- While in NC for our Land of Oz visit, we made a trip over to Blowing Rock to check out Tweetsie Railroad Ghost Train. The Ghost Train event is a family friendly Halloween haunted event, complete with trick or treating, a haunted house, spooky forest and an incredible haunted Ghost Train ride around the park.

My 3 yr old son has watched this video at least 500 hundred times. We took him last week to the opening of the Ghost Train and he loved it. We learned that we could ride the train more than once, so we took two trips.
WOW. This looks like a truly unique and exhilarating experience!
And the design on the exterior of that train is NEXT LEVEL!
Man it's been so long since I have been there. I visited several times as a kid and I gotta say it's amazing to ride on an actual steam locomotive
I'd like to get back during the day to enjoy the train in daylight as well next time. It really was pretty awesome.

We’re going this year and got 9 pm tickets for the train. Will the park still be fun that late? We will probably get there around 7ish
We've only gone this one time, but we did have fun through that time.
Check out Fright Nights in West Palm Beach, FL. They do such and amazing job! It’s just as great as HHN. Me and my wife go every year to both.

It’d be great if you spoke about the logistics of your trips. Like where you’re staying, the area, time it took you to get there, etc.
We have a vid talking about the trip length and showing the place where we stayed but we haven’t been able to edit or post it yet.
It’s Boone NC, there are a lot of hotels nearby but it is App state area so lots of college traffic. I highly recommend going at least once

Wonder why they don’t use 12 for the Ghost Train events? Either way that Crosby 6” 3 chime is beautiful and ghostly at the same time. Great video by the way. Keep up the good work.
I think it's because 190 is quite a bit more imposing in size, and like you said, the whistle is very hollow and ghostly. 190 scares me on a normal Tweetsie day.
@@annaholmes772 The bigger the engine, the scarier it is. #12 is pretty tame for a locomotive.

Question my in-laws want to take our daughter on this train ride and my son my son absolutely loves haunted stuff goes doesn’t bother him a bit but his twin sister hates it. She is absolutely afraid of it and we’re trying to explain that to my in-laws do you think this will be too scary for her if she doesn’t like go stuff for people, jumping at her
I couldn’t possibly judge how someone would react to the experience. I can only say that the ride had a ton of kids of all ages and they seemed to like it.
