I have this bergen and am 100% happy with it. The weight distribution and shoulder straps I find are superlative which enables me to carry more weight more comfortably for longer. The overall quality and strength is steadfast. I used to use the original SAS/Para Bergen so there are a lot of nostalgic elements to this new bergen which makes it more appealing for me, as it takes a lot of design cues from the original bergen, but I would say has resolved all of the design flaws of that original bergen. The bergen back reinforcement is similar to the original which was only a large stiff white board of plastic. I unreservedly recommend this bergen.
Passed my assessment last week, thanks for all the vids you been putting up over the years. They've been mega helpful Max, especially the hill sprints one a while back!!👍🏽
That's too tactical/military for the civvy world really, can't go wrong with the venerable old Berghaus Vulcan, add a dpm rain cover for stashing it in the ulu.
With just a few items in to keep its shape, I've quickly measured it and it's 59 cm high, 42cm wide, 36cm depth (from front to back). Not sure on weight, but it's not heavy. If you fill it up its going to be bigger, particularly taller as you have the free floating lid that could expand upwards and also if you're filling all the pouches. if you attach extra pouches it will be wider still. Hope this helps

Nice review, I'm currently using a Jayjays beast bergen 👍🏻
Just Googled it, I can see why it's called the beast bergen!
@@MuscleWorld Pricey as hell but very comfortable when fully loaded up, buy once cry once as they say 👍🏻
Hi.
You tried the new Vitrus GU 10 90 litre?
Top bit of kit.
Stay well.
I've not tried it, but thanks for the tip 👍🙌 thanks for watching, all the best
@@MuscleWorld Ot can be fitted with the new DWD system. Great for carrying heavy loads over long distances.
