I’m glad you did the live version. It was the first version most of us heard. To make it more amazing is that that was one of the first times they played it live.
These are not the actually lyrics. Only the interpretation of the the person that made this video. I highly recommend the album version with the true lyrics. Descending and Invincible were two songs that the band played live at a few shows before they released their latest album last August. That is why you will find a few of these recordings out there. Descending has quickly become one my favorites.
Yes...stir us from our WANTON SLUMBER. But to be fair, there were many live videos put out before the album released. I saw them perform Descending and Invincible several months before the album dropped.
I hope you listen to the album version in your free time... it is much crisper, cleaner, and you can really hear the amazing audio mixing the producer achieved. It is an epic song.
Man you must hear the album version of this one, it changes waaaay too much the quality. Of course live version is awesome too but the studio one is fire. Greetings from Argentina 🙌🏻
I listened to this recording so many times. It is a lower audio quality than the album version obviously, but there is a certain kind of nostalgia from remembering hearing new Tool at that time.
kind of a bummer.... Fantastic song!!! Can hardly hear it here though. You need to hear the studio version. You're missing so much...well we are anyway.
Noooooo. Have to do the studio versions. Tool does not have any video production done at their shows, so it’s always bootleg fan videos. The studio version is incredible. Missed the boat here
I know it's like walking into a guitar store and playing stairway to heaven but to be a reaction channel I think it's required that you do Pisces by Jinjer. Like i think it's a law.
@Inkface Did you ever go back and look up the elements of the fibonacci sequence in Lateralus? There's a whole other side to the song you may have missed.
gotta do the actual Studio no live recordings unless the band it self releases it.. Trust me the recording on album is an experience.. There is a reason they don't do live dvds and shit
I have to agree with everyone else here. Listen to the album version and pull up the real lyrics! He is talking about the downfall of mankind if we don’t change our ways.
this sucks, i was really hoping you would pick this one , normally a live version would be ok , but in this case you should have really went with the studio version
InkFace it just gets better. They honestly don't have a bad track. Early TOOL is a little different. More raw and angry not as much progressive. Still awesome. Some fans even like it better. I like it all.
A few seconds in then realizing it's a 'fan recorded' audio I can't listen. They are so awful. It's not your fault though. Anyway, hopefully you'll do the studio version eventually. I'm still adding a like for your time an effort. 👍
Couldn’t finish it, this recording is terrible. Didn’t want to give you a thumbs down but you got to redo this reaction with the album version! Kind of ironic, the song is about us descending but it is building and ascending from start to finish.
I will do studio version too guys ok dont panic 😂😂🤟🤟👌👌
You need to do it NEXT. This live version is 'ok', but it absolutely does not do the song justice in any way.
@@devanhammack695 I'll second that. The studio version is absolutely EPIC!

The video i posted explains 46&2
Possibly play the full Fear Inoculum in order , gives the listener the full experience
Nice one 👍👍

I can’t wait until you do their Salival version of No Quarter

Do Disposition-Reflection-Triad together! It's the holy trinity

InkFace revisit the studio version.✌
Heedless in our slumber, floating nescient, we, freefall...
Should have done the albulm version.my man

Epic ending always
The quality is so poor on this one, i would highly recommend to listen the album version, completely different experience.
Tool songs are meant to speak to you as you interpret it for yourself.
I can barely hear the music, you think I came here to look at you? Not. But I love the way you listen to the music.👍

Adam is playing the synth with his feet while he counts and plays the guitar rhythm. FYI.
Ugh, never do a live version before a studio version lol
@Inkface

absolutly agree to that! The Album version is better. Try this Inky!

Studio version please. Descending live audio sucks. But hearing it live is amazing, please do the studio version.
@inkface you should watch the video about the fibonacci sequence in regards to the song and album lateralus
Great album.....panic ;p
Most of the lyrics were wrong.
If you haven't heard it yet, can you react to Nightwish - Ghost Love Score (Live @ Wacken 2013)?!?

Shouldn’t went studio version
Please, I beg you, react to Mimi and Josefin's cover of Creep by Radiohead on the Voice Kids 2019. It's really something...you won't be disappointed.
Eesh. Don't do the live performances (unless you've already heard it). The album versions are so much better
Couldn’t finish it, this recording is terrible. Didn’t want to give you a thumbs down but you got to redo this reaction with the album version! Kind of ironic, the song is about us descending but it is building and ascending from start to finish.
Lyrics are way off.. studio with the right lyrics is way way better.
