Cheers Jack, chilling while hearing rain hitting a tarp is one of the most therapeutic experiences you can have. Thanks for watching Atb Daz & Andy 😁👍🏼🏕
Nice one lads, can't beat a lazy hammock camp, nice to see the wild garlic out 👌 as you know the open fronted a frame is my favourite configuration, just perfect for chilling out when it's wet and listening to the rain on the tarp 👌👌👌 good job it was raining, Andy definitely has had enough sun 🌞🤣🤣🤣 and you didn't even have to cook lazy subway tea, Perfil 😁👌 I'm the same as you and always sleep well in the hammock 😁😴😴😴😴😴 definitely looking forward to the better weather for a tarpless camp 😁 wild garlic smells lush too 😁 nice chilled camp, catch you both soon, atb Paul 🙏 🏕️🏕️🏕️😁
Cheers brother! Aye nice and chilled out just how we like it. The subway was a welcome surprise, proper good scran those subs like! Just need a bit of summer to show up before we can ditch the tarps, the weather as you know is a bit hit and miss at the moment. Still that doesn't mean the birds won't shit on us! 😂 Thanks for watching buddy Atb Daz & Andy 😁👍🏼🏕
Greetings Daz n Andy. Ya can't beat a night in a forest in a hammock with beers and a foot long. The rain hitting off the tarp is the best sound. Cracking spot you had there. Really enjoyed that. Great set up. 👌
Thanks Emz, you're not wrong, hammocks are the best, really helps with my dodgy back and always get a great sleep when I'm in it. I enjoy the setting up process too! I do enjoy a good foot long in me but only if it's a subway! 😂 Thanks for watching, Atb Daz & Andy 😁👍🏼🏕
Awesome to see you lads back out. Cracking tarp set up,so tranquil listening to rain on the tarp. Andy looks like a Drumstick Squashies with his sunburn. Quality chilled camp, what a place to wake up to and chill with a brew. Wild garlic with a steak ATB Dan 👍 👍 👍 👍
Cheers Dan lad, the sound of the rain on the tarp nearly sent me to sleep! 😂 I don't think Andy was suffering too badly with the sunburn but yeah he definitely looked like a squishy! 😂 Steak with wild garlic sounds good, cooked in a pan with butter 👌🏼 Thanks for watching brother! Atb Daz & Andy 😁👍🏼🏕
I too have the DD Frontline XL I also have the DD under quilt and the DD over quilt 30° each that's 30° f I also have the 5x5 tarp that is my largest tarp I have several others but only one from DD hammocks the rest are from chill gorilla
DD gear is awesome, so reliable, hard wearing and well made. The 5x5 tarp must be HUGE, perfect for winter camps so you can close all sides in and have full protection from the weather. We can do that with the 4.5x3 but it doesn't go all the way to the ground. We've never used any Chill Gorilla gear, is it any good? Thanks for watching all the best Daz & Andy 😁👍🏼🏕
@@bewleybrothers It is extremely huge and yes I do use it for my winter there is one small spot well technically there's two but I only one that I can get to that reaches temperatures of -67° Fahrenheit
Wow that's cold, the temperature in the UK doesn't usually drop that low, I'd say the coldest we've experienced while out camping was around -7°C but then take take off a bit more to factor in for the windchill.
@@bewleybrothers My chill gorilla tarps are my first go-to tarps and I have three of them Tarp one is the hex tarp 2 is the Storm 2 and tarp 3 is the 12x12 I would say they are as strong as the DD tarps but much lighter Except for the DD super light tarp 3x3 I don't think they have anything to compares to that one
Yeah Mike, it's the DD 4x4 multicam, when it starts to rain a few people will fit under it to take cover so it's perfect for group camps. In my opinion they are the best tarps out there. They're not the lightest and don't pack down the smallest but they're very robust and can take a bit of a battering. All taped seams and lots of webbing loops for setting it up in different formations. Thanks for watching, Atb Daz & Andy 😁👍🏼🏕
Thanks very much William, yeah we're Cumbrians born and bred, love living up here, we have the lake district practically on our door step and Scotland is just a few miles up the road. Thanks for watching, take it easy! Atb Daz & Andy 😁👍🏼🏕

Lucky to have that permission spot guys. Lovely place. What's the tarp you got daz? 4x4? Looks massive.
