The point he's trying to make is that all machines of war should have their primaries adjusted to be the same way and be rid of munitions so f2p players can still use machines of war. This is MOW is literally adding pay 2 play to pay 2 win, which is insane
I don't use munitions. I'm FtP and tend to use Tyranid mow, I summon a pod to distract NPCs and to build up my characters (Commissar, Flamer sister, etc) Ditto the rocket- I summon the guard t3 and T4 so I get more out of Isabella'd ress if I don't have an imperial character with adds Chaos machine, only just got so not really experimented with it. All of the MoW make more use as defensive arena pests- if your team is being used by Ai, it doesn't use "your" munitions so in the Dread's case you will ALWAYS see it t3 if it's on your opponent's team
I love the dreadnought and how it looks but sadly seems a lot better than the others machines and if you are willing to pay for ammunition a terrible advantage.
I’m beginning to think this MoW mechanic should be used in Onslaughts and LREs Honour Guard is hard enough but some people can rush these and make them diabolical. Having an extra unit with 20k hp seems perfectly fine??
Got mixed feelings about this. Its good we getting him and he looks amazing. Problem is everyone is going to go for him and arena is going to become painful and i dread to think how much harder war will become because of him. Should do more damage in guild raids though. Feel he will upset the balance abit.
One very minor thing that I noticed with this, the Ultra Marines faction got a smidgen more internal synergy. Galatian having the Big Target trait means, that there is a way to activate Certus' passive with just a UM roster and without the need for tall grass. Super minor, but I thought it was neat ^^
that passive is wack anyways, certus shouldn't be taking any damage with his range ad a sniper in the first place, not to mention it requires ranged damage too
Snowprint still haven’t done anything about aunshi Ragnar double war howl which is one of the most blatant win buttons I’ve ever seen in any game, and then they introduce something like this. Going to stop playing any arena, and probably stop Tacticus altogether, which is such a shame as pvp is the best part of any game for me and many many other people
How long has that been going on now? They could have fixed that easily by just making War Howl only usable once per turn, and they just haven't done it.
They are getting a ton of money from this MoW for sure in the short term, but they also are going to ruin Arena mode for a lot of ppl, they are running a thin line here, where there would be more and more game modes that are tedious to play, and risk ppl getting bored fo the game, or feeling unfair. I hope we are not seeing the beggining of the end with this unbalanced MoW

The value from Galatian is mostly from defensive measures instead of offensive ones- just like in that Munitions breakdown, 3 uses per week for a F2P player (5 if you swap Incursion targets instead of grinding one to high level) is basically nothing, since Guild Raids has 14 tickets per week. Same problem is here for Tournament Arena if you plan to use the Munitions- F2P players can just forget about being able to consistently use it, while Forgefiend is doable like once per fight without exhausting your Munitions too much. I hope that not too many people burn themselves on that one thinking that it will greatly improve their overall Guild Raids performance. This machine is Guild Wars and basic Arena material, everything besides is for whales.
It is so incredibly unhealthy for the game to have a character ability that is only consistently usable by whales. This is a big design mistake and it really makes me worried about the future of this game.

It's like if in a fps game you have like 100 tokens for grenades, and if you ran out you can't use grenades or flash bangs or smoke, but you can buy these tokens for real money to use them again, or gain like 5 tokens a week so you can use grenades 5 times in a week. It's just not cool.
Only thing bs should be used for is to buy energy for 50 bs once a day, it boosts character progress quite a bit You might spend on getting like 2 scrolls every once in a wile, but try not to do that more often, don't want to run out, nothing else is worth
I wonder if the admec faction will get an imperial knight sworn to their service as their machine of war because they do exist, but still, I'm not sure what they're going to pick, but that would probably be the easiest to add as it is would be very similar to the dreadnought in action
That guy's gonna be scary indeed, fighting against someone with him needs to play around posting along with round turns... which I'm not particularly keen on 😂 but that big boy being stationary means he's more of an obstacle than a real enemy adding that he's a Summon means there's gonna be a lot of interactions on to its AI
I despise machines of war. Didnt we learn anything from battlegrounds with vehicles in games like WOW? people want to play their character not faf about with vehicles.
Along with some of the changes to Guild War it feels like slow-play turtling is being increasingly punished in Tacticus. Though I'll definitely say the biggest issue I've had with the Malleus is that two turn cooldown, because half of my battles are over before it comes into play - same here, only with the exorbitant munition cost added on top. Strong, yes. Excessive, probably. Broken? Maybe not quite with aggressive counterplay in Arena/TA. And in Guild War it's a maximum of one use per war anyway. But also, SP has shown willingness to quickly nerf overpowered units (anyone who remembers the first appearance of guardsmen summons in Guild War can surely relate)
Does this mean at some point the Blood Angels will get a Brutalis Dreadnaught as their Machine of War eventually? What about Prinarchs as Machines of War? Wouldnt that be cool 😂
It's a no for me. My chaos characters are pretty average with only Archimatos being useful but I only have like 6 characters. I can't even pass the Common level. They are all dead by level 12

Do you really think that's going to work for players on a regular basis? None of the other MOWs even come close to that. Honestly, the more that I look at it, I'm starting to agree with my teammates that have already said this MOW will probably make them quit the game. F#@$ fighting this thing on a regular basis.

I absolutely hate that War Howl. When you see a Ragnar team deploying in the Arena, it is easier to surrender at once and save time
