDrLisa I know! I was so sad when I read she basically shit on the show
Omg hi I always see you on Trixie and Katya videos
Yeah Madeline Zima didn't have a great time doing the nanny but she did like being around Fran.
Fran is so likeable which is why even 28 yrs later The Nanny is STILL one of the most loved sitcoms out there. She just has good energy💋💋
I loved that you really did care for the kids, how beautiful. Take care Fran.
She could still pull off being the nanny even after 30 years.
This show embraces you like a warm hug from the past ✨👠
And Fran Drescher, you are an inspiration for millions of women! Thank you for your hard work.

That's nice of you. How are you doing
I am sure they really appreciate it
No member of the show ever talked badly about it. This doesn't happen very often, especially for shows from decades ago.
@@SaraShakur94 ehm, sorry to break it to you but Madeline Zima hated playing Grace

wow, sorry u didnt get the part
Fran. How did you keep up your PERFECT body during and after the show ? Just diet and exercise or also great genetics ?
You can see how shredded she was. Her arms are very muscular and so you can tell she spent a couple of ours in the gym per week and a good diet plays a big role. Judging from her physique she took care of her body very well and worked really hard. Genetics play a minor role in this. To look that muscular you have to lift heavy nonetheless.

Honestly, it would be WONDERFUL to have them do a movie and catch us up on Fran's life!! I can't get enough of her!! Keep doing these Q&A's please.
Fran, you're such a sweetheart! Also thank you for many fond childhood memories! Love the show!
The Nanny helped me through my tough childhood. It always brought a smile on my face. So, thank you!
Fran - you were a treasure then, who bought so much laughter and joy to many and still the same today. Thank you!
The ONLY two celebrities I Stan for is Fran Drescher and Jasmine Guy.. I'll watch The Nanny well into my grave 😂💕
What a wonderful woman she is! Love from Germany!
I love how thoughtful she was about the kids😊
I can't get over how gorgeous and sweet Fran is. The Nanny is a gem ❤
What an absolute treasure. Funny. Smart. Eternal beauty!
I’m obsessed with the is lady and the show The Nanny. I wish it had 20 seasons because all I want to do is watch the nanny all day long lol

In my eyes she is never too old to still be the nanny.
This show made me fall in love with fashion at a young age. ❤️
I can't remember how many times I had The Nanny marathon. Loving the show so much.

I've started and finished this series probably 3 or 4 times this year. I DESPERATELY want this show to come back with everyone... :(
