I'm crying... I grew up at 9and 10 loving the cure because my older sister was into a lot of music and thank god because I was exposed to so much of the most original and great music. My name is Robert and I was a depressed herion addict at 15 and I loved this band so much. But then I got into thousands of bands, and I just stopped in the 90s listening to the stuff I grew up on but I just stumbled on this and I remember I had a live video of a gig they did in Italy maybe I can't remember but it was a VHS and it was something I watched so much and this song was on it. And I was love with a girl that I ended up loving for the 14 years we were together and she helped me get clean because she hated drugs and that helped me see how crazy I was. And she loved me and she is awesome. And she had the same taste in art and music and litriture and just about every thing we were so very similar. Now I'm almost 50 and I remember being in love at 14 and playing the cure and Nick Cave and the bad seeds and birthday party and lenard Cohen and Tom Waits and Bob Dylan, Neil Young, towns van Zandt, the pixies, black flag, new order , joy division, the pouges,the replacements, fugazi, big black, rapeman, the Jesus lizard, there are so many great bands that are out there it's amazing.how could I forget the Smiths and morrisey.
