I have the 8 quart and have only used one side at a time for “larger” items. For example, I cooked a relatively large Cornish hen in side 1 and a few small potatoes in side 2 with a smart finish. I still love the dual zone air fryer, and I’m a Ninja Foodi appliance addict, owning 6 of them now, so it’s really good to know the limits. Thank you for your thorough and honest reviews; really appreciate them!
I really enjoy this air fryer for daily use during the week for those quick and easy things for lunch and dinners. I have a tendency to pull out the Ninja Foodi for my rotisserie chickens and I pressure cook then air fry. Thanks for another helpful video.
I had the same complaint about the first dual cooker. When you use both sides it takes a lot longer. If you are temped to raise the temp it will likely burn your food.
Bro you are freaking amazing lmao you sent proof 🙌🏿🙌🏿 I just got the chefman dual air fryer I think my baskets are a lil smaller 🫡🫡🫡🫡 your channel matters out here
I have noticed that issue as well and ninja should improve that issue..match cook should be finished at the same time and both be the same temp when finished..so on match cook feature it needs to be improved..Thank you for sharing your video..on ninja not so matched cooking feature.
Wauw..we have also the NINJA FOODI AF400....Hè is GREATE , very strong , very BIG, and have power..also he can till 230 degrees...Thanks ! greetings from the Netherlands. PS..use siliconen tools for the airfryer
Hello, I have a question looking for information. I found you. I bought it a week ago. It cooks very well, but I have a doubt when it is cooking the two baskets or one clicks every 120 seconds. I want to know if it is because I am already looking for information and no. I find I thank you very much I hope you answer me
You're supposed to turn the chicken over halfway through the cooking time, Start with the breast side down, finish with breast side up. Foil is a bad idea for these air fryers
@@WaveOvenRecipes With foil you're defeating the objective of the hot air. Try the next one like this: Dry a 3lb chicken completely with kitchen roll, season it all around with salt and black pepper. Set to 390F on 'air fry' for 1 hour starting with the breast side down, after 30 mins turn it over and continue for the remaining 30 mins.
As stated, I am content without foil or flips. And a 3 pound chicken is not on the radar. Totally defeats the purpose of a 10 quart air fryer. Everyone has their preference.
Double sigh waste of time watching this.. dude used foil in a air fryer. 😂😂😂 can’t unlike enough.. then he gets solid feedback and disagrees. Clean those white cabinets playa
Thank you for the Honest Video!
Flipping the birds over about half way through works great and we avoided foiling.
I admire your persistence. The best way to roast (in my humble opinion and testing) is roast upside down for 45 mins, flip and finish off 15-25 min
Try it, I doubt with 2 5.5 pound birds you will finish in anything near 1 hour.
What about starting them upside down and then turning over halfway?

Thanks Darnell, this helped a lot. Getting the pressure cooker/air fyer foodi instead.

Pressure cook do you mean roast?

Exactly!!!
How much time and setting do you recommend if just using one side for a whole chicken?

The reason why it got chard is because breast side up isnhigher to heat element. Start the chicken with breast side down. Looks delicious
Why to roast instead of bake ??? and Ninja told me not to use aluminum foil in their air fryers. I just got the same model. Merci pour ces videos 😁😁😁
Experience 🙂

Call Ninja customer service.
Why does he sound like the guy from the Allstate commercial
Thank you
Maybe you should do an update video and use a different recipe for a spark
What do you work as?
S I G H ‼️ You are great.

Well, the manufacturer never suggest doing foil or a flip either. I am content doing chickens without either.

@@jamesg3801 Well i tried, then ultimately just couldn't be bothered to reply to him lol
How about air frying that ol’ chicken?
Dude you were suppose to flip the birds half way thru. you cooked them over 2 hrs the 1 side. FAIL.
I made it clear how I would do it and have no regrets for my method.
@@WaveOvenRecipes well now you know the laws of physics. A whole bird needs to be turned unless its on a rotisserie lol
Well now you show you don't know the point.
Which was to show 2 birds doesn't go like one 🤣🤣🤣
ua-cam.com/video/JUNm20BVccs/v-deo.html
@@WaveOvenRecipes you wasted 2 birds to make that point?
Oh well ... I do like your videos, just wad puzzled why you cooked only on 1 side.
No waste, those birds tasted great!
Somebody get him an external microphone.
Please don't 🙂
He can afford to purchase one himself
