    What a great way to spend an evening. We are so lucky and to get a nice fish is a good bonus. How long into autumn until it starts to pick up?

      Once we get a few solid swells it should kick off

    As you said - always good just to get out there; fish is a bonus - out of interest do you use the solunar tables to guide your fishing times

    • @Saltfix
      @Saltfix  3 роки тому +2

      I look at the tables but as usual it’s always best when you have to work.
      If you wait for weather , tables barometer and time off to line up it will never happen. Mostly if I can go I go. If I’m out there I’m in with a better chance than sitting on the couch. I take my meditation from just being there . Enjoy the journey

    Where abouts did you get that Bimini from mate? Awesome content 🤙🏻

    • @Saltfix

      I built the stainless frame myself then had a guy around the corner do the canvas, it’s nice to have some protection
      Out of the wind and spray.
      I wanted it as compact as poss to maximize fishing room but enough to be able to hide and stay dry, I’m happy with the out come also an extension that I can slide in to shade the deck a bit more on hot days.
      Cheers for watching

    Hey mate, what do you use to look up the weather and sea conditions? Every time I try to go out its really bad swell.

    • @Saltfix
      @Saltfix  3 роки тому +1

      I use Willy weather and sea breeze and sort of guess between the two. I just go if I can. Sometimes I turn around and go home sometimes I win it’s very hard to predict

      @@Saltfix Yeah cool cool thanks. I'm an an hour away from the ramp so a bit of a pin to get there and turn back. Just part of the hobby I guess.

    • @Saltfix
      @Saltfix  3 роки тому

      I like shiver sticks but what you have confidence in is what you will use and what will work for you
