Your doing an amazing job with this restoration, very skillful work fabricating the odd shaped panels. I have just binge watched all the episodes. I'm just wondering if the screws you use to position the panels make their own holes, or do you drill pilot holes for the screws first.

@glennford1441 The prep work is more important than the brand of paint... just use whatever good known paint and you will be ok. But if you must know, the one I use is made by tikkurilla.

Just discovered your Chanel, I also have a Discovery in similar condition, Can you tell me what type of acid etch primer you are using?
I use 2k epoxy primer. And weldthru primer in areas where needed.
